No one smart enough would be caught around here. These towns lay around the border of the country, already having their populations wiped out by the gases. Few people come here to loot houses.

"We live in our own world, We feel the way that we create.."
► Riley walked along the outskirts of the city, hands tucked tightly in her pockets as she sauntered with her head low. The female wore a worn out black leather jacket, combat boots, and comfortable enough clothing whether it be warm or cold, and easy enough to move around in. Long hair pulled into a messy side braid, she tried to search for a house that may be of assistance to her. She had already gone through several and none of which provided her with anything useful for her own survival. She knew it was partially a bad idea to come all the way out here, but what else was she going to do? Wait around for the next "cleaning" to come around and kill her? She'd at least try and find more gear. Maybe some medicine, or food even. Lately she had had a harder time finding a substance she could actually digest. And as the days grew by, she became more and more thing, losing weight.
Upon coming to a house on her left, she walked up it's sad little sidewalk and jiggled the door knob. Unfortunately it was locked, but that was what windows were for. She walked along the porch until she came to a window, looked around, then slammed the end of her elbow into it. She winced a little, but the pain was nearly there. Not only was she wearing a thick leather jacket to absorb what would've been cuts, but took in some of the impact. She pushed in larger loose pieces of glass then climbed her way in. Once inside, Riley began to rummage through drawers, cabinets, dressers, etc. Luckily for her, this loot was a better one. She found a working lighter, another water bottle, torn up blanket, and half a package of crackers. She tucked all of these things in the fairly small backpack she had and left the house the same way she came in.
As both of her feet hit the porch, she was blasted by a deafening siren. She threw her hands to her head, attempting to try and muffle some of the sound from her ears and she gritted her teeth. "What the hell?" Moments later it registered in her mind what was happening. The Cleansing. Riley had been able to survive through the last one, but what of this new one?Almost as if on cue, as soon as the siren went off, moments later the young women started to feel weak. She blinked a few times then was hit with a foul smell in her nostrils as she fell to her knees on the street. This gas was unlike anything she had ever experienced. It smelled of decay, and made her throat and nostrils burn. Palms flat on the ground, Riley began to cough hard at the gas intoxicating her system. Not knowing that if she didn't find a cure soon, she would indefinitely die to this round of cleansing. ◄

Ace
Driskoll
Hale
Ace originally came here to simply and hopefully get some peace and quiet or an adventure. However, that easily slipped out of his mind when he realized that the abandoned place was much more silent than ever. He sat at a front of a once spectacular shop. The latest virus, nicknamed Silent Killer, must have been a success as usual. The place was as eerie as ever, giving no sign of life or cheer as it did in some parts of the upper class city.
Generally, he should have not been here at all; He should be back in the city, keeping an eye on as many investigations as possible.. However, Ace pulled a couple of strings to sneak away from the ever going-on pressure. He left the security in the guise of one of his fellow co-worker. Hopefully, they could understand. Currently, he was his original persona. Most people wouldn't expect the security manager of the Ranks in such a place, most likely hiding behind walls. However, he managed to keep a well enough protection simply by just watching other people. Ace didn't understand why the staff haven't found out yet of his little escapades. Then again, he did do his job exceptionally well.
He sneezed, feeling the rank of mud fill his nose. Perhaps, he should try to find some food supplies somewhere. Otherwise, he may have to seriously use his powers again to sneak some food from the headquarters. A couple of weeks ago, he had to casually disguise himself to get some food from a group who probably wouldn't want to give anything to him. Perhaps, he could find a nearby hidey hole and perhaps find something.

