Looking to do something where students train under a master, possibly each in their own specialties, their master knowing many skills, from swordsmanship, to ninjutsu, to magic. I'm not really demanding on who plays the role of the master, but if I have to, I can do a master and a student. They all have their own troubled pasts, but working together, if not always getting along, they continue to survive and overcome any challenges. Done an rp like this before, but it died because the people became inactive.

Kuromaus If you don't mind doing another one with me, I'd love to do this. I have a perfect character for this. ^^ That's entirely fine. I have a couple characters I use for this, but do you wanna do a one-on-one rp, or wait for a group? Also, do you prefer to be an apprentice or master?

Well, the character I'd like to use, would be more suited for the master. I've used him before in master/apprentice situations. 3nodding But I can also be an apprentice, if that's needed, so your apprentice would have a fellow disciple etc. XD
I'm fine with either one-on-one or a group. I don't know if anyone else would join, though. We can wait and see?

I have my own world all figured out and spelled out that would be perfect for this, but it is like your RP idea so it could be your world. XD

This one is sort of a mix of things from fantasy settings. Mostly ships for getting across long distances, but the more wealthy, or tech savvy, have built airships to get across long distances quicker. They require special power sources to keep active, relying on Star Dust, a black space metal. Star Dust is a long lasting metal, and can work as a fuel. However, when magically worked, can make great armor or weapons. It is very heavy in moderate amounts, but even after being used up as a fuel, it can still be used for gear. Magic flame draws out its magic energies, but the less magic in it, the weaker it becomes, so there's different grades of it. Magic, swords, and crossbows are a few examples of the most widely used weapons, but there are others, including early guns.

Magic, swords, and crossbows are a few examples of the most widely used weapons, but there are others, including early guns. Mine has quite a lot of things to it. XD http://img577.imageshack.us/img577/8232/map112.pngThere's a general map for it, and names for the continents and stuff. It has a few races. There's the elves and the winged elves, which live down in Siofra. The Azuelans are a different race, which has a lot of peculiarities to it and has a lot of explanation behind them. XD But I can go into detail if you'd like. Basically they're like similar to indians, but they have their own traditions and rules and such. They also tend to have lighter hair such as gray, white, silver, even sometimes light blonde. The darker hair is for the tribes that occasionally mate with humans. There's also a much higher chance of heterochromia in practically all tribes. Liir and Samir are both desert continents. Liir is seperated into smaller countries, and each country is pretty much run by a king. Samir is run by a single king, but it has a rather large desert where a /lot/ of large creatures that are as big as 4 story buildings, or bigger. These creatures are aggressive, for the most part, so the kingdom employs knights specifically to keep these creatures in control. For crossing the desert, there are something similar to giant manta rays, that can fly at good speeds. They get along with humans just fine, and will take you anywhere in the desert, as long as you feed them and treat them nice. Dragons generally reside in Ishaal, though they can be found all over the world. Though since Ishaal is mostly dragons, no other races live there, but some other creatures do. Wyndel is basically a hillside continent. It's ruled by one kingdom, it's fairly peaceful, and it's pretty much similar to our own wilderness. Ajra has some desert, but it's mostly grasslands and it has some forests, too. Large creatures also reside there, but generally keep to themselves. Pretty much just don't go into their territory and they'd leave you alone. For the ocean, there's a special race that rides giant flying turtles. They have mages that keep up barriers for when the turtles dive in the water. They're an ancient race and generally keep to themselves. They sometimes accept outsiders inside, for only a month or two, if they give good offerings in exchange. For the population, there's a percentage that are mages, and some that aren't. About maybe 40% of people are mages, this includes the Azuelans and the elves and winged elves. The ancient race people are 100% mages. There's mages for the common elements of ice, water, fire, wind, earth, and lightning. There's also the lesser common healer mages, and even the lesser common spiritual mages. About maybe 0.001% of the population has psychic abilities. Usually people with psychic powers have a lot of trouble controlling it. There's also mermaids in the oceans, and mermen. They're commonly hunted for a potion that is able to prolong your life. Because of a few rogue mages, Liir was split in two and parts of it sunk into the ocean. Thus why you can see it's the way it is on the map. Because of this incident, mages don't have a good reputation by the non-mages. Though it's different for healer mages, those are always welcome by everybody. It's kind of like a medieval-ish kind of era. No restaurants, no refrigeration, no electricity, or things like that. Meats are kept good by keeping them in barrels of salt. Hunters and trappers are in good demand everywhere. You'll also find open air markets in a lot of the bigger towns. You won't find them in the smaller towns. Those towns are usually on the outside of a farm or ranch, or possibly both. Thus they get their food from those. I think that's all the general stuff. If we're doing an apprentice/master role, we could do a hunter/trapper kind of thing, or even go for the knights in Samir. There's also the idea of dragon hunters, too.

He also has a bit of skill in ice and wind magic, which using bows, knives, and claws. Your character, whatever race, could have found him at a young age and basically raised him, making use of his animal instincts and educating him. I also have someone for an apprentice role, named Takeo. He's one of the rare psychic mages, and has a magic artefact/staff that helps keep his powers under control. Yeah, pictures can be annoying if you don't remember how you found them. The ice region appeals more to him since he resists the cold well. And with his sense of smell, should help be able to find things that normally camouflage themselves in the snow.

Alex Trevell Sounds good, he could use the company. Yeah, pictures can be annoying if you don't remember how you found them. The ice region appeals more to him since he resists the cold well. And with his sense of smell, should help be able to find things that normally camouflage themselves in the snow. Hrm well... The only place that has ice would be parts of Azuela and parts of Siofra. It's not like our world where the bottom of the world is the coldest 24/7. Wyndell and Ishaal do get snow in the winter time, and so do parts of Liir and Samir. But for the most part, the planet has a mild/hot climate year round.

Oh, right, this isn't a class, that's why I find it interesting, lol
