Littleroot Town is located in southwestern Hoenn. Littleroot Town is where trainers start their Pokémon journeys in Hoenn. Hoenn's region-exclusive professor, Professor Birch, has a laboratory in the town used for research on Pokémon. The only exit of the town is north, which leads to Route 101 and Oldale Town beyond.

xx►at least I can leave something for my heirs. Richard sat on his throne. He had spent the last twenty-four hours dealing with citizen complaints, reports from the field, and requests from the people regarding the remaining nova monsters. He was dead beat, and he would love even five minutes of rest. But, he had to set out. One of the closest reports was from near the Fendel and Windor border near Lhant; if he left now, he could make it to Lhant in a few days. He wouldn't pass up the chance to see Asbel and Sophie. And, possibly Cheria if she was visiting. "Your Majesty, are you setting out?" "Yes. I'm going to the border to help the soldiers with the nova monsters. I'll be back when I can." "At least rest for a few hours. You've been up for twenty-four hours without rest." Richard looked at Dalen and thought about it. There was no way he'd be able to sleep right on the ship. Perhaps a few hours of rest wouldn't hurt. "Ah, and one more thing. I've heard word from Lhant that Miss Sophie has disappeared. Has she come to Barona to visit you?" Richard looked at Dalen with a puzzled expression. As far as he knew, Sophie should still be in Lhant. He hadn't seen her in the castle, and no one told him she was in Barona. Besides, if she was in the city, the first thing she'd do was pay him a visit. "No, I don't believe she's here. She could have went to help with the monsters on her own....After I help with the monsters, I'll see if anyone knows where she went." It was a troubling thought to think that Sophie has just vanished. It couldn't be Little Queen, and if she'd taken the shuttle, no one would have reported her disappearing.
When Richard awoke, something seemed strange. His chambers smelled different. Opening his eyes, he noticed there were trees over him and he blinked to let his eyes adjust. Maybe he was imagining it. As far as he knew, the castle didn't have any trees. Especially his chambers. But, when he sat up, the young king realized he was outside. "...Where am I?" Was this some sort of joke or something? If so, he didn't think it was funny. He could have been killed by wolves in his sleep! That would have been a horrible, and rather disappointing, death. Standing, Richard patted himself down and looked around. Well, he was obviously in a town, but he didn't recognize it. Granted, he hadn't been in a ton of towns, so it could be one he didn't know. I don't think this is a joke from the castle staff, or from Duke Dalen. That leaves two options. One, I was abducted in my sleep. Or, two....I was sleepwalking. And, something tells me I would have been stopped if I was sleepwalking.... As Richard stood there, thinking about what was going on and where he was, he remembered Dalen telling him about Sophie suddenly disappearing. Could this have happened to her as well? It seemed far fetched, but he'd seen so many strange things. To him, nothing was impossible anymore. Well, except getting out of all his royal duties. As he thought, he heard a bush rustle and he drew his rapier, suddenly grateful he'd fallen asleep with it belted to him. "Who's there!?" He spotted something running through the bushes, noticing it looked like a yellow...rat, and he blinked. What was that thing? It was getting late. Sheathing his weapon, Richard walked forward. I have lost my mind. For all I know, it could be a weapon. Still something told him this creature wasn't a threat. The creature hopped out and looked up at him. "Chu!" What was this thing, and wbat was it saying?Did you know Littleroot Town is a fine place to be?
I'm feeling a bit confused right now.
