Biography:
Birth: Born in 1983, James Alexandria Henderson was born for great things; at least that is what he was told as he grew. James grew up in New York, a big place full of hopes for many people. Things were average and ordinary for James as he grew, what could possibly be out of the ordinary in life. He made it through elementary school, middle school, and graduated high school without any notable accomplishments. James was never even a part of something small like 'Chess Club'.
18 Years Old: Things changed for Henderson when his parents aspired for him to go to the best collage they could afford on what they had been saving. Having saved for so many years James was now on his way to the best collage for physics. While his parents were never the smartest or brightest of people they always did what they could for their children. It seemed it would be an easy life for James seeing as how he had a thing for science and was exceptional at math.
Skip to Age 30: James was now a very educated and successful scientist that worked all over the world. He was among the top ten physicists and was usually working on the study of black holes and quantum teleportation. With his great mind and intellect it was obvious that some people would want his help for bad things. While always refusing to meet people in secret and organize special favors for people he did not know it had to be different for the government; they had to have their way no matter what. The reason given to James from the government was always the same, "Its for the better of the people".
Age 32: James had taken two years off his work to get married and try to have a life. During a car accident however James' wife was killed and he set into depression. The government heard wind of this and took advantage of his weakened state and persuaded him to design a machine designed for teleportation. While being told it was not perfected the government prompted James to continue with a test. Having the project a secret meant limits so James used himself as the subject not caring if he died having lost most reason to live. The project however would take three years to finish before it could be tested.
Age 35: The day of the test was a Tuesday. The date of the test of the teleportation device, code name - 'Telephone', was March 15, 2018. During the standard procedures of saftey for all those involved in the area James was sitting off to the side in the blue and silver 'spacey' looking suit. All he could think about as people ran around him preparing things was his family. He had not seen them since his wedding with his late wife, his brother was older but they barely knew each other and his parents seemed to be doing fine at the time. 'How are they doing now? Are they worried about me? Do they know of her?', was all he kept asking himself.
'Telephone': It was now time, 3:05 PM with a thunderstorm now hitting the area. When some people involved asked for a possible hold on the test James just pushed for the test and the government had nothing to say as they stood to the side in the 'safe zone' to watch things go down. The plan was for James to teleport from 'spot A' to 'spot B', a mere 50 foot move in the blink of an eye. With everybody in place James continued to think of his family and when 3:15 hit the switch would be hit and he would be dead or an unknown famous man.
3:15 PM: The thunderstorm had hit full blast and was somewhat close to being like a hurricane. The wind and water was immense and dangerous to those that were unprepared. Lightning hitting everywhere and people running about, then bam! The switch was thrown down and the test was underway. Shots of electricity were hitting everything in the test building during the experiment, it was to be expected as the project would require tons of electricity. With the power flashing on and off in the building James was being zapped and began to glow.
3:20 PM: After 5 minutes of on going blasts of electricity James blasted away from sight and was gone. In the same instant that James disappeared the building imploded, killing everybody while the storm continued to rage around the area. James was now gone from the area but not dead, he had teleported home. He had concentrated and somehow accidentally found himself in his home town; or at least what it felt like.
"Zero Zone": When James had realized exactly where he was it was his old home and the time was exactly 3:21 PM. He was back in the U.S. but something was different for him and he could feel it was something bad. When the smokey aura around James faded all he could see was blood and then destruction headed outward from his position. While the project had worked and he had in deed teleported the project seemed to have affected him and caused a force upon his destination point. The force had obviously blown everything outward; the force destroyed the house he grew up in and had done the same to the other houses around his home for about 4 miles. While walking area James took everything in to realize he had just murdered hundreds of people, his own family included.
3:30 PM: While having come to the horrible conclusion of his actions military personal quickly arrived, already having the town with his incident closed off. James was immediately detained and blind folded as he was taken away and kept hidden form the world. All James could do was hope he was not killed and wonder where he was being taken. He had no idea what was going to happen and was full of fear at the moment.
Skip to Age 36: A little more than a year after his incident James would be one of few living in the highest security prisons on the world. Even while being in the prison for what he had done not many people knew what he had done. His name had been erased from anything he was involved in and he was made into a man without anything to prove he existed. It had been a year of discovering himself and coming to terms with his actions. James tended to only read books while imprisoned and avoid every possible person he could.
5:43 AM - August 06, 2019: On this particular date James had been reading like any other day. Nothing seemed different about him at all. After his usual reading session it was time for breakfast and so he headed off to the library to eat and read some more. Upon entering James overheard some men speaking of a possible break out. Noticing that James had heard them the men proceeded to question James about what he had heard. Refusing to speak a single word the men decided to beat James to near death.
5:50 AM: James was left bleeding from his ear and had several damaged organs and broken bones. When brought to an infirmary James was put in a cast and restraints, he had also entered a coma. It was in this comatose state that James began to recollect every action of his life and he watched it all play out as best he could in a third person point of view. For him it was if he was watching a action/drama movie with himself as the star.
December 18, 2019 - 8:06 PM: Finally awaking from his comatose state James was bombarded with questions of who attacked him and why. Not wanted to answer he has hit lightly in the stomach and told to respond. Having seen his life play out over and over again James had some hate toward any form of government. Seeing that he would not respond James was hit again, this time in the head. Upon taking the hit James let out a shout of pain and the people and object in the room were thrown outward from him and into the wall. Everything that was thrown outward had been pushed with such force that they were crushed in the process. Blood was everywhere and everything was shattered. The sight of the room reminded James of the day he killed his family and it brought another shot of pain to his mind causeing another explosion.
8:30 PM" With thoughts of what he had done flooding his mind and causing pain everything around James began to implode or fly away. After walking throughout the facility the pain in his head finally subsided. The prison around him was gone and there were lights on him. He had completely destroyed the prison and all the people inside it; prisoner and security alike. It suddenly hit him in that moment that whatever had happened during project 'Telephone' had changed him. He had the ability to manipulate gravity, but he had yet to figure out the limit.
'Threat Level 1': While being surrounded all James could hear being shouted was the word 'Graviton'. It seemed that was what he was being referred to as, not that he could complain with what he had just done. Who would listen to his side of the story anyway. He could barely be viewed as a human anymore and the men before him were clearly sent to shut him down. With hopes of being able to just wound the men around him or shield himself James put both his hands out in a surrendering position. When he reached as far out as he could he thought of all the possible things he could do if he was not careful; the last thought that hit him was if using his arms and hands in this manner would make a gravitational force fly outward from his position. Having the thought in his mind his fear came true, the force he imagined came out with great strength and hit everything around him for miles. He had once again killed people and would be more than likely wanted dead. It was also at this moment that James decided to figure out how to control his powers and to never engage with anybody ever again.
2019 - Present: Though having no trace of his past in any form that mattered to the government, other than 'Graviton', James continues to walk around learning what he can and getting by as best he can. Always refusing to make much eye contact and always speaking little he has full control of his powers. It was through his horrible actions that he also decided to never hurt anything.
