Sabriel and I were talking about updating the profiles on the front page. Since almost 5 years has past in the story started, I think. There are characters that are no longer in use, like Tegan and other characters we can remove to make way for the current players.

Vladimir James
Age:
22 (17 on first introduction)
Personality:
He is a quiet boy who often spends time alone. If he is with anyone, it's usually his twin Stephan. Vladimir is a very intelligent boy with the powers over the mind, though he's almost always lost in his own thoughts. Vladimir is polite and respectful, never being rebellious or engaging in pranks like his twin. While he may be a proper prince most of the time, he has a vicious temper that should not be reckoned with. His lack of physical strength is vastly overpassed by his sheer intelligence and abilities.
Abilities:
Current Powers Telekinesis, Telepathy, Mind Control, & Empathy
Potential Powers Astral Projection, Dream Manipulation, Clairvoyance, & Psychometry
Biography:
Vladimir is the eldest son of the James family and the Crown Prince from a young age. He had a strong bond with his family, until Alyssa was stolen away. He changed from an ambitious and active child to a lonesome bookworm who took the struggles of finding Alyssa personally. His physical health has been a problem for him over the years, with his lack of commitment to keeping himself active and healthy. As years passed, he took on the teachings of his sick father and began learning how to lead the country for the day he would be King. He found Alyssa and brought her home, adding a in-laws to the family in the form of the Wardel family. With the marriage between Alyssa and Asbel forming an alliance with Azeron and Bethel, Vlad allowed himself to let love into his life in the form of Anastasia, whom he met at the ball in Bethel. Tragically, this was not allowed to bloom as his father passed away and he was forced to take over as King. He was forced into a marriage with the Duchess Charlotte Marjorie, giving way for a daughter named Marjorie. Pandora Nyx, the ex-Queen of Bethel and estranged mother of Alyssa and Elyon, was responsible for killing Charlotte and causing Vlad to fall into a darker depression. His family is currently looking for a nurse to attend to his physical, and mental, issues so he can be a better King.

Biography:
Elyon is the oldest daughter to Ulrich and Pandora, meaning she is the heir to the Bethel throne. She grew up within the turmoil caused by the conflict of Azeron and Bethel. In her youngest years, she defied her mother at every chance, hating who her mother was (knowing she hide behind a facade). As the years passed, she became a strong and independent young woman who often hid her powers because few understood them. Her only friends were her brother and their shared guard, Karsander. When the James family snuck into the Bethel ball to take Alyssa home, Elyon told them to take Asbel too. Once Asbel and Alyssa were married, the conflict between the countries was lifted. The King banished his wife when he realised the monster she was, causing Pandora to flee and go on a killing spree (starting with Victoria’s family and later Anastasia’s). Elyon was then told to marry in preparation for becoming Queen as her father lay on his deathbed. His slow passing takes a toll on Elyon, mostly because her father is ill from the affects of poison from her mother. Her engagement to Caleb is one of mutual respect and even love, an uncommon thing in arranged marriages.

Personality/Mannerism:
Barda only speaks when something needs to be said; his intelligence and observant nature taking in much more than many realize, making him a wise adviser to those who seek his counsel. His protective nature extends not only to the one he is sworn to protect, but to any around him. He is extremely well-respected and well-liked by everyone who knows him; however, when tired, he can become aggressive and unpredictable. Barda is quite loyal and generous; this is demonstrated in his willingness to assist anyone and everyone in whatever they need without a second thought and without ever appearing subservient or uncertain of his individuality.

Barda, like many in the Azeron Army, was an orphan placed in the ranks to be put to use rather than in the overflowing orphanages. He grew up and took the last name when he married a lower-class spinstress named Eliza Hubrecht. She slowly died from an illness similar to AIDS, devastating Barda. This was only increased when he found out she was 2 months pregnant when she died. He fell into a dark depression he seemed unable to crawl out of. That was until he discovered the rose gardens of Azeron and found something he was passionate about. With the help of a few Army soldiers, he was able to find himself.

