...The Land of the Lost...
Rouge Temple
Outside Main Forum
The temple of the Rogues is located on several floating rocks way above the ground. The temple itself is very aged and filled with vegetation that crows on the marble. The forum of the temple is somewhat steep and has several cracks on its surface. The temple itself is at the center. A giant golden Buddha statue sits, now chipped and worn, under an opening in the ceiling. The Hourglass is settled deep below this temple. ---

Ashi Kyouki Guard of Madness "Keeeheee...." A raspy cackle made its way from the shadows. From the corner a man fully clad in flowing black robes. Sandals woven of rope were on his feet, it was obvious to see he had slacks on under the robes. Hands and most of his face were hidden by the garments showing only a very wide, very wicked smile. Each step he took he swayed his body weight from one foot to the other causing a drunk looking walk. He wasn't paying attention and walked right into a railing of the upper floor. His body flipped right over the bar and he seemingly fell. Yet he never hit ground he floated right there in place now laughing aloud.
"This room looks so familiar..... Where have I seen such layout...." He said randomly. This person had been here for some time now and yet he always talks to himself about new things in the temple, that aren't actually new. It's the floor plan of the Kuja dungeon from final fantasy nine A voice in his head rang in his ears. "Huh so that's it. I don't know what the hell that is. Never played many video games." Ashi said to himself. His left eye looking cold and dead looking lazily around while he floated upside down right next to the railing he almsot dropped from. What never played? You spent seven hours in one sitting on one the other day. "Shhhhhh! Don't tell me that. If I know I might go insane.... Oh wait too late." He said aloud. The pake skinned man with black hair and eyes then dropped his air walk and fell to the ground with a thud.
At first he spent a few moments not moving. Until he started to squirm in his spot making hardly an audible sound. "Keeeheee..... Keheheheheeee..... Kyahahahahahahahaha!!!" The laughter rang. I guess this is why he is madness? One of the voices commented We all are...... Another responded. All in his head? Yup. "I have been soooooo bored..... Madness? Oh yes Kyouki..... Madness is my middle name!" Ashi chimed. You don't have a middle name. The leader might be using us soon. are there any good taco joints around here? Ashi ignored the voices for now and stood from his spot where he landed with a horrible thud. Muscles popped and he rolled his neck from side to side making more popping sounds with his body.
He was walking up the steps most likely to drop himself off the ledge yet again. "Maybe I'll drop head first this time. The strong floors are wonderful for playing jump on the hard floor." I still want tacos..... "I wonder what's for dinner? Yum yums I hope."

Upon hearing noise, Kushina opened her eyes from her sitting position in the Temple. She had been taking a small nap after her trip to the World of the Living. Sensing the reiatsu of one of her comrades, she immediately knew it was Ashi. He was the only one who talked to himself out of the blue. While he was eccentric, she held all her comrades dear to her heart. After all, that was her only reason for living. Stretching like a cat before standing up, she went outside to greet one of her guard. "Ashi. What brings you here?" she said, stopping at the top of the steps. Her tone was merely curious, as not many of the Time Rogues cared to visit the temple. Though it was a sacred place, many of the rogues decided to be elsewhere in Euthoria. The only reason Kushina was here, was to offer their first sacrifice to the Hourglass. After having killed one of the Captains that had been patrolling the human world, she had collected his blood as the first offering. One down, six more sacrifices to go, and the Hourglass would activate. Of course, they couldn't be just any ordinary sacrifices. The offered blood would have to come from someone that reeked of evil, embodying one of the seven deadly sins. The one she had just collected had been Pride.

