The Hourglass
The Hourglass
Below the Temple is the infamous Hourglass.
The Hourglass fuels the life of this world.
The Hourglass is quiet literally an hourglass. It's composed of solidified sand with a layer of dense reishi. The frame of the large glass is wooden and is attached to the earth around it.
The sand inside of the hourglass is silver and glows with a rainbow hue.
Above the hourglass is a platform that is used for the sacrifices.
This place is known only by the Rogues.

Guard of Madness
Ashi limped from a black rift using his dimensional step. He was limping being in pain and using his energy to hold his torn up torso from bleeding into the sands below. His right arm was missing all together the wound seemed to seared close where his arm once was. In his good hand an orb of blood held by his reiatsu floated from his hand and hovered over the platform's edge. Ashi happily let his control of the orb go to drop the blood in one big sploosh on the sands. Ashi swayed side to side trying to gain equilibrium before he fell off the platform and hit the ground below next to the hourglass of course. He just lay there looking at the sky.
He concetrated his reiatsu to burn the open wound on his chest closed. The pain was unbearable. After the effect he lay arms outstretched and panting heavily.
"Two...... We got two." He muttered to himself. Steam rolled off his body and he took a nice long sigh. He leaned back and closed his eyes. One would think him dead if he wasn't snoring with a snot bubble inflating and deflating from his nostril. He lay in a small puddle of his own blood a stump where his arm was and his chest burnt, no longer bleeding the blood was when he landed. If he knew how close he was to death.... He would laugh hysterically.

Just having completed the sacrifice of Gluttony, Kushina stepped out from behind the Hourglass. The sand inside it had not yet begun to flow, but it was glowing with a soft golden radiance now. With the addition of the third sacrifice of Wrath, it was slowly growing with more power. Upon feeling someone enter, she spotted Ashi on the ground, in a puddle of blood. With a short gasp, she quickly Shunpoed over, checking his vitals. Still alive. "s**t, i've been careless." she growled, checking over his wounds. Nocella, probably. There were no sword wounds on his body, so it couldn't have been Atsuhiko. Fuming, she swore vengeance on her. Apparently, not even three rogues against two captain class Shinigami were enough. Leaving her comrades to fight alone had been a mistake, but she had business to take care of. Now, they were only awaiting one more sacrifice. Could Hakora and Tsuriko handle themselves? But if she left, she risked exposing the Hourglass to the two intruders, as well as leaving Ashi defenseless. With a sigh of impatience, she realized that she had no choice but to wait here for their safe return. Damn reapers.

When Kushina spoke Ashi's eyes popped open. He glanced looking back with his eyes to see the glorious leader standing there!
"Kehee! I'm not so good at holding back. Wrath lady didn't die and I got her blood, had to to take a hit head on to get it. But I've burnt a lot of my nerve endings to keep me from bleeding so I can't really move. Oh! I also lost my robes with my equipment so I can't heal like I normally can. If we can get someone to bring me two syringes of a dark blue and black liquid I can be ok within an hour. Fully healed at around two." Ashi explained calmly. He was in pain and couldn't move yet he was speaking in his normal tone.
"I did have very much fun. Hope I did well leader. Somewhere in the clouds I last saw her. Next time I'll simply kill rather than draw out the fight on purpose. Sorry to worry you leader but believe it or not this pain is oh so much fun. Not being able to move stinks like trash though." He explained. He wasn't sure how he was going to get moving. He figured six hours like this and he could get moving enough to go to his own room. Which was in fact a laboratory and heal there.

((Sorry for the double post! Ashi is my only character in this guild so I'm gonna move him along here. I know Mochii is busy so I'll move my character from this spot.))
Ashi saw that Kushina was upset rather than happy they got another sacrifice. Poor little guy little all distraught from this, his face went to a sudden frown.
It seems leader is upset.....
It's cause we're bleeding all over the floor.
"Were, I cauterized the wounds." Ashi seemingly mumbled to his voices.
That's a jolly smart word for ya..... Wait your text is green. Your the other one who keeps popping up.
"Ah, and me actually talking with you means I just got really upset. Gotta keep trying till I get things right." Ashi replied. He didn't say anything to Kushina as he pulled himself up. Black reiatsu swirled around his legs and spine.
It was his version of a quincy technique where reiatsu is controlled to force the body to move. Though the movement is slow compared to the battle capable version, designed to allowed Ashi to his devices to heal him instead. Ashi had energy to spare but his body was torn to hell. He wouldn't be able to fight for a moment but.... If the science captain was the same b***h she always was then Ashi was about to give her a run for her money... Technical wise that is. His ability to fight is not nearly as twisted as his ability to think and plan and willingness to break every code of morality for knowledge made mad scientist look like pretend doctors
"While the less capable me is out and silent I can continue the second part of my intrusion of Sereitei. I would bow in respect and apologize for leaving blood on the floor but...... Instead I'll prove it by engaging whoever is the current twelve captain. If it is still Naoto I will have much fun. It was her that found me snooping in her files. She along with the head captain.... Rather than letting me die sent me out to suffer......" That was all he said. He spoke calm but his grin was twisted, his eyes were wide and his teeth gnashed a few times with excitement..... He will fix his failure, and have oh so much fun doing so. Not moving a rift opened below him took him to his room/ laboratory.((Exit))
