Anselm was as happy as a child in a candy store as he pointed at various foods he wanted. By the time he was done choosing it was quite a hefty amount of food piled up for himself. When they got to a table to sit down at Anselm began eating like he had not eaten in days. When he heard Noriko's words about forgetting to eat the experiment paused his gorging and swallowed the mouth full of food he had. "Keep your health up....or I will get very angry if you get killed off by starvation and not by my hand" he said casually but a slight bit of worry shone in his red cat like hues enough that showed that he did care for Noriko even if it was a little bit.
Anselm knew he had developed a secret fondness over the years for the scientist though he fought against it every second. The experiment hid away his conflicting feelings behind a thick black curtain of malice and hate towards the other. Noriko treated Anselm kindly aside from the experiments. He remembered those days when the horns started growing it was so much pain, but Noriko had visited Anselm multiple times the scientist had even stayed throughout the night by his side letting the experiment curl up close to that cool soothing form of Noriko. It was safe then for the scientist to stay in his level one cell and Anselm wished that it was still like those days. Though he hated this facility he also loved it, he didn't feel like a nobody empty and directionless drifting from job to job he had a place that was constant and this consistency though had sent him slipping into madness gave him a security that he had been searching for on his own before being taken here.

He couldn't help smiling, almost chuckling lightly from the threat. "I will don't worry. Things just got so chaotic today I kind of slipped on things." Like remembering to go get food and whatnot. He held a fondness for Anselm since he was his first experiment and success and all. The male was attached to him, though he so far pretended it was just as scientist to experiment way, not like anything with more feeling. He wouldn't admit it. He reached and pat Anselm's arm, "Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere." Taking a bite, "Now, dig in, and enjoy." Smiling. He remembered how it was when he was able to actually be close to Anselm without risk of the male attacking, kind of like now, he was able to because the male just wasn't feeling well. ⚜He's one who asks the right questions⚜

Anselm made a slightly disgusted face when his arm was patted by Noriko, but a hint of that worry still hung in those cat like hues. The worry was soon hid behind his curtain of malice though. After the scientist spoke the experiment began devouring his food like some savage hungry beast. He had a look that fit his eating with those horns and red eyes. The experiment though kept glancing over at Noriko as if he was making sure that the scientist wouldn't disappear. That was partially the reason for the glancing, but the main reason was to briefly admire that youthful face, soft light blue hair, and those deep big blue eyes. He knew he liked Noriko he knew that very well ever since he had periodic dreams that included both of them.

He was just happy with the food and getting it into his stomach now. "Mhm~ So good," one of these few moments he cold forget the things going on and just relax. Even with Anselm next to him and never knowing if the male just would randomly lash out. He glanced up finally, with some food in his mouth, chewing. Blinking as he caught Anselm glancing. Swallowing, wondering why he kept looking. "Do I...have food on my face or something?" Curious. ⚜He's one who asks the right questions⚜

Anselm looked shocked for a moment surprised that he had been caught looking at the other. A light rosy color rose up on his cheeks. Thankfully though there was a smudge of chocolate on the corner of Noriko's mouth, so he hoped he could slide by with that excuse. "Yea...you do" he said and leaned over to use his thumb to gently wipe off the chocolate from the corner of the other's mouth. The cooling sensation from the other's skin against his heated body made him smile softly. "There...." he added and withdrew his hand. He wasn't thinking when he licked the chocolate off his own thumb. Upon realizing what he did he blushed a bit more "Never waste chocolate" he declared trying to support his actions. That chocolate tasted sweeter than usual chocolate tasted to him. Oh how he hated himself for the secret fondness he possessed for Noriko. If they were not in this place and on normal circumstances he wouldn't be so resenting of the fact that he was fond of the other, but the fact was all too real that the blue haired man helped tip the block that toppled him into his slow decent into insanity.

Feeling his warmer hand, his thumb rubbing off the bit of chocolate. Flushing more as he saw him lick it off his own hand now. "E-eheh....yea, good point," about not wasting the chocolate as he tried to give that as reason for licking it up. "Thanks," smirking a little. Looking back down to his food, now being the one slightly glancing over at Anselm. So curious, the two in a remotely docile state right now. They were okay around each other, not on the attack or anything. He smiled absentmindedly he liked it. ⚜He's one who asks the right questions⚜

Anselm kept his eyes on his food as he ate the last bits he had, but the taste of the chocolate from Noriko's face still lingered on his tongue. He wanted more but the artificial demon restrained himself. "Do.....Do you think you could stay around in my cell tonight? like the old days.....I promise I wont attack....your presence keeps the voices quieter...." he said softly and looked up at the other hoping he would agree to his request. He truthfully had no urge what so ever to harm Noriko though Anselm threatened it all the time. The artificial demon seemed to be in a rather calm mood with the medicines running through him. Even without the medicines he was usually calm around Noriko.