Tsuriko ▽ Guard of Destruction △ ❝Take this then, my rage, my hate, and all of my sorrow!❞ ─────────────────────────────────── Tsuriko usually avoided spending too much time near the temple, and prefered the ruins of the old world, as they fit her desires a lot better, and there wasn't much out there that anyone cared if she played with. She got bored after all, and the endless space of the cityscape was perfect for some target practice. Still she had been following her Leader today, instead of creating some chaos in the city proper. She was most entertained already, but to see one of her fellows that she avoided more so than not here was a bit unsettling.
She had no personal problems with the Guard of Madness, except for the fact that he was about as stable, as an active volcano. Though, she considered in retrospect, many would say the same about her when she was angry. Shaking the idea off, not wanting to compare psychosis with a man who was literally a walking, talking hive of psychosis, she instead prowled closer to the object of her affections, and making sure to mask her energy the whole time she'd been watching, she smiled devilishly. She'd been still for too long now, I mean she must have been sitting still for a while now, like twenty minutes or something like that. She preferred to be moving.
It was only a moment after Kushina had spoke to Ashi that she suddenly pounced from the shadows. "Ku-shi-na-sama!" she called out before playfully glomping her target from behind, and happily wrapping her arms around her with a smile. She as she always did when she managed to get in this position, clung on as if her life depended on it, basking in the object of her affection's presence with a childish smile on her face, and light flush in her cheeks. It was one of the few times she smiled when things weren't on fire somewhere. ─────────────────────────────────── ❝Take it all and burn!❞

Before Ashi even had a chance to reply, Kushina felt Tsuriko sneaking up on her. Despite having impressively masked her Reiryoku. she was dealing with the former Second Division Captain and Commander-in-Chief of the Onmitsukido. Even so, she allowed herself to get knocked to the floor in a tackle hug, nearly rolling down the steps with Tsuriko. Giving off a laugh as she upped her reiatsu a tad to soften the fall, she just nearly avoided earning herself a concussion. "Riko. Glad to see you too." she chuckled, patting her head like an older sister. All of her comrades were precious to her, and she had no qualms about acting like their big sister and taking care of them. Charismatic and friendly as always, she never missed a chance to associate with her guard. Pushing herself into a sitting position, she glanced over at Ashi. "Sorry to break the atmosphere so soon, but I want to tell you this before I forget. We'll be taking a trip to the Soul Society soon, to deliver the carcass of Captain Ishtar to the Captain Commander. They need to know we're back in business, and we need sacrifices for the Hourglass. The Gotei has plenty of sinners to choose from." she smirked.
Dropping the serious tangent attitude, she got to her feet, pulling Tsuriko up with her. Dusting herself off, she gave a light sigh of content. "How've you been Riko? I haven't seen you in a while." she remarked. Between her duties of maintaining the Hourglass, gathering sacrifices, and recruiting more Time Rogues, she hadn't had much time with her current guard at all. It was disappointing, but sometimes work and family had to be balanced out. She couldn't very well just up and abandon her dreams, as well as the dreams of her guard as well. As the leader, she had things to uphold. The deceased comrades of her past were no exception. Creating her utopia was something that needed to be done, regardless of circumstances. She had sacrificed much to do so, and so had her guard.

Ashi Kyouki Guard of Madness Ashi wasn't surprised to suddenly hear the voice of his beloved leader. Why are we here again? One of the voices rang in his head. I think we were playing a game.... why are we in the temple? Another voice retorted. "Shhh! Leader is here. Give respect." Ashi said in a hushed and harsh tone to seemingly no one. His attention was fully on Kushina. Pulling his hood back the sleeves rolled back to show scars all over his hands with pointed black finger nails. His right siade of his face had the symbol of the hour glass. From eye to chin with the sign centered on his cheek. His eyes held no real emotion except for admiration for Kushina. His hair was mangled and twisted pointing every which way.
He bowed in respect letting his arms drape like pendulums in the process. He looked up with a child looking grin. "My lady, it has been so looong since we were let lose. All of us are eagerly waiting to complete your goals yet no orders were given." Ashi stopped and sniffed at the air around Kushina. The we and us were his voices, not the other guards. Speaking of which the other one embracing the Leader made Ashi frown for a moment. It's Destruction! Tell that whore to get off the leader! Use monkey kung fu on her! "I don't know kung fu......" Ashi said to himself "My, I thought it was in my head people were looking at me. Was our rampant little hell cannon sneaking around? No matter ninjas are sooooo cool! Kyahahahahaha!!!" Ashi said. This was his way of saying hello for now
"Ah, a kill was made recently. I smell blood around you." Ashi grinned. Blood?! I want some! Me too! "Keeeheeeee..... Blood...... Ah, if me being here bothers you then I shall take my leave. I honestly forgot completely why I'm here." Ashi said finally answering the question. We were playing "Oh right bounce on the hard floor! It's a fun game I'm trying to break a bone right now. I can fix it." Maybe..... "Shhhh!"
There was silence about the new orders. Ashi let out a girlish squeal and ran around in circles with his hands in the air. He took a leap off the railing and a loud thud was heard. In an instance Ashi ran his way back up the steps. He snapped a dislocated arm back in place with a horrid laugh. He rotated the just broken arm around laughing. "Are we allowed to say hello to a few of them?" Ashi asked. When he says hello to any shinigami he prefers to speak to their corpse.