However, the damage was done and he would never be able to fight in battle on the frontlines. Instead, they offered him a chance to join the Royal Guard. He took it acceptingly, still wanting to protect those in need of it. He was assigned to King Vladimir after Queen Charlotte's death, serving alongside his current guard, Kaden. He can also serve as a translator since he knows Istrean, Ballaen (the language of Ballo fel Fiore), and several island nations to the far east that Azeron trades with.

Background:
Loreen was born to a well-liked knight of Azeron and a barmaid. Her mother died in childbirth, leaving her daughter to be reaised by her now-widowed father. He kept his knightly duties going, often bringing his little Lora with him. Once she was old enough, she was granted permission to learn blacksmithing to forge swords. What her father never told anyone was that the swords she made were used to practice, so she would never be able to be hurt by anyone. Over nights, they both trained long and hard, molding Loreen into the powerful knight she was to become.

On her sixteenth birthday, her father became deathly ill and was placed in quarentine. She never saw him again, since he died late in the night on the eighteenth night of being there. Loreen swore her alleigance to the Knights of Azeron and was scoffed at, being told she would never be a knight. Loreen proved them wrong then and there by dueling with the leading General himself, beating him in three swings of her trusted sword.

Her reputation as "Loreen the Valiant" has carried through to her older age and she never lets anyone forget her fearsome reputation in battle. Her no-nonesense personality and sheer dedication often rubbed people the wrong way, especially her superiors, who wanted her gone. Late one night, the Captain tried to have her executed and she almost beat him to death with her bare hands. Although excused from any wrong-doings, she was relieved of duty and placed on the Royal Guard to be "of better use".

Name: Apollonia Argyris

Age: 34yrs old

Personality: She's a direct, practical, honest and to-the-point woman with a will of steel. She detests excuses or reasons why something can't be accomplished. Once she has a goal in mind or a job to do, she's the type who will see it through to the end. What she likes the most is feeling useful.

Power: Immunity to most poisons, increased resistance to common diseases, a strong immune system, strong constitution, very steady hands and a vast knowledge of various plants, herbs, fungi and the like. Also able to assist in surgeries and perform minor ones.

Bio: Apollonia comes from a long line of healers, dating as far back as anyone in the family can keep track of. When she was old enough to stand up on her own and form sentences, she began training to become a medicine woman. Her childhood was spent training and shadowing the medicine men and women in her clan. This meant that she had no time to spare for play or making friends. There was only time for her work, which has made her a bit unsociable. A part of her traditional learning was consuming the ingredients she'd use in her potions, salves, poisons and other various medicines. This also involved insects, animal parts and so on. This was, among other reasons, to become familiar with the properties of the ingredients for the purpose of identifying them should that be necessary. She was trained in spiritual healing as well, though she didn't do too well with it.
When she was seventeen years old, one of the villagers fell ill with something her family's methods couldn't cure. A non-traditional doctor was called in and was able to heal the patient and stop the spread of disease. Apollonia observed the process and became interested in learning the new methods. So she left her family, much to their disapproval, to study medicine. She's since become a traveling nurse renowned for her skills in the medical community.

Other: Loves frilly, feminine clothing. Friends with Anastasia. Uses reading glasses.

Personal Guard to Queen Elyon

Personality/Mannerism:
Dedicated to his craft of war and protection, Rein is a very strong warrior at heart. He is always proving himself and training at all times, something very common of those from Ballo del Fiore. Unlike many Balleans, he has a passion for music, something that comes from his Bethen father. He is talented in string instruments, including one commonly used in Ballo del Fiore festivals. He commonly breaks gender and stereotype norms, to the point he was exiled from Ballo del Fiore. Fleeing to Bethel, he fought hard to find a place to call his own. He is now very protective of his role and can come across as jealous of those who try and take it. He always tries to feel at ease, but his paranoia of being exiled again has made him a much darker person now.

Background:
Ballo del Fiore is a nation of warriors; strong-willed, determined, and deadly in times of war. An ally of Bethel, they are a powerful trade ally as well. They specialise in the best weaponry, since their lands are abundant in the proper minerals and items necessary for crafts of battle. It is a Asian-themed country which holds true to many ideals of that culture. They are family oriented, loyal to their leaders, and have a rich history.

