How and why was this shop formed? This shop was formed for the purposes of Lucille Hendrix to follow her love for Engineering. After she received her permit letter from the Guild after she informed them that she had been under college level education for tinkering and engineering, this shop was born. Aside from it's at times not kept up appearance, it's her pride and joy as she spends hours on end to meet the deadlines of her many assigned and demanded projects. Lucille's dying ambition for the shop to thrive is a part of what has kept it up today although she may be losing it slowly due to dying business from other shop rivals. Lucille couldn't bare to live in the slums so she took what skills she had and the love to reconstruct and tinker with things to make a grand living of herself. She may not be poor nor rich, but middle class and comfortable where she lives regardless of her want to move to an even more grand unit.
What is the interior like? Lucille's strange quirk for candles as an alternative for lighting has driven her to the position of having the shop have no electricity regarding lighting. During her operating hours at night she'll have nicely rows of burning candles and lanterns on the wall. Some may see this as a cheap solution to the lack of lighting and brand her as cheap for it, but it was more of a personal choice than a money issue. The color scheme of the shop is shades of brown with book shelves lining the walls scattered with gears and trinkets alike. Some old and dusty, shined and polished, or even unfinished and are out for speculative display. There is a bell at the door for when someone enters or leaves all employees will be notified. There is a velvet welcome carpet as well at the door as the rest of the shop has no special decorations, but is hard wood flooring. As you make your way into the shop and past it's warm transparent windows you'll come to a glass case that is filled in a neat line of expensive and rare gears that are hard to come by and are desired by all. Price tags are written respectably for every gear listed.
Most customers don't have the chance to venture into the back, but if you do happen to you'll find three separate rooms in the back of the shop. One serves the purpose of Lucille's private work shop where she spends hours meeting Guild deadlines and the other serving as a smaller empty room for a possible office for another employee that has yet to be hired. The third one is simply a bathroom and in all of it's respectful glory that is free to the public for common customers that Lucille has an acquaintance with and possibly friends with. For people who walk in will be denied and given the reason that it is only for the employees. There is a wooden chair old with age that sits in the corner in case anyone would wish to sit in it as there are chairs and a desk in Lucille's workshop and side office. The outside of the shop has a brown and white shading that hangs over the doorway and golden ink written in a personalized font that speak of sales and the shop's name. There may also be plots of flowers in the spring or summer of varying colors.

If you see Lucille in the shop and you'd like to buy something or merely chat not at designated times, she will unlock the premises and allow you to come in accordingly. Usually not a crowd of people, but one or two she'd be happy and willing to serve.
** In the instance of holidays, the shop will be open for designated times, but will not be open for the Festival of the City.
What's for sale? Various trinkets to more common gears of sorts align the shelves that lean against the walls of the shop. Most go without a marked price until you bring it up to an employee or Lucille herself to negotiate a fair and reasonable price. However if you try to throw a low offer and you aren't a friend of Lucille, she will become angry and threaten you to get out of the shop if you persist. If something on the shelve or under the case doesn't meet your eye, she will take customizations and other offers for special trinkets, but of course at a higher price than the rest of the oddities she has out for display. Lucille on a rare occasion also offers small repairs for she doesn't specialize in large repair-esque engineering as she merely tinkers with small objects making precise changes with the gears, but she'd be happy to give it a try. Other miscellaneous things line the shelves and if Lucille finds it no use to her she'd just as well offer it to a customer for free if it catches their eye.
Help Wanted? ✔ Available Spots Lately Lucille has been having irregular sleeping patterns and is not able to open the shop at the designated times and wishes to hire an employee to watch and open the shop for her. However none of her information is provided and expects the person to drop by when they see her next to talk to her about the position. Lucille doesn't care for paperwork so she'd interview them in person and require them to merely sign a contract that she'll notify to the Guild as they require to keep track of all employees of Engineer shops around the City. You'll be asked a series of questions and Lucille will base your capabilities and ability to work for her off of your answers along with discussing pay, benefits, sales, rules, etc. For the moment Lucille is only looking for one employee to watch the shop for her.
