Since I don't know where else these may or may not go...
Anime North 2013 just wrapped up this weekend and here are the pics I managed to take.
I don't get around as much as I'd like since I am staff at the con.

This year we hit 23,700 attendees (1315 more then last year).

That small? :O Yep, AN has been growing since, when I started going to it attendance was raising about 1000 to 2000 a year. They introduced attendance caps at that point since staff were stretched thin (we are all volunteers so its hard to assemble staff sometimes).

Frankensteiny Looks so cooool. :O I wish I had the time to go to an anime convention. All the conventions in my area are when im at school. You should try to go, even if its just for a day. Trust me, you can't go wrong, with Anime North you go there and no matter who you are, or what you look like, its like everyone is your friend. Not all cons are like that but I think that it depends on the cons nature.

I will eventually try to go to any of the conventions when my schedule opens up. I like conventions too but never get to go.
I'm a gamer, love anime and comics/manga.
Went to a gaming con before was Magus
for Chrono Trigger many years ago.

Full-time for the duration of the convention? Pretty much, we do get brakes and such but we spend more time running the con then actually taking part in events.