Reinfrid is half Ballean and half Bethan (his father is from Bethel and his mother from Ballo del Fiore). As a “half-breed” he was met with much hate and prejudice from his own people. Although he was born and raised there, holding true to the ideals and customs of his country, he never felt like he belonged anywhere. When he was twenty-five, he was banished for “starting a conflict with another country” when he was merely on a guard mission protecting traders. Betrayed by his own land, which he loved, he went straight to live in Bethel. He was accepted much more amongst those there, although his fighting style and physical appearance were still met with scepticism. Rein has proven, to the superiors in the Bethel Army, he is worthy of being there. He was selected to act as a Personal Guard to Elyon when she is crowned as Queen.

Rein is a humble person deep down, but a lifetime of fighting for the things he wants has left him unable to accept being given things or being offered help. He doesn't mean to lash out at people who ask for such things, but generosity is a rarity in his life and he is merely unable to comprehend how to deal with it. He tries to be a better person to feel at home in Bethel, but it is hard for someone like him. He often doesn't sleep because nightmares filled with his anxiety and paranoia fill his head.

Personality: Scarlett is stubborn and will not leave anyone behind. She speaks only when its necessary and doesn't really know how to express her feelings well. She becomes kinder as you get to know her and she's actually quite talkative the closer you are to her. She tires her best to cheer people up when they're down, however, in battle she can be a bit harsh. After growing close to Sebastian, she slowly started to show a bit more emotion. She tried her best to always be there for him, and she hopes that she can support him the best that she can. She also picked up the habit of training when she had conflicting or troubling thoughts.

Power: She can heal wounds as long as she takes them upon herself instead.

Bio: Scarlett doesn't remember much of her past, and was never raised with a family of her own. Scarlett was raised in an orphanage, often being bullied for her odd hair color. Some called her a tomato due to its bright red hue. She often times cried a lot to the sister that took care of them, and Scarlett grew to lover her like a motherly figure. However, after over hearing a conversation between some sisters Scarlett learned the hard way that the sister she saw as a mother had seen her as an annoying brat. After that Scarlett cried, her heart broken. Though she vowed that she wouldn't cry ever again. After she stopped crying, the other kids tried their best to get her to cry. They were surprised to see that Scarlett had no more tears to cry anymore. Eventually, she was adopted into a rather wealthy family that needed an heir. They saw some qualities in her that they were searching for, and found that she also had the temperament they wanted as well. As she grew, her new father taught her how to fight with a sword and taught her proper manners. After years of practice and hard work, she became a knight and is proud to serve her kingdom. She would do anything to keep the royal family safe, even if she had to give up her own life. The king and queen have showed her much kindness and she plans to repay them no matter what.

As time went by, she eventually grew closer to Sebastian, one of the princes. She never imagined that he would feel the same way about her as she did about him. To say she was shocked and excited was an understatement. There were some bumps in the road, and they did have to hide their relationship for a bit. After a few more years their relationship was exposed to most of the royals in the castle, but the people outside the castle had yet to find out about their relationship. Now the kings wife was murdered, and Sebatian's brother Stephen finally came back. Scarlett used to be close with the blond haired prince, however, how she feels angry and upset with him. He left without saying anything for years, and it took a big toll on Scarlett. Currently she doesn't wish to see or speak with him.

Bio: Ryōjin doesn't remember much from his childhood, all that he really remembered was being surrounded by flames. After that he somehow managed to land in a rather poor orphanage that didn't have the funds to take care of all the children that were sent there. This is where his real story began. In a desperate attempt to survive, Ryōjin often times had to resort to stealing food and clothing. He did get caught a few times, and was punished but that didn't stop him. He began sharpening his skills, and soon he became a skilled thief. Many knew of him and tried to catch him, but as he grew up he started using odd abilities to get away. The orphanage eventually kicked him out, and so he spent his teens living on the streets. After a few more years, he returned to the orphanage in secret and donated gold and food to the kids there. He treated the kids there like his own siblings, and that's when he vowed to steal from the rich and give back to the poor. Lately, he's been visiting a strange garden that has exotic plants and flowers in it. He picked a few here and there and gives them to the children back home. He doesn't know who's garden it is, but whoever it is doesn't seem to be home. So he often times stops by and visits the place in his free time.