Kushina smiled. "Please, Ashi, you are among a friend. Though I may be the first Time Rogue, and the leader, we stand as equals. Do not feel the need to pay respects to me." she said dismissively. She didn't think herself as some kind of God to be worshiped, nor did she feel like she had any redeeming qualities that would put her above other people. Kushina was merely a figurehead of a future for the others, and nothing more. She might call the shots around here, but that was only when needed. Past her ambitions for their utopia, she left her members alone. Watching Ashi bounce around the area, she gave a light chuckle. Despite being her most eccentric member, she still valued him. He was the personification of why she wanted her utopia in the first place. A place where no one would change or die, and not be judged. Not everyone could help their mental issues in the first place. Schizophrenia being one of them.
"Of course." she said, smiling at Ashi's last question. "My inside sources have told me that they are soon to discover Hueco Mundo. A discovery that big will entail a Captain's Meeting for sure. We will crash their party to deliver our news. I'd love to meet the new Captains as well. They had to replace quite a few, because of the Great Ash War. I'm sure some of them will be worthy sacrifices for the Hourglass." she smirked. Of course, that would require information, and information was what Kushina was best in. Figuring out the Captain's personalities and strongest deadly sin would be a pain in the a**, but she had her ways. "We're only dropping in for a short visit though. If you have a bone to pick with someone, make it quick. I'd hate to see any of you get hurt. I hear the Captains have upped their standards these days." she frowned. It was a cause for worry, since the Gotei had three hundred years of training while she had been trapped away by the previous Captain Commander, after a close stalemate of the war. Of course, once the Hourglass activated and their powers increased tenfold, that wouldn't be a problem. The only issue here was gathering the necessary blood sacrifices.

Tsuriko ▽ Guard of Destruction △ ❝Take this then, my rage, my hate, and all of my sorrow!❞ ─────────────────────────────────── Tsuriko smiled as she landed with her beloved leader, smiling the whole way, completely oblivious to the world for a moment until she heard Kushina speak, and she merely melted a bit when she felt Kushina's hand on her head, and she quietly made a chirp-like giggle of both pleasure, and enjoyment for less corporeal reasons. Still she knew it wasn't the kinda of attention she desire, but she'd been away for so long! She quietly wrapped herself around Kushina and listened as she spoke.
Her eyes narrowed and a vicious smile crossed her lips. She hated the Shinigami, and a chance to remind them of what happened last time they tussled would be so wonderful...she could feel her cheeks flushing, she was getting way too excited over the image of the Seireitei burning. She didn't need to say anything about it all, she would attend, and if they tried any funny business she would burn anything that dare to try and stop them.
Tsuriko blinked again and flushed at the nickname again, happily snuggling into Kushina before responding. "You know me, I was bored so I decided to go out to the old ruins and have some fun...and...I just didn't stop for a while. I didn't really pay attention to how long, then I noticed I could find you more easily again, and I began the hunt for you again. You are the best catch, Kushina-sa-ma~!" she cooed out as she smiled before sighing in delight. Then she quietly hummed to herself, a song that spoke only of burnt souls, agonizing ends, and the world on fire, all somehow bent into a happy sounding tune.
"Don't worry, Onee-sama, I won't let anyone get hurt while we are there. After all, they might be a little distracted~." her smiled was infectious, and she planned to burn everything that got in the way of their goals, but of course, she couldn't just kill those they needed for sacrifices, but a bit of property damage never stopped anyone, and if some lame weaklings got caught up in the cross-fire? Oh well~─────────────────────────────────── ❝Take it all and burn!❞

