The ball is coming up very soon and that means that this room needs to get sorting out. This includes the Ballroom, too, not just the treehouse.
Art needs to be ordered, graphics made, plot finished and cast decided on. We can't do any of that until we know who is in what room with what characters.
Meetings haven't been working and neither have discussion threads or PMs which means that very soon an executive decision may come from Spotted and I. With that in mind this would be the time to put forth any ideas you have been thinking of or anything that you think might help or make things easier for everyone. Don't be shy about offering up ideas! Everyone's thoughts will be considered while decisions are being made and we will be trying one more time to have a final meeting to sort things out.
this is also the time to confirm who is still active and who is not and what availability will be during the ball.
If you're not sure what I am talking about then read the spoiler to be caught up:
The Treehouse has been struggling with planning and activity since only a couple of people were still active in the room. Violet's room was doing well but, with her acceptance to college, her limited availability during the ball compromises her room. The decision was made to combine these rooms as two rooms cannot function with a few hosts who may or may not be active but one room can flourish with a number of hosts who are all willing and able to work together creatively despite their availabilities.
This does not mean that anyone must abandon characters or plot ideas! The finalizing of this merge has yet to be made so if you want to keep your character or if there is a certain element from your room that you want to hold onto (any character development, some part of the plot, etc.) then speak up now because the more ideas on this merge the easier it will be to sort it out and catch up to where we should be at planning phases this time of the year.

So, let me think here. If everyone stays as they are, here's what we've got for characters according to what I could find.

What I'm thinking in terms of plot would be something like Pro-Treehouse vs. Pro-Ballroom. Perhaps they could be:

Pro-Ballroom Éponine Cinderella Jay Gatsby Megara
If you think differently, awesome. You'll be the ones pulling this room off. Feel free to change it. I was trying to keep the numbers even.
Basically, all of these characters are attracted to the same location. Some of them want to turn it into the ultimate tree house (I'm thinking very Phineas and Ferb here) and the others want it to be a ballroom. Now, we didn't get too far into the plot before I found out that I needed to step down.
Now, lurking in the treehouse plot, while I like it, here's what I'm thinking to incorporate both rooms:
Day 1: The characters have just arrived at the treehouse. They decide to have a party. There is a debate as to what the theme should be for said party. Some of the characters want a block party, while others want a masquerade. We have time for some quests. We mention frequently the fact that we were taken from our stories and we have no interest in going back. Some time during the day, the family get some, probably from grocery shopping or something. They see the people in their yard and are horrified. We find a way to beat them back. Preferably by being diplomatic and talking it out… Psh, like that's going to happen! The elderly couple go back into their home, discouraged for the time being. It's obvious they are making plans.
Day 2: Another day of debating about which theme for the party. The room is split in half with some of it ready for a block party and some of it ready for the a masquerade. Suddenly, midday, the elderly couple attack. This might be where they send their hoards of cats after us. Each person that wants to can have a mule that plays a cat. This attack will hit us pretty badly. The whole place will be a mess, things will be broken, people will be maimed, etc.
Day 3: We start by cleaning up the mess from the night before. We can tend to the wounds/bruised egos of the hosts. It is decided that the two parties can co-existed. We plan on taking the treehouse once and for all. There are a variety of ways this can be done. 1. We can pull the ULTIMATE prank. 2. We can lure them into the treehouse and throw a giant party, showing them how much fun they can have. They decide to let us stay. Personally, I like this one cause we can show how the two parties co-exist. 3. We declare war on the crazy cat lady. 4. We hold one of the cats hostage.
Now what I also like is Pinkie's idea of a Quest System. Each character would have their own quest.
Oh, and I could totally play a cat. I cannot host, but I can be a cat. :3
This is a really awesome idea! It also fills up three days worth of activities. And you are more than welcome to play a cat. We're going to need a lot of cats!

It's great to see replies from folks that are willing to help get his sorted out. If we hear from a few more either supporting the ideas that Violet has out forward or giving more ideas then that would be even better.

I'm still alive I just don't get the alerts anymore Which is probably why I thought our room had died Then I checked a week or two ago Almost had a heart attack
I will help prepare this room in any way I can I promise you that much For a lot of people, Annual Ball and Gaians alike, this is their first ball I want to make it memorable
EDIT;; I will also be doubling (tripling) up on characters, I guess. I will be playing two cats as well as Tom Sawyer I plan on making mule accounts for these I think room members and guests alike will find it..... amusing

This rooms seems pretty much sorted out now so this is great!

Also, yes. CATS. We need as many people to play cats as possible. We're going to have a battle between the cohosts and the cats. Ideally, we have a cat for each cohost and a few extras to attack guests. You know, fun stuff.