He never did get to say good bye to the girl, but he hoped that some day she'd get out of this place too.

A few years later, at the age of 15, the guild recommended him to the royal family as a personal guard for their son Vladimir. Name: Anastasia

Age: 22 (17 during the stories intro)

Personality: Anastasia is very active and hates trying to act lady-like. She's more of a tomboy and hates it when her parents scold her for training with a sword. She can be very stubborn and she has a hard time admitting when she's wrong. She doesn't like it when men try to act like they own her and she would rather train than attend tea parties and balls. She can be kind if you get close enough to her, but she can also come off as very rude at first. She does have a girly side, but she rarely ever shows it to others. She also has a weakness for sweets and noble acts.

Power: She can tell if someone's lying to her or not.

Bio: Anastasia comes from a very wealthy family. Ever since she was young, her brothers have taught her how to fight in secret and she loved it. She wasn't always fond of the girly side of her life and she was always happiest with a sword in hand. She disliked the fact that since she was born a women she was restricted to only looking good and impressing her peers. She usually ran off during events and avoided going to dances and ball. However, her parents are cracking down on her and she has no choice but to find someone she can marry. After being forced to go to a ball, she met a man by the name of Vladimir. He was an odd fellow, but it wasn't like Anastasia disliked him or anything. He helped her out after a few men tried to force her to dance. It resulted them in having a rather pleasant night. She had to admit that she was a tad bit infatuated with him. He certainly seemed to understand her, and he honestly seemed genuinely interested in getting to know her as a person and not as a trophy.

After that night, Anastasia felt something she didn't understand. She had wanted to see Vladimir again. However, when she returned home her father broke the news to her that her mother was killed. To say that Anastasia was shocked was an understatement. To make things worse, her father forced her to leave home. Anastasia argued with him, but her father refused to listen. Since then her relationship with her father turned sour and she felt abandoned by her own family. To make matters worse she found out that Vladimir, the man that had promised to meet with her again, was to be married. Her heart shattered at the news, and she grieved at how her life seemed to be spiraling out of control. She didn't want to feel what she was feeling, and she wanted it all to go away. So she trained with her swords, and even got some lessons from Karsander.

After that she became lady Victoria's personal knight and never did speak to Vladimir for years. She vowed to never let anyone in, to never open up her heart again. She cut off her emotions, and as a result became a fine knight. Though Victoria and her nurse, Apollonia some how managed to wiggle into her heart. Regardless, Anastasia serves Victoria faithfully and is currently in the middle of healing a grievous wound.

There once was a kingdom named, Azeron. Azeron was a great and peaceful kingdom, practically a utopia. Azeron was ruled by a gracious king and queen. They had twin sons, Vladimir and Stephen. When Vladimir and Stephen were two years old the family was blessed with another set of twins, Sebastian and Alyssa. The kingdom rejoiced since they loved the royal family.
Each child was born with a special gift. Vladimir was consecrated with the gifts of mind control and telekinesis. Stephen was blessed with the power to control elements. Sebastian was endowed with gifts of strength and speed. Finally, Alyssa was ordained with the power to control emotions and states of being with your singing or humming and the power over light. The kingdom was kept in this utopian state thanks to these blessed children who were able to use these gifts to make the kingdom a perfect place.
Although this utopia soon after became a dystopia after the royal family was robbed of their only daughter. She had not been but only at the age of one when a treacherous servant became part of another kingdoms retinue. The children were in the garden with their assigned laborious maids not knowing of the impending attack that was to come. When the bell rang to alert the kingdom of the ongoing attack the maids separated each with a child. They knew that each child was important and each must be taken to safety. If the rival kingdom were to get their hands on all four children they could be used as weapons to destroy or intimidate other countries causing to fall to totalitarianism.
The family was devastated when they all gathered in a safe place after the attack only to discover that the maid protecting Alyssa was slaughtered and that there was no trace of their precious daughter and sister. Of course Sebastian to young to even recall the day but every year on the birthday of the two the family mourned of the loss of Alyssa. Sebastian solemnly mourned each birthday in his room. He and his brothers heard the story of that fateful day over and over again. Sebastian always found himself training constantly hoping to get stronger and stronger to get revenge on whoever took his sister from them.
It is once again Sebastian and Alyssa’s birthday. They are now fifteen and Vladimir and Stephen are now seventeen. Will they continue to mourn for their sister or will they actually go and find her.