"Ah, yes. About my little disappearance." she started. "I had business to attend to, and happened to stumble upon Captain Ishtar who was on his patrols. After a brief skirmish, he fell in battle and I managed to get our first sacrifice. Now that Pride is done with, we only have to find six more. Once they know of our return, the sacrifices will be no menial task. I plan to bring them onto home turf, where we have the advantage. While this plan is indeed risky, as it gives them access to the Hourglass as well, we would not last a war of attrition by weeding out the sacrifices one by one. I find it best that they send the goods over to us, where we can easily overwhelm their forces. After all, the Captain Commander cannot leave the Soul Society without permission, and she certainly can't send that big of an attack force without creating a hole in the Seireitei's defenses." she said, explaining her most logical plan of attack. If everything worked out as planned, it would be taking candy from a baby.
Kushina stretched and yawned, obviously tired from her run in the human world. "Well, we have plenty of free time to kill while waiting for that Captain's Meeting to come around. Anyone care for food? I picked up some stuff in the human world." she said, briefly walking back inside the Temple before coming back out with a plastic bag filled with goods. It was full of food that she had stolen from stores, due to her lack of a Gigai. Not that she had any money to spend in the first place, anyways. It seemed odd that she had gone food shopping after having just killed a Shinigami Captain, but her years as the Onmitsukido Commander had taught her better. She had been forced to learn how to compartmentalize with her job, and she was nowhere near afraid of getting her hands dirty. To her, another death had just been a natural occurrence. Soon though, death would no longer have to be a reality in her world. "I'm beat! Let's see what we have here..." she said sitting down right there on the steps, and pulling out the first thing her fingers came in contact with. A teriyaki chicken bento. Snapping the wooden chopsticks in half, she tossed the bag to the floor. "Have at it guys." she said, digging in to her lunch. She had skipped sleep and dinner last night, as well as breakfast this morning.

Tsuriko ▽ Guard of Destruction △ ❝Take this then, my rage, my hate, and all of my sorrow!❞ ─────────────────────────────────── Tsuriko unsnaked herself from around Kushina with a small smile. She happily took one of the boxed lunches quietly saying thanks before digging in wholeheartedly. She ate for a moment and taking everything into consideration as she devoured the food, and then looked to Kushina with a smile. She had a nasty idea, should their predictions be wrong and they decide to try to overwhelm them.
Setting her food down for a moment, her eyes seemed to sparkle a bit as she spoke. "On the off chance that they do send all their big guns, I could always skip over to their court and give them a big reason to retreat back home, in a burning conflagration that would consume their entire world. Thus pulling some of the pressure off of here, as they would need to deal with little old me~!" she said in a sing-song tone before picking up her plate with a pleased look on her face.

