The Setting
Before the old farts from the books find the nursing home, they run into an interesting place from our modern world: the local appliance store! How do your characters react to this new setting? Let's find out!

If you have not read the story that your character is associated with, let me know and I will find it for you. Everyone's stories excepts for mine, Inky's, and Malomy's are quite short. Inky, if you haven't read any, just pick a few adventures if you don't have a ton of time. They come in bite sized chunks. wink

Ignoring the "CLOSED" sign hanging from the door, Ms. Havisham entered the building. The shop door closed behind her with a sudden bang that made her jump a little. Looking around quickly, she was relieved to see that no one had observed her lapse of composure.
"What is this place?" she murmured, looking around at the strange articles on the shelves. In the background of her mind, she thought she heard a noise, a constant, rhythmic noise. A ticking. Spotting the cheap plastic analog clock on the wall whose face read simply, "Happy Electronics," Ms. Havisham turned and moved more closely to the device, a sneer in her eyes and a scowl on her lips.
"Rubbish," she said. "It is rubbish, and it must stop!"
Taking the clock in her hands, she removed the backing, batteries and all, and began slowly disemboweling the happy trinket, clock pieces falling to the floor with the cold finality of death.