He raised an eyebrow, surprised at the request, though it made him smile a little. He couldn't help complying with his request. Nodding, "I'll bring in a cot to stay in with you tonight then." It was nice seeing Anselm in such a docile state, not the times he'd seen him enraged. Not only was it hectic on the floor then, but it also scared him seeing Anselm like that. ⚜He's one who asks the right questions⚜

Anselm couldn't hide his smile upon hearing Noriko agree to his request. "Thanks..." he said softly a blush rising up on his cheeks. He then sighed feeling contently full the artificial demon stretched a few joints popping in his arms and legs. Anselm then stood up rolling his neck until he heard a rather loud pop that sent a feeling of relief through his body making his neck less stiff. The artificial demon then started a small flame in his hand opposite of the arm hooked up to the IV. "I've gotten better control over it....this flame you can actually pass your hand through without getting burned" he said as he held the small orange flame in front of his face and watched as it danced on his hand. When he had first acquired this ability it was quite uncontrollable to him. As the days of doing nothing in his room he was able to perfect the hotter white flames, but recently he had mastered the focus for the much softer ones that someone without the flame retardant skin like his, could touch without any harm befalling them. He then looked over at Noriko and moved to his side outstretching his hand with the little flame. "Touch it....I promise it is safe I've been working on it for sometime" he said with a hopeful smile.

He took Anselm's plate and stacked it with his on the trays to put away to be cleaned, since it was all automated. Standing and putting them in the dishwashing area. Looking to Anselm, he'd tensed seeing the flame in his hand. Hearing what he said, "O-oh, really?" Curious but a little startled. He moved closer, looking at it as he explained, stopping a little bit away. He stiffened again, feeling his breath halt. He tried not to look so afraid, glancing to Anselm. "I-it is safe?" Looking making certain seeing that smile. He raised his hand and hesitantly reached forward but he hadn't put his hand through yet, he was going slow because he could feel his heart racing. It was something he didn't like to think back on, he'd sometimes get panic attacks because of it. He had a bit of a fear of fire after an incident when Anselm was first developing this power. ⚜He's one who asks the right questions⚜

Anselm could feel and see Noriko's hesitance to touch the fire. He could tell it was straining the scientist so the flame stopped in a small puff of smoke. "I wont make you....you seem on edge about it....and anyway you have had too much stress today I don't want to add to that anymore" he said to inform the other of the reason he stopped the fire. The experiment began to feel a bit light headed and held onto the IV to keep himself from falling over. That was a bad idea the focus had made his currently sick body a bit more out of balance. "L...Lets get to my room....I need to lay down" he said still using the stand for support as his head continued to feel light and he was getting a bit dizzy.

☤ Noriko LaLune ☤ ☣The scientist is not a person who gives the right answers☣ Noriko's attention snapped to Anselm, as the flame dispersed. Withdrawing his hand back letting out a breath he didn't realize he held. He bit his lower lip, nodding, "t-thank you...sorry." He wouldn't explain and was glad Anselm hadn't asked why he was having such an issue. He was being so kind with this, and saying how he didn't want to stress out Noriko or anything. Smiling lightly. Though he gasped lightly seeing him wobbling. And grabbed onto his other arm away from the IV, helping him to get steadied. "Okay, let's go." He walked with him bringing him back to his room. The door open since he had been earlier. He held his arm until he'd managed to lay back on the bed. Noriko checking the IV and making sure the needle didn't get jostled. Placing his hand on Anselm's forehead looking him over. "Good...doesn't seem to be anything worse...you're just a little tired." Figuring it had been added from making that fireball. He stepped back using the walkie talkie to inform a guard to bring one of the fold out bed things since he'd be staying here with Anselm. He needed the bed, pillow, etc. So now he just had to wait a few minutes. ⚜He's one who asks the right questions⚜

Anselm was out of it as Noriko helped him back to his room and laid him down on his bed. When the other's cool hand was placed upon his hot forehead he moan softly. The relief brought by his touch was like ecstasy. "Ice pack....." He said softly reaching out towards the scientist as he spoke into the walkie talkie. The experiment caught Noriko's hand and brought it to press against his forehead again. He closed his eyes and held the hand there. "Noriko....you wont let me die right?"he said softly his voice sounding slightly scared. His voices where whispering that he was going to die soon, but it stayed as soft whispers. It was enough to make him begin to get scared.

Having it pressed to his head, smiling as he called him by name instead of ice pack this time. Though as he heard his question, he paled shaking his head. "N-no of course not...I won't ever let that happen...Where's this coming from?" He got a worried look, placing his other hand on his cheek. Looking at him, lightly brushing his cheek with his thumb. "Don't worry...I'll always be here taking care of you." ⚜He's one who asks the right questions⚜ somehow forgot to quote you o.o...eheh
