Amphitrite was busy with her work and was tending to the sea creatures. It had been a rough day for her since she was going about her duty to try not to run into Poseidon on this day. She just wanted some alone time possibly, but if he did show up she wouldn't be too agitated. She was a bit nervous about having a pack with him since she knew he wasn't exactly the loyal type, but she didn't want to be useless at the same time.

Suijin was swimming through the sea. It had been a while since he had socialized with others as well. He passed the reef before noticing Amphitrite the goddess of sea life. At first he was surprised to see her so out in the open. He swam and hid behind a rock wondering what would happen if she saw him and how she would react to an aqua like himself. Nonetheless this intrigued him greatly on why she would be in this area in the first place.

Amphitrite stopped before turning around to see another aqua hiding behind a rock. She wasn't sure what he was doing spying on her and raised an eyebrow in confusion. "You can come out. I'd like to see who is here anyways and not have someone who watches me in the shadows. Besides, that's Nicor's job." She swam over to him before sitting. "I don't bite heads off...unless you offend me of course. You don't seem to be that type though."

Suijin gulped and nodded his head. Even though she sounded to be calm he knew that she could be really stern if she switched her mood. "Yes mam." He looked around. "I'm sorry that I was watching from the shadows. I was just wondering what a beautiful goddess such as yourself would be doing out here in the open sea. Not many aquas come out here and even so some claim it's dangerous."

Amphitrite couldn't help but smile at the compliment Suijin gave her. He seemed like a caring enough type and a lot better than other aquas. Perhaps he would do. "I understand, although I am kind of used to danger since I live close to another who would be considered dangerous." She paused for a moment. "Does this area make you nervous? If it does we can talk elsewhere. I could use some good company for once instead of having to deal with duties."

Suijin was still a bit surprised that a goddess would grace him with her presence. "You do?" He looked back. "A calmer area sounds better at the moment. We can have a better conversation anyways without sea monsters or aquas with ill intent."

Amphitrite nodded her head. "I do, but at the same time I cannot speak of him, because sometimes just saying his name is a curse." She looked around the area before swimming far away from where they were. Once they were in calmer more relaxing waters she did ease up. "Are you afraid of me? You don't seem to talk that much about yourself." Amphi wasn't used to being admired and truthfully she didn't like it when others overdid it since it made her feel like she couldn't have a normal conversation with another. "Well...maybe I'm the one who needs to learn to talk to others." She looked down at herself a bit sad. "Anyways, what waters or area do you come from?"

Suijin was confused on who she was talking about before he noticed that she was talking straight to him again once they got to a calmer area. "Well...I don't know if you would call it afraid or fear in reverence." He paused for a second watching her almost like she was sad. What did she have to be sad about? She was the goddess of sea life. She had more ability than he would ever have. "Well...I guess I need to learn to talk to a goddess." He chuckled a bit before starting a conversation. "Well I am actually a wanderer. I don't have much of a home and just try to live where there is food and decent shelter. I can hold my own most of the time."

Amphitrite realized she was being a bit too harsh with him. Perhaps she should try to lighten up a bit. "Well I am thankful for your reverence of me. It is nice to know you are appreciated. Most of the praise ends up with Poseidon since he's the ruler of the sea." She looked around the area making sure Nicor wasn't watching her or anything. The last thing she needed was him busting in and trying to use his demonic energy on this aqua. "Well that certainly sounds like an interesting life." She paused for a sec. "Don't you have a family that worries about you?"

Suijin had heard of Poseidon before and he wasn't sure what he thought of him. By the way things were he was actually more fearful of Poseidon then Amphitrite since she was trying to have a nice conversation with him. "Well he does seem to be the type that if you were to tick him off, his wrath would kill you." He looked down. "I wouldn't want him doing something to me." Suijin shrugged. "It's the only life I've ever known. I just woke up one day and there I was. I guess my parents abandoned me. What were your parents like or do gods and goddesses not have parents?"

Amphitrite was a bit scared of Poseidon too. He was the fearsome king of the sea and she knew that disobeying him would cause chaos. However, she didn't find it nice that he would flirt over any female that walked his way. She shook her head to get rid of the thought. "He is a fearsome god." She listened to Suijin as he finished and was surprised about his family and the fact he would ask about her parents since not many normally did. Then again not many tried to make conversation with her. "Well that's a terrible thing for your family to do." She paused for a second then looked down. "I guess mine is no better. They pretty much didn't care and pretty much encouraged me to marry Poseidon. To tell you the truth it is very awkward, but at the same time I don't want to rile up both Poseidon and my parents. That's why I'm pretty much passive about being Poseidon's mate."

Suijin was a bit surprised that Amphitrite the goddess of sea life was being so open to him especially about her feelings. She seemed more of a tough type, but it just went to show don't judge an aqua by it's appearance or a goddess for that matter. "That's too bad." He looked down not sure what to say for a bit then looked back up. "Well if you need someone to vent you can always come to me. I may not understand where you're coming from sometimes, but I'll try to help you the best I can."

Amphitrite started to smile a bit. Things might turn out for the better and this aqua didn't seem to be half bad. "I got a proposition for you if you are interested. Would you like to come with me and live in a pack of aquas? You could be my beta if you would like." She paused for a second stopping herself. "Although I don't want to force it on you. There is responsibility that comes with it and if you are the type that enjoys your freedom then you might not want it. Otherwise the choice is yours."In the shadows Nicor was watching Amphitrite. She had thought that she had swum far enough away from him, but he was under orders to watch her from a higher power. "Well well Amphi...trying to recruit newbies? Heh...not like it matters. They will probably be weaklings that get in the way." He was a good distance from them and out of sensing range so it was perfect for him. He was not stupid enough to go after Amphitrite, but the other one might prove more of an even match for him.

Suijin cocked his head for a second a bit surprised she would choose him, but still it did not anger him. "Well I would love to serve you. What more could I wish for then to serve a goddess?" He paused. "Besides, I could keep you company if it's ok. That is if you really want to." Suijin was starting to relax, but just after he spoke he froze for a bit almost like he knew something was out there. "Um...Amphitrite? Is there by any chance anywhere else we can continue to talk about this?" Suijin looked around. He could not see any danger, but something felt too wrong to him. Almost like it was like he felt like he was being watched.
