Venus' temple is built from marble shaded a soft pink, a low rectangular structure with a domed roof. There are carvings of white doves that appear so real that they seem to be trying to fly away from the very walls of the building. The interior and exterior are beautifully carved with scenes about the goddess and love in general. Simply being in the temple's vicinity can force a person to dwell on their past and current love lives. Inside, there is a white statue of Venus's birth, the goddess rising from the surf.