What is this hole in my heart?
Where did it come from?

----------------------------------
In the kingdom of Bethel, Alyssa awoke early that morning to start on her daily chores, just like she’s been doing since she was a young girl. She was beautiful girl with a beautiful body although now it was scared and scrapped by the other servants, her chores. She stood from her bed in the dark cold room that resembled a prison cell. She changed into her uniform quickly then walked through the servants’ quarters to wake up her mother. When she went to wake her, she was already gone. Mira sighed and went to collect the royal family’s laundry to do the washing, almost forgetting that it was her birthday. She had been living in this castle for as long as she could remember. She was raised by one of the king’s servants. She was to be a servant herself, shunned by the other servants.

Alyssa walked through the intricate halls with the beautiful paintings and gold molding, collecting the laundry, stopping every now and then to pick up clothing that she may have dropped due to various servants bumping her roughly as they passed her in the hall. She sighed softly to herself as she took a deep breath getting rather tired of this usual routine. She bowed and smiled to the nobles that passed her. She dragged the rather heavy basket of clothing through the hundreds of halls, and down multiple staircases, through the servants quarters, and across the very large courtyard to the washing river. Alyssa plopped down on the river bed tired from dragging the heavy basket all the way. Once she caught her breath and rested a while, she began to wash the clothing. She sang a soft happy tune to herself emitting a happy feeling throughout the kingdom. It seemed music was always on her mind. She didn’t know why but she never questioned it. She always found it odd though that depending on the song she sang people's moods would change. She had no clue of the powers she had.

Vladimir, Prince Asbel, Karsander, & Princess Elyon

Vladimir paced around the royal castle of Azeron, his arms behind his back as he was lost in thought. He paid no attention to the flutter of chamber maids walking around him, or his siblings talking in the other room. "What to do about Alyssa? Can we do anything to return her home to us?" he thought to himself, sighing deeply as he looked out the window with a pained expression on his pale face.
★★★★★★

Walking down the hallway, Asbel, Prince of Bethel, briskly went past. He stopped at the Laundry room, when he heard singing from inside the room. Stepping inside, he smiled as he saw Alyssa. She was his closest friend, beside his sister Elyon. "Good morning, little Alyssa," he said and walked over to her. Although it was forbidden for there to be a friendship between royalty and the maids, he and Alyssa were friends. They had been since she arrived in Bethel.
★★★★★★

Elyon, Prince Asbel's older sister, was sitting in the gardens of the palace, painting an elaborate picture of the landscape before her. Several maids held umbrellas over her head to shade her from the sun, while others fanned her. Elyon briskly waved them away, wanting to be on her own instead of surrounded by chamber-maids.

Alyssa continued singing the heard a familiar voice. She smiled and turned to see Asbel. She looked around first to see if there were any guards and when there weren't she smiled. "Good morning Asbel" she said. "It looks like you slept well" she said a smile still on her face. She continued to wash as she looked at him. "You're sister is out in the garden" she told him but kept checking for guards every now and then not wanting anyone to get in any trouble for talking to her.

"I did, what about yourself? I do hope the servant's quarters aren't too horrible. My parents refuse to make any changes, which makes things hard to deal with at times," Asbel said, smiling to her at the same time. Asbel knew that Elyon was in the garden, and he knew that no guards or other maids would walk into the Laundry room or the hallway. His personal guard, Karsander, was keeping the area off-limits.

Karsander was the one guard that Alyssa could trust, since he was one of the genuine gentlemen of the Bethel kingdom. Karsander knew of the friendship between the maid and the Prince, yet said nothing. Karsander felt it was not wrong to befriend a maid, as long as it didn't develop into anything more. The risks of love were much higher, and deadlier, than friendship.

