There are sooooooooo many musical acts out there now a days and sometimes when they aren't as well known as we would like them to be we as fans must do some shameless plugging every now and again. well my friends this is the place to do it smile
post the name of the band, other general information, and a music/lyric video with one or two of their songs

My shameless plug!!! biggrin
This band is Marianas Trench.
they started around 2006 and since then have 3 albums filled with 4 part harmonies smile
starting from the sleepy little town of Vancouver Canada they have gone from 604 records (which features artists like Anami vice, Jessica lee, fighting for Ithaca, and Carly Rae Jepsen) to Cherry Tree Records in L.A. (which features artists such as LMFAO, La Roux, Ellie Goulding, and Far East Movement)

they have come a long way and have evolved over these years and they never fail to astound me with each of their albums!

One of my favorite bands is a folk-rock/pop act called The Mountain Goats (I probably have twenty or so "favorite acts"). They've gone through periods of being essentially a one-man-band (led by brilliant singer-songwriter John Darnielle), but as off the past six years or so, they've solidified a line-up. Anyway, this song has been on my mind today:
