well i was looking at a picture of my car a minute ago and i realized theres still a VITAL RUSTPROOFING sticker stuck to my quarter window on the drivers side and its annoying me. ive picked at it abit before and its not just a window sticker like the ones you get at oil changes its got like glue on it. so my question is, is there a chemical i can buy to burn it off or do i need to have at it with a paint scraper? thanks

Is it like the kind of sticker that you get from car dealers? If so, heat it up a little bit with a propane torch and scrape it off with a putty knife.

Yeah, then your best bet would be goo-gone and a putty knife.

what he said....then use the go-gone stuff cause it works wonders to get rid of sticky stuff...but make sure to keep the windows/doors open so you dont get fumed to death.

goo gone smells like oranges ^_^ haha anyways took like 3 shots of goo gone to get all the goo off but it is gone like the bottle said. unfortunately 1 window remains, on my passenger side window theres a sorta greasy/oily smear at the top of the window about 1 inch wide and 3 inches long, ive tried windex and stuff but doesnt seem to want to go anywhere. any stronger chemicals i could get from a local shop or something? and also, any of you ever tried rain-x ive only heard about it never heard anything good or bad either, just what it does. thanks

the goo gone stuff i have smells nothing like an orange. rain x sucks do not put it on your windshield if you ever wanna see out it again when it rains. imagine hitting a bug that would splat your whole windshield and grease it up...thats about what the rain x does.

rain-x seems to to work fine on my car and other cars ive seen, it just minimizes the use of your windshield wipers.