Ashi Kyouki Guard of Madness Ashi was silent for a moment. He seemed to be pouting that Tsuriko was all over the great leader. She's doing it again! Poke her in the eye or something! Can we? Leader likes her. Punch her in the baby maker! "No, your right and.... Ewww, that, gross. Kinda dirty...... I'll do that to a shinigami or something. Kyahahaha!" Ashi responded to each voice.
He was silent the moment Kushina started speaking. The plan as always was sound. Ashi naturally started to think the plan through and found few to no flaws. "Teeheeee. We can use an advance party. Not to kill, but spectate how they move and react to us crashing their little get together. We got a captain how lovely! How'd you do it? Stab him? Run your hand through? Beat his face in? Burn his insides!" Ashi began to muse. Personally I would have took out his brains with a rusty spoon. One of the voices said. "Bwahahaha! Like cereal! Brains, rusty spoon, how glorious!" Ashi said. He snapped back to on topic, standing at attention and doing a quick bow. "Ah, sorry Jack told the funniest way to kill a man. As I was saying we weed out the ones that hold the highest quantity of the sin we desire. I'm willing to put a strong tack on someone in the science division being greedy for knowledge. We only have pride......" Ashi said
Your thinking too much again! We're about to explode from you thinking too much! Ashi fell backwards and started rolling on the ground going into a tantrum. "Owey pazowey! Thought cramp! Blah blah blippity boop pa! Rebooting....." He said rolling about. He was flailing like a child for a few seconds and then stopped perfectly still. He made a deep sigh with a big ol' sigh mark leaving his mouth. Did he die? Wouldn't we be dead? I think so. Who are you? The voices went on Ashi's head like that while he lay silent. Twas the mention of food which brought his lifeless trance to life.
He sprung up on his knees with his hands clasped together, his eyes were wide and literally had stars in them. He scooted to the bag on his knees an almost literally dived into the bag. He rustled around and pulled a sandwich out holding it between his teeth. His sharpened fangs broke through the plastic which he started to eat through to get to the sandwich. When he completely devoured his meal in what looked like and instant he walked over on all fours and curled up like a dog next to Kushina. He gave a victorious smirk over to Tsuriko.

Kushina laughed. "I know you're all excited to have a go at the Gotei. As for testing the Captains, that's why we're crashing the Captain's Meeting. Once we return and accurately gauge their strengths, you will be free to send out blitzkrieg attacks on them. We can slowly chip away at their defenses, while they have no way to enter Euthoria. Of course, I plan to change that later and bring them onto home turf, but that's not until we secure our offerings." she said, downing the rest of her meal. Tossing the plastic box inside, she drew out a small dagger and started carving into the side of the temple pillar. She first listed the seven deadly sins, and then crossed out pride. "Hm...let's see." she said, mumbling to herself. "Pride is gone. As for Wrath, I know an old friend who would work perfectly for it. Same goes for Sloth." Kushina said, crossing both of them out too. "As for Lust...I think we can count on Tsuriko for that?" she said, turning to her with a raised eyebrow, as if asking for permission. "That only leaves Gluttony, Greed, and Envy. I'm not too familiar with the Twelfth Division's Captain, but we'll explore the possibility of Greed. Unfortunately, I don't fit the requirements of any of the sins myself." she sighed, sheathing her dagger as she spun her wooden chopsticks between her fingers.
Leaning back against the pillar, she tilted her head to the side. "I suppose we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Oh, and if you wanted to see or analyze the Captain's carcass, it's inside the temple. Just make sure not to mutilate it beyond recognition. We want his face to at least be intact when we give him back to the Gotei." she said absentmindedly. "I wonder how our old friends are doing. They'll be preoccupied with finding a new Captain though. It's the Five-En that worry me." she sighed. In the past Great Ash War, the Five-En had been five warriors that had significantly turned the tide of the battle. Currently, they were Kushina's biggest worry. While she did not doubt the fighting capabilities of any of her comrades, they had lost the war once before. The same thing couldn't, and wouldn't, happen again this time around.