Alyssa sighed and relaxed knowing she was being paranoid again. "I slept fine. I'm used to my room. I have lived in it since I could start doing chores" she said and stopped doing the laundry so they could actually talk. She wiped her hands on her uniform. "Asbel...why do the servants hate me so much?" she asked him again. She just didn't understand what she could have done to them to make them hate her. She grew up just like they did and did the same things they did. She never made herself any better than they were.

{OoC} I have some threads in this Guild that don't have any posts. One is a Pirate themed one (Hoist The Colors) in the Mystery/Adventure subforum and the other is a Vampire themed one (Red Moon Rising) in the supernatural subforum. Would it be too much to ask if you'd give it a look? {/OoC}

Asbel rubbed the back of his neck and sighed, frowning all the while. "Well, I don't really know why. Maybe they're just jealous of you or something, so they want to treat you horribly," he said, as he looked at his pocket-watch. He had to be at breakfast with his sister and parents in twenty minutes, so he had time to spare.

Elyon walked into the Laundry room and smiled to Alyssa. "Morning," she said to Alyssa, before looking to her brother. "We have to be at breakfast soon, so make sure to be at the Dining Hall early enough. And make sure to walk in with Karsander, it will be less suspicious if you're alone with him then on your own in general. I'll be with my assistant, Evelyn." she said, and left after that.

Asbel thanked his sister as she left, and turned his attention back to Alyssa. He could still talk with her for a few more minutes at least. But his sister was right, if his parents suspected anything, Alyssa could be in a lot of trouble. It could even result in a beating, or worse.

{OoC} Okay the Vampire one seems very interesting I like your characters. I havent has a chance to look at the pirate one yet but I will.
Alyssa nodded. "Sorry it was just on my mind" she said and looked up when Elyon came in. She bowed her head since she wasnt as close to her as Asbel and she was older than her. "Good Morning Elyon" she said and smiled. She listened as she spoke to Asbel and went back to washing the laundry. She looked back up at Asbel. "I understand Asbel. You can leave already if you need to. I wouldn't want to cause any problems" she told him. Asbel was her best friend but she knew her boundaries.

Stephen walked through the castle briskly, searching all the rooms, and hallways. Every corner he knew of, he'd visited. "God, where is he?" he muttered, behind him Tegan followed him patiently. The guard kept up with Stephen quite easily despite his quick pace. As she followed the prince, she watched all the people that passed by. "You're not keeping his location secret from me, are you Tegan?" the prince asked suspiciously all of a sudden. He looked at her with a suspicious glare and she looked back with a bored expression. ". . . Right, i'd know by now if you knew... silly me," he huffed, taking off again.

Finally, the pair came around just the right corner, and spotted him. "You!" Stephen shouted, pointing at his twin. "Why are you so hard to find?!" he asked Vladimir as he walked up to him. Tegan nodded her acknowledgement to the other prince as she followed Stephen, and shortly after doing so went back to watching the rest of the passersby.

People say you never know what you have until it’s gone, but what if you lose someone you never knew? Sebastian asked himself this every year on his birthday. He lay on his bed as he thought about the story he had heard over and over again. He was too young to recall what actually happened the day his dear twin sister was taken from him and his family. He knew he had a bond with his sister, for he grew up with the empty feeling that always made his heart ache. He vowed to train hard and long to get revenge on whoever stole his sister from him and to return her home where she belongs. Many often figured she was dead but Sebastian knew she wasn’t. If she was, he would never allow himself to believe it, even if his brothers did. He often mourned and stayed up late at night unable to sleep with the overwhelming emptiness he felt. He planned day and night looking over maps and trying to figure out what places he could search for his sister.

He lay there in a futile position. He hated that part of him that was gone and left him empty. He rose and walked over to his window, leaning against it. He looked outside into the forest and closed his eyes. “Happy birthday sis,” he said in a whisper. Then, he looked away from the window and walked to his dresser grabbing a black button down shirt and some dark pants. He got dressed and sighed knowing his brothers were probably awake and together just as they always were.