Sophia Douglas Schrodinger's Cat? Health: 4000. Status: Slightly sick, will be fine. After she left the railroad when bombs started going off, Sophia had for once in her life laid low for a little bit. In deciding to do so, she went off to the Wastelands. Incidentally, she had been a bit curious about the ghost towns bordering the country, wondering if the dearly departed had left anything interesting and/or useful lying around. So, she has made her way down into one of those towns.
After exploring for a little bit, she hears Ace's sneeze, and turns in that direction. "Someone else is here? Strange, I thought people tended to try and avoid these kinds of places..." She coughs a little, still somewhat bothered by the Silent Killer, then clears her throat, and scales the closest building. Once on the roof, she begins making her way along the rooftops towards where she heard the sneeze, wondering how would make the decision to come to this ghost town.
She soon spots Ace, and looks down at him from her perch. He looks important. What would someone important be doing out here? There's almost nothing out here... She watches him carefully, hoping to find out his purpose for being in the wastelands.
Ace, having not sensed the person watching him yet, took off his glasses. He rubbed the bridge of his nose, glad for the peace and quiet. He stood up, yawning and stretching. Perhaps this would be a golden opportunity to practice his disguises again. Nobody was here and he probably would sense if somebody were to come along. He took a breath for speaking loudly. The voice echoed across the empty town, curling in the air. However, the sneer in this voice was characteristically not his. In fact, it was far from his normal voice. A smirk came across his face at how silly this voice sounded. How on earth did those little snot-rags [children] sound like this?
"And then, yesterday~" he said, chuckling at how this voice sounded idiotic. Nasally sounded teenager was even worse sounding than some other voice he heard before. "I totally saw like... oh my god." Sputters of laughter escaped from him. Though, his voice was still shifted to match that one person. The laugh turned into high pitch giggles. His eyes roamed the area before frowning. That voice just sounded too odd. He took a step forward. His figure then shifted, clouding over.
Then, in his place, stood a girl. Ace twirled around making sure his disguise worked. Ace, now disguised, practiced the childish giggle once again. Ok... So he may look like a creeper at this point. However, these disguises did help. Really.

Maeve walked slowly into the town, covering her mouth with a sour look on her face as everything rotted and decaying gave off a stench that attacked them once they entered the town. Looking around at the dilapidated buildings she chose one that didnt seem as broken down and headed for it. Opening the door with a soft creak Maeve stepped in, breath evening out and silent footsteps guiding her across the room. It was a one-room house with windows on all four walls, a sagging mattress in the corner and a table and chair in the other. After making sure no one was there Maeve turned to Craig. "I guess we could stay here."
Craig held up his right hand and it ignited in to flames which he used as a torch to look around the room they had found, "Aye... for a little while at least" Craig said with a smile towards Maeve, the smell didn't really bother him and thanks to his ability light was not the issue either, he looked over to Maeve and decided now was as good a time as any to actually get to know her, thinking back he knew nothing really about her other than her name and personality, "So... Maeve... where did you come from?" he asked in an awkward attempt to make conversation.

