 XXXXGema an maiden working part time as a tavern server when suddenly a man points a gun at her! He asks you to confirm she is Gem Sapphire Dupree. Dumbstruck she stood there in shock. Before the man can do anything else, several knights appear and capture the man! She is then whisked away on horse with one of them! Who are they? Why was she targeted? Wasn't she just a normal tavern server?XXXXThey tell her that she is going to meet the King! Upon reaching the King Throne room, he is revealed to be her FATHER as she are his LONG-LOST DAUGHTER! She is being targeted because she is his only relative left and can be a pawn of his enemies. She is assigned the Knight as a bodyguard, the same one that brought her to the castle on horse back. He is to be her 24/7 bodyguard. Will romance bloom or will it just be strictly royal business?[b]Name:[/b]

Bio: When Garaeth was sent on a mission by the king, he came to the same tavern where he came to retrieve the princess. There, he waited for the other soldiers to arrive, acting like a normal customer, flirting with what was supposedly a tavern maiden, happened to be the princess he was suppose to rescue. When a man stood from one of tables from behind him and pointed a gun at her, he sprung up from the bar stool, pointing his gun at the culprit. Moments later, four more soldiers barged in and captured the man. Garaeth later escaped with the princess by her side.

Gema sighed and walking into the castle's garden. She still couldn't believe what she was just told. She couldn't be a princess. All she had ever known was the life of a simple maiden in the kingdom's village. Now she had a knight watching her all the time and she was the kings daughter. Her life had done a complete 360.

Garaeth was catching a breath of fresh air in the garden when he noticed Gema walking passed him. From what he could tell, she seemed almost shocked from the discussion with the king A moment ago. As he decided to go talk to her, he stretched his arm and walked over towards Gema. "Well...what do you think of all this?" He asked. "Now, I understand that you're shocked that no one has ever told you told this. But, I'm sure that it was just for probable cause."

Gema jumped when he came up to her. Her first reaction was to slide the blade she held hidden in her sleeve down to her hand. In a second it was held up towards his neck. She sighed seeing who it was and pulled the blade away. "Don't ust walk up on me like that. Garaeth.", she sighed heavily putting the blade back where she had it hidden. While in a tavern a girl has to protect herself in some way from the drunk men. " "I'm simple confused as to why my mother wouldn't tell the truth. She told me my father was a traveling man and didn't want anything to do with us.", she sighed looking at the ground.

Garaeth jolted as Gema raised her blade up to her his neck, causing him to raised his hands up. Once she lowered her blade, he gave a sigh of relief and lowered his hands down to his sides. He bowed to her apologetically. "My sincere apologies, princess." He looked down at her as she explained how her mother had lied to her. He could understand where she was coming from. "It's was probably just out of anger. She could possibly have been disappointed when the king requested you and her to leave the castle. I'm just saying."

Gema shook her head and smiled. "No mother was never a castl . Maiden. Grandfather said she fell in love with a man that was staying in the family tavern. But they didn't know where he came from or who he really was. Then one day for mother knew she was going to have ms he disappeared from the tavern.... "

Garaeth listened to Gema's story. He gave a warm smiled as he placed his hand along her shoulder. "I know this isn't my place to be involved in between you and your family. But, know this. Every loving father will do anything for the safety of his children. Even if it involves leaving them behind." He later noticed that he was touch her on the shoulder as he blushed and hesitantly released it from her. "Sorry..."

Gema smiled softly at his words. When he pulled his hand away and said sorry she herself blushed. "Just called me Gema please. No matter whom my father is i am still Gema a normal tavern maiden. That was how i was raised after all.", she chuckled. She remembered him coming in a lot. He seemed ok then, now she knows why. Because he was a knight. "You came to the tavern a lot didn't you.", she asked softly.

Garaeth nodded in acknowledgement as she told him to address her as Gema. When, she later asked him that he came to the tavern a lot, he answered back immediately. "Of course. I came to this tavern regularly. That taverns been around since my father's generation, if I'm not mistaken. Why do you ask?"

Gema smiled and turned her back to him. She gently touch the roses beside her. "Well, normally young knights go to Von Donovan's Tavern. Due to the pretty young maidens that work their. We get thw elder married knights. Since I was the only youngmaiden. So why come to our little tavern?", she asked with a playful grin.

Garaeth blushed slight at Gema's question. "Well...it was highly recommended to me by my father. I guess, since he loved going to the tavern, I figured I'd carry out his legacy."

Gema laughed at him a little and smiled. "I see your father would be proud of you.", she said sweetly. She jumped hearing stable boys call out. A qhite horse had gotten out and was running around. She quickly gathered up her dress and ran up to the freaking out horse and the stable boys. "Hey there, it's ok.", she called to the horse. She grabbed the flying reins and pulled thw horse's head to her chest and rested her head on it's forehead. "Now now calm down. It is alright, my friend", she whispered. She rubbed it's neck and kissed it's forehead after it calmed doqn. "See.", she giggled.

Garaeth followed Gema towards the stable where one of the horse behaved violently. He raised his hand towards Gema as she ran towards the horse. "Wait, Gema! It's too dangerous!" Before he could come any closer to the situation, the horse was already calmed down. He stood there dumbstruck as well as the stable boys standing beside Gema.

Gema looked around at the dumbstruck boys. "Why such shock. A little freaked out horse isn't amything compared to thinflgs you come across in the village.", she giggled sweetly. Thr life of a village girl was nothing anyone in a royal castle could understand.