Vladimir, Prince Asbel, Karsander, & Princess Elyon

Asbel left shortly after with Karsander walking along behind him. The two men walked to the Dining Hall, where Elyon and their parents were waiting. Asbel strode to his seat and sat down, in silence. Karsander and Elyon's guard, a man named Ritchen, stood in the corner of the room.

Elyon also waited for her parents to do their usual morning speech before they would receive their food. It was the usual rant of Bethel being more important and far more superior than Azeron. Both children had heard the story every day since they were born.
☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★

Vladimir turned from the window and looked at Stephen. He flicked his black hair from his red eyes and sighed. "Brother, apologies. I didn't mean to be so hard to find," he whispered and shook his sadness away, "I seemed to have been lost in my thoughts." Nodding his head to Tegan as a sign of respect, he stepped down the hallway. He stopped as he turned to face his brother, "well, are you coming along? Best we find Sebastian and see how he's faring on this day."

Stephen sighed and tried to calm down, it wasn't Vladimir's fault he'd gotten a frantic call from the village in the middle of the night. Several of the houses had caught fire, and the wind had been against him, so it took multiple elements and a lot of control to get it under control. Even though Tegan held the maids of two hours longer than normal, he still was grumpy from lack of sleep. "I shouldn't have snapped, i'm sorry too," he admitted. "Yeah, let's go find 'im! Hope he's not mad that I passed practice today," Stephen mulled. Tegan tried not to watch Vladimir too much, but even what little she saw made her throat clench. "I hope these brothers do something soon, or they'll rot away from grief," she thought sadly. Though her facial expression didn't change, her jaw twitched slightly. She followed along as Stephen and Vladimir went off to find their youngest brother.

Scarlett

Scarlett walked down the halls, her sword swinging by her side. She turned the corner and headed for Sebastain's room. It was the missing princesses birthday today, the day her brother always mourned on. She knew better than to expect him to do any princely duties, but she couldn't let him stay cooped up in his room either. She eventually made it to his room and knocked softly on his door, "Sebastain, i'm coming" she said, as she waited a few seconds. She then opened the door and saw him dressed in all dark colors. She gave him a sad glance, but then walked over "Is there anything I can do, anything you need?" she said, standing behind him. She never knew if Sebastain actually liked her company or not. Sometimes it felt like he never knew she existed, he was obsessed with finding his sister. Of course she didn't blame him, they were twins after all. She had her arms behind her back and she waited for a response. She didn't expect one, considering what day it was. She looked at him, "happy birthday Sebastain" she whispered, knowing he probably couldn't hear her anyways.

Alyssa went back to doing the laundry and sang a happy little song. A happy feeling emitting in everyone in the kingdom. She hung the laundry to dry knowing the king and queen were giving their usual speech. She wondered why they hated Azeron so much. She heard stories of how perfect it used to be but no one would tell her anymore than that.

Sebastian closed his curtains the room becoming dark once again. He walked over to the painting over the fireplace in his room of his family when it was complete. They wanted to take it out of his room but he refused to have it removed. Sebastian heard Scarlett enter his room. He shook his head softly when she asked if he needed anything. Sebastian was more emotionless today than any other day. He turned to sit in the large arm chair in front of the fireplace. "There is nothing happy about it was all he said when she wished him happy birthday. He supposed her company was nice. His parents felt he should not be alone. That it would not be good for him.

Scarlett

Scarlett looked at him, of course he didn't want her company. He usually wanted to be alone, "I brought you some breakfast, won't you at least eat that?" She asked, as she got the tray and set it down on the table. He needed to at least eat something so he didn't feel sick later in the day. She tried so many times to try and cheer him up, but most if it was meaningless. Nothing she ever did was enough to make him smile. It was kind of sad, she had never seen him smile before and she wanted him to be happy. His parents thought she could get him to be a little happier, but she thought she made it worse since he didn't really warm up to her at all. Scarlett stood their quietly, "I'll leave your food here... I just be outside your door if you need anything" she whispered, before she truned and left. She shut his door softl behind her and she sighed. Her back was against the wall and her hands were at her sides, "I'm not sure I'm cut out for this... I don't even think I'm any help either" she said, depressed.