Hakora Kensai Guard of Despair Time Rouge
"Nothing more dangerous then a man who has nothing to lose."
Hakora pushed open the door and walked into the temple. He could hear the low rumble of voices except one that was a bit louder then the other. He assumed it to be Ashi since it wasn't shutting up for long. He lifted his hand to his nose and grabbed the dust mask and lowered to revealed his face. His face didn't look a day over 23 in human years, but in fact he was over a thousand years old. The most noticeable feature were his eyes, one being blue and the other red. After getting a good stretch he headed towards the voices until they got louder and below him. He walked into view above the stairs and against the railing. He leaned both elbows on the railing and looked down at his comrades. There was Ashi, arguing with himself, but even the Guard of Maddess before him did that. Then there was the Guard of Destruction. She very much intrigued Hakora, a being that is the embodiment of destruction and yet she can act so happy and even carefree.[ Though this didn't surprise him, Hakora was Despair and yet he was happy and free. Sometimes the the cover and the book don't match, but the book as a whole is great. Then there was her, his rescuer. Hundreds of years ago, he was lost in his Despair and she saved him and showed him how to use it She was his oldest friend and he would die for her. To most she was known as the leader Kushina, but he knew her as the beautiful desert fox.
He listened in silence to her speak of what she had killed and what her plans were. The plan to him sounded like it had a huge flaw. If a large force entered here, would 3 or 4 Rouges be enough? He cleared his throat revealing his position even if they knew he was there. "Not to argue Kushina, but doesn't the risk out weigh the reward here? Why not weaken them first from within, cause division? So when they come here we can separate and pick them off? It seems no matter the force they send we will be outnumbered. Only a thought really, nothing more." Hakora then vaulted the railing and jumped to the floor they all stood on and landed with no sound. He walked over to the food and grabbed some pizza and ate it as he faced his comrades. "So you killed a captain, did you? I must have missed the invite to that party, though you seem to like to fight without me a lot." Hakoras primary duty was to serve and follow orders, but he never missed a chance to tease Kushina. "Is it just me, or does ths new temple look like something from Final Fantasy?"
"Before you die, you will know the pain I felt."

Ashi Kyouki Guard of Madness "Bwehehehe..... Despair is here. I like this, more to crash the party..... It's starting isn't it. The meeting? Have they gathered? I wanna see. Weave the web.... Sticky, sticky web! I'm the spider no water in my spout to wash me out. Little spirit reapers caught in sticky web Kyahahahahaha! I'm hungry for some absolute...... Madness....." He spoke. Ashi had jumped up by this point getting all excited over all this planning. He waved his arms about and hugged his body ever so slightly. The long robes made him seem to be covered in long flowing drapes. Hey the pretty boy has a complaint. Doesn't he know our leader is perfect? He might have a point.
"Like hell he does, our plain is not of normal understanding. That's why I don't know where I am half the time. The icky shinigami come here, home field advantage. Send them off to the place where those flying things in the sky can eat them. They don't have dimensional stepping." Ashi spoke more calmly. He looked off in to the distance when speaking.
Ashi pulled the hood over his head again revealing only a wicked smile. "Now then I'll check on their..... Meeting. If enough have gathered I'll come calling. Jack, Batty, Sue and myself will hide in shadows allllll nice and sneaky like.. They don't know I can use powers to just pop up. Like those fun little children books." Ashi said 3D card board but out style! Ashi didn't really wait for a reply but simply activated his Dimensional step. Once again though loyal, Ashi has proved spontaneous. He wanted to make announce the appearance of his beloved leader and Goddess to these worms.((Off to the meeting!))

Kushina brightened as her oldest friend arrived. "Hakora! It's wonderful to see you." she said, sauntering over to give him a hug. Her very first Time Rogue, he had fought with her in the Great Ash War and was her oldest comrade. She cherished him like a brother of sorts, and was her most trusted companion. Listening to his concerns, Kushina merely smiled. "The whole reason we are going to their Captain Meeting is to launch a surprise attack. Don't worry, I have everything planned out. If everything goes according to plan, we will gain two, or even three, additional sacrifices. I plan to have a quick in quick out. Though there is one concern." she said, turning towards the rest of her Time Rogues. "When leaving, it is vital that the Captains don't find the way into our realm just yet. If they charge us all at once, we will not be able to handle their full scale attack. Be wary when opening a portal to leave." she cautioned.
Upon watching Ashi and his hurry to leave, Kushina merely smiled. "Alright, the meeting is about to start. I suggest we make a rush for it. Remember what I told you guys." she said, commenting on her battle plans. "If you want to fight, now's the time." she said, smirking at Hakora's quip.
