Back Story: Amadeus grew up in Little Italy of New York City, New York. His father was abusive to his alcoholic mother when she was pregnant with the feeble boy. As a baby, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. He could barely move his hands and arms. As a child, his legs got stronger and he could walk as well as anyone, but he couldn't run, especially from bullies. Finally, in the first year of high school, someone cares about him enough to help: the music teacher. The kind man began to help Amide's motionless hands begin to move beyond holstering a pencil. After a while, they start to fall in love and a little something happens... Oh, and one more thing, despite an uncaring mother, abusive father, and an older sibling that moved away and never came back for him, all the adversity of being gay and different, and knowing that he'll always have to struggle to fit in: Amadeus keeps smiling... Because you can have over 9,000 problems and forget them all with a smile.
