Well I hope I'd be able to be considered intelligent! I'm one of Minerva's few children, after all. Anyways, despite my social issues I'm actually quite witty and smart. I've read many books and I am very strong in the field of strategical planning. Because I tend to observe people I'm a good person to come to for solutions to social problems as well! At the same time, if I'm part of the problem I'm hopeless... I get so nervous about making somebody upset with me that I usually only make things worse...

I do my best to always see the bright side in things, because there's rarely a situation where nothing good comes out of it. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not ignorant enough to think that there isn't wrong with the world. There's war, famine, illness, greed... but even in those situations there are some good things... or there are even better things in other places that override it! I think it's better if everybody were just happy in the end, after all. We'd be a lot better off if we could all just enjoy the little things!

I am very maternal. I try to take care of whoever I can however I can-- sometimes even at my own expense. For somebody so smart, I get taken advantage of a lot because of this. It's not that I don't know there's a 97.8% chance that they're only using me, or they're only going to turn on me in the end... I just like to believe in that 2.2% that says I'm actually doing something good for somebody who actually needs it! I'm also quite fond of children; I love taking care of them!
↷xI N S E C U R E
There's a lot wrong with me, and I know it. Because of this, I tend to blame just about anything that goes wrong while I'm around on myself. And I usually can do it, too-- not wailing "oh it's my fault", but rather, "If I had done this differently". I know it's not a good way to be, and I usually wind up feeling really guilty about things that probably don't have anything at all to do with me, but... the thing is they might have to do with me! And if I was there and I was involved, it probably certainly was my fault.

Well, this is the irish in me. It doesn't come out often, but if I get pushed to a point I can be very firm. Honestly, I'm stubborn about quite a lot, but because I'm very good at articulating my point this rarely actually shines through. I don't like to give up, but I know how to tactically retreat then try again another day... and another day... and another day.

I know that I'm smart but... I tend to doubt myself a lot. I have a hard time committing to my own decisions because I tend to focus on the flaws I see in myself and those somehow become flaws in my decisions. It's a very vicious cycle. I mean, I don't beat myself up about everything, but if asked I am more than willing to recite the rather wrong list of everything that is horribly and utterly wrong with me.

↷xLEPRECHAUNS && FOUR LEAF CLOVERS
I was born and raised In Wicklow, Ireland-- a country town of 10'000 or so people. Right on the eastern coast, it was a beautiful place to call home. I lived with my Granda and my Papa in a small family home, and we were all relatively happy. I had a few friends in Ireland, not anybody I really got particularly close to though. I always preferred to read and meddle with little electronics that I could get my hands on-- clocks and watches being my favourite, although I certainly enjoyed messing around with computers and phones as well. We had a good, simple life and we really didn't want to change anything about it. Papa and Granda had a very good business selling flowers and potted plants and I did exceptionally in school. It never really bothered me that I didn't have a Nana or even a Mother like the other kids. I never wanted to pry, either, assuming that I might upset Papa or Granda if I hit a nerve. Unfortunately everything changed on the night that I turned nine. I don't really know what happened... just that Papa was really scared, and that we were on a plane to America before day break.
↷x❝STRATEGICAL RETREAT❞
Papa and I spent a year on the run. I was enrolled in more than a few schools and underwent more than just a little bit of bullying. It's a miracle that only the blood of other people makes me feint, because I may as well have gone comatose if I passed out every time I got a scraped knee I got from being pushed over, or bloody foot from pins in my indoor shoes, or bloody hands from glass hidden inside my desk, or... well, you get the point. Eventually, between the persistent bullying and the equally persistent prodding from whatever was harassing Papa it was decided that I would go to camp. That night Papa told me all about the Greeks, about camp half-blood... he even gave me two daggers made of material that would apparently work on the other things that had been keeping him up at night. He packed me up with a few supplies, told me over and over that he loved me more than anybody else in the world and that, no matter what, I'd be his "Miss Wings" and he would never be too far away. (He wasn't kidding, considering he sold the house we had been living in and 'invested' in a book store, which he named "Angel's Wings", with an overhead apartment that was right there in Berkeley). We got in the car, parked next to a very scary looking forest, and he wished me the best of luck. I didn't really understand all of what was going on, but I went forward like he said and I know that he didn't drive away until I was out of sight.
↷xTHE MAN-EATING WOLF OF DEMIGOD DOOM
I wandered in that forest for a few days with no food, no shelter (beyond what I had to fashion myself), and no idea of where I was even supposed to be going. Just when I had practically convinced myself that I didn’t hold a chance I was approached by what I initially assumed to be a monster. In the condition I was in there wasn’t much I could do in terms of fighting, even with my papa’s weapons, and… well… I suppose I just collapsed. When I woke up the creature, a large wolf who introduced herself as Lupa, explained the situation to me. She helped to nurse me back to relative health and then gave me a challenge to complete before she would allow me to move forwards. Admittedly, it wasn’t easy. There were a few times that I was sure I wouldn’t be able to solve the puzzle presented to me, but I did and she allowed me to go. I made it to camp, only to realize that the worst had yet to come. After all, I was the b*****d child of a pure goddess—I was immediately segregated into the lowest rank of the lowest group and, you could say, ‘hung out to dry’.
↷xLA「 LIVE ACTION 」RISK
Life at camp is something very dangerous. Maybe not to some of the others, but certainly for me. My words of advice to anybody who winds up in my shoes would be “lay low and avoid larger crowds of idle people”—I learned that lesson the hard way. The last six years have been spent mostly scurrying through the shadows, trying to avoid the attention of some of the more dangerous ‘bullies’ at camp. Nothing comes easy, that’s for sure. I still have a few years left and I’ve yet to make any friends, but I’m hoping to break through the prejudice against me and eventually find at least one person I can talk to! I just… hope I don’t get beat up again before that happens.
