 A Project Thread
I know people don't really come into this part of the guild any more, but I still like making these threads. So hello there! I'm PMS and this is my current project. =D
As per usual I might post early chapters/excerpts in here, as well as character sketches. I'll also be keeping a kind of progress logbook, because I find it's a good way to motivate myself. If you're reading anything in here, please let me know how you like it!Summary Like most girls her age, Evelyn has always dreamed of being like her biggest hero. But for Eve this is just downright impossible, because Hera is a superhero. Genetically mutated and one of the city's elite crime-fighting squad, Hera is stronger, faster and basically more awesome than Eve will ever be. She is perfect, at least in Eve's mind. But there are those who would disagree.
When a riot in Olympia gets out of control, Eve finds herself face-to-gun-barrel with her hero - and she is not all she has been made out to be. Hera is just a scared young woman facing the danger of execution unless she can prove that her mutations are 'natural' and not part of something else.
What that something else is, Hera doesn't know. And to make matters worse, she never knew her parents and she doesn't remember anything before her tenth birthday. Here's what I'm working on right now:19/05/2013: Creating this thread. Not writing.03/06/2013: Half-snowflake planning. 300 words written for SuWriMos.06/06/2013: 3.8k written for the summer. Oscar Rose has been introduced. Cue beautiful conservatory scene.15/06/2013: 7k written for the summer. Project is slow-going and characters are stubborn as mules. Today commences project Catch-Up. >DMaybe I'll make some fun banners...
