The Town of Moonlight Falls

Welcome to Moonlight Falls. A quaint little town in the rural part of Maine, it stands along the shores of Ashfield Lake. Surrounded by wooded hills and rivers, it has become a destination for fishermen and boaters. Moonlight Falls is bisected horizontally by the lake. Because of this, one can find the district of Ivy Hill in the northern area and Lakeside on the opposing lake shore.

Ivy Hill
The Court of the Ever Green

The northern area of the city. A large forested and mountainous region with rivers on the north side of Ashfield Lake. A national road, County Road 73, crosses it from southeast to northwest and links Ivy Hill with the southern half of the town of Moonlight Falls, as well as with nearby towns, including Pleasant River. Ivy Hill consists of:

Ashfield Park
Observation Deck: a scenic overlook along County Road 73 adjacent to a wooded hiking path.
Toluca Graveyard: an old graveyard.
Wood Side Apartments; an apartment complex built just next to the Blue Creek Apartments found on Katz St.
Blue Creek Apartments; a small apartment building.
Ashfield Lake: the lake, surrounded by forest, upon which the town of Moonlight Falls was founded.
Blackwood Asylum: a mental institution in South Vale located on Carroll St. Following a tragic fire at the beginning of the 20th century, it was closed, and Cedar Grove Sanitarium was established.

Oakwood
Moonlight Falls Historical Society: Owns and operates the Moonlight Falls Museum.
Rosewater Park: A park on the south shore of Ashfield Lake situated on Nathan Avenue.
Jack's Inn: a small motel located just South of Rosewater Park on Nathan Ave. and Munson St.
Darklore Manor: An antiquated mansion. It has been uninhabited since 1880. The manor doubles as the Commons for the the freehold. It is where all Court business takes place.
Pete's Bowl-O-Rama: An entertainment spot on the corner of Nathan Ave. and Carroll St.

Lakeside
The Court of the Silver Sun

The southern area of the city. More well-to-do than Ivy Hill. It contains 3 districts: Old Moonlight Falls, Central Moonlight Falls, and the resort area.

Old Moonlight Falls: Primarily residential, it is usually ignored by those not on vacation.
Everglow Elementary School: The neighborhood elementary school, located on the southwest side of town, on Midwich Street.
Church of the Holy Way: A Protestant church located on the corner of Bloch and Bachman.
Old Town Cemetery: Located on Bloch, across from the church.
Wish House: Home base for the Moonlight Falls Smile Support Society, a charity that strives to help “those in need” - orphans and other assorted homeless are often taken into their care, and helped until they can help themselves. Secretly, the Society is the Court of Ivy Hill, with Wish House serving as their Commons for all Court business.

Central Moonlight Falls: The business hub of the town.
Moonlight Falls Police Station: On the corner Crichton and Sagan.
Moonlight Falls Town Center: A shopping mall in the northwestern part of the area, on Simmons street. An antique store is located next to it.
Willowglen Hospital: A hospital located in Central Silent Hill on the corner of Crichton and Koontz.
Wallace Drugs: The local drugstore.
Green Lion Antiques: Located next to Moonlight Falls Town Center, it is owned by Shannon McAleister.
Andy’s Books: Bookstore on Koontz street, across from Willowglen Hospital.
O’Grady’s: Butcher shop on Low Street and Toluca Avenue.
Veilgarden Theatre: A movie theater on Koontz street.
Greenfield Apartments: Apartment complex on the far north side of Acadia Road.
Cedar Grove Hospital: The second mental institution, established after the tragic fire at Blackwood Asylum. It is located on Acadia Road.
Lumber Yard: A lumber yard on Midway Avenue.
Sunderland Motel: One of many motels, located on Sunderland Drive.
Hueber and Associates: A business firm.

Resort Area: The tourist destination on the north side of town.
The Lighthouse: Lighthouse on Ashfield Lake, one of the town’s oldest structures.
Ivy Hill Amusement Park: A theme park overlooking the lake, located on Sanford and Weaver.
