To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai.

Background Information
Narissa was born in the leaf village, she wanted to become a ninja but to mostly travel and learn. She was about an average student, except for in the genjustsu area, where she was the best in her class. But she didn't really show-off and kept her powers in check. She passed the Chunin exams easily. She became a Jonin at the age of 18. She has decided not to go up any anymore levels unless the Hokage has decided it for her. She discovered that her element she is best at is water through out her training. She has awoken her Sharingan, but she rarely uses it. She met Rikyu, around in the village, she was very quite and didn't talk to him very much. But soon she blossomed and they got married and had a son.
