 My name is Liran Thalnor. I never tell people my name and insist on being called Landerhilt.I am 25 years of age.I am male.I am of the proud elven race......though I use the term loosely.I am peaceful most of the time,loving,gentle,knowledgeable,and very stubborn.I like to listen to music(harp,piano,acoustic guitar),to travel,to read,to play games,to eat,and angels.I dislike being stared at,being underestimated,people prying into my personal life,being called less than what I am....or what I used to be.....and technology.....-sighs- I will address the large elephant in the room momentarily. Many years ago,I was born into a wealthy elven family. "Thalnor" was my family name. My given name was "Liran". My family name was being said on many lips,due to their reputation for getting jobs done and getting paid afterwards,all without using electronic technology. My family shuns the use of any type of electronic to get something done,even if required. So,I grew up hating technology. My father was a master swordsman and when I reached the age of 6,he began teaching me the basics of elven swordsmanship. When I became ten,I was at the top of my class,showing great expertise at elven swordsmanship. That was when a group of humans dressed in red uniforms showed up at my door and took me away. My parents fought as hard as they could,but their skills weren't enough against the technology the mysterious humans where using. I was knocked unconscious and taken to a testing facility in a hidden location. As you'd expect,they began running tests on me,scaning my body,injecting various liquids within my bloodstream,and various others,all in preparation to desecrate my body entirely.
I was put on an operating table and put to sleep. Many hours had passed and when I finally awoke from my sleep,I was shocked to discover that my body was completely altered. Most of my skin wasn't visible through the multiple metal plates and circuitry embeded to my flesh. My ear drums were replaced with audio sensors. Possibly the most unforgivable thing I found was that most of my internal organs were intact,but I my heart was replaced with a rechargeable battery with a cable socket protruding from the left side of my chest. The very technology that I hated.....was now apart of my very being. I found my way home,but when my family saw me,they despised me,began calling me less than elf or a "non-elf". Eventually,I was disowned by my family and banished from my home,never to return. I was unbelievably heartbroken that day. For the rest of my life,I travelled aimlessly,hoping to find sanctuary. To find someone to love. To find the angel that loves me........so far,it is a losing battle.......