Testing the mattress and finding herself sinking farther down into it than she should, Maeve made a disgusted look and tried to get off of it with much struggle. When Craig's question hit her she stood there quietly. "Alaska." She muttered before moving over to the table and chairs to test how sturdy they were too. "These dont seem like they will carry our weight, so we can break them up and use as firewood." Maeve said as she raised her foot and stomped down on the seat of one chair, shattering the frail structure.
Craig watched as she struggled with the mattress and then she smashed the furniture to make a pile of wood, "Alaska huh... what was it like?" Craig asked as he he threw a fireball from one hand to the other while keeping his eyes on her, he was determined to try and find out more about her but was not sure how much he would be able to, Maeve was a stubborn one for sure.
He walked, cradling his rifle in his arms, and his katanas by his sides. Nikolas had kept close watch of the area around him, sweeping the streets alone and searching smaller buildings, only being able to find small items that would be of good use. He coughs a little, chokes, a little blood on his arm, and he growls. He lost respect for Lucius, sending off engineered viruses just to maintain control over his people. Nikolas had found that pathetic of what such effort he has to use, honestly thinking he has half a brain, and that his own virus wiped the other half off. But Nikolas was only angry that it had affects on him, that he has to suffer with the virus himself. At this point he really wouldn't care about the child, if he was sicken with his own virus, or if he were to be assassinated. He pretty much would deserve it. Only thing is that Lucius is his only source of pay and free living, besides the collection of fallen citizens. So he should be the least grateful. And so he continued roaming the streets and houses, scavenging any items to bring back to the head quarters. He stopped by one house, which doors seemed locked. But it wasn't any matter. He simply pushed the door as if it were unlocked, leaving the door damaged. Inside he made sure nothing could be heard, so far it was clear. Through the draws and cabinets, it was another clean house. The upstairs he searched, only to find a dead body. Identified as a male, his age could not be determined since the body has decomposed that badly. Nikolas stepped over the skull, crushing it as he walks into the restroom. In the cabinets, empty, oh wait! A little tin can of lighter fluid, 8 ounces with at lease half of the fluids remaining. Bingo, this was a lucky grab. As he went ahead to put the fluid in his bag, a crashing sound could be heard; it was from another house, to the right. Nikolas quickly dropped to his knees, holding his rifle to a ready position to fire. He had to inspect the other house. Swiftly and quickly he made it to the downstairs, and off to the yard of the next house. Nikolas had made sure by the door no one was there. It sounded like it was coming from the upstairs. Could have possibly been citizens, but he was not given permission to open fire unless fired upon. He searched the house with his eyes to see it has already been swept, he enters through and towards the stairs. Slowly he tries to climb the stairs, adjusting his goggles, he moves his white hair out of view and slowly creep to the upstairs. Little creaking sounds were made, and he tried his very best to keep close of loosened planks. He turned his head left to right, all other doors were closed besides one, which a faint light lit up the open door; Someone is here, possibly two. And so Nikolas slowly made his way, not paying any attention to the ground. He lifts one foot forward, this time without a sound as he held his rifle up. One more foot, he ends up hitting an empty can, which made a loud tinkling sound. His cover was blown. And so he charged to the door way, swinging his rifle to the front and pointed at two people. "Hold, no movement." He commands in a firm voice. Nikolas had taken a close look at the two, he didn't seem to recognize them at all, as citizens or any of the resistance forces.
(Sorry guys, I'm on my ipad right now, so my posts will be ugly. . _.)

Maeve had her mouth open and was about to reply when someone crashed into the room and swung the muzzle of a gun between her and Craig. Caught in the moment she had yet to react, and was simply trying to register what was going on. Face flush with anger she cursed herself for going into such an obvious hiding place, they should have stayed at the hotel. Feeling the sheath of her katana on her back Maeve started to make plans. The room was small, she had two daggers, and Craig might make a mess if he tries to use his firepower. This man had a gun, therefore the advantage of speed, but if she could get it away from him...." Soldier, what are you doing here?" Maeve barked, folding her arms across her chest and giving Nikolas with a scrutinizing eye. Instead of listening to him and staying still she started to strut back and forth in front of him, giving off an air of authority as she scowled down on him. "I said soldier, report your business!"

When the woman, which stepped forward started to bark orders at Nikolas, he looks at her blankly for a while. His dull expression, suddenly a crease was forming by the corners of his mouth. Not soon after, he couldn't hold it. He bursts into a hard laughter as he lowered the rifle, holding it single handed as the weight of his laughter pulled him down. After his moment, he lets off a sigh, breathing. "Oh wow... You have no idea." Nikolas stood back up straight, still with the rifle on his right hand. "This 'soldier' doesn't take orders from any other commanding officers." He lifted his arms and extended his index and middle finger together at the word 'soldier', and made a gesture to quote the word, then continued with the rest of his sentence. "I suppose you have authority over another group, but not the military." Nikolas reached for the zipper of his jacket with his free hand, pulling it aside. It revealed his rank as the general of the army. "So, would you like to identify yourselves?" He continued on, raising his rifle with one hand, his free hand took possession of his M1911 A2, now he held two lethal weapons in his hands, unlocked and loaded. "Any sudden movement, that's two more going to make my paycheck." Since his jacket was unzipped, it revealed both of his katanas resting on both of his sides. He was ready for any upcoming attacks.
Craig looked to the man in anger as he began playing the tough guy act thinking he could take them both on with only a rifle, Craig slowly stood up and his arms burst in to flames as he glared at the man, he wasn't going to have another mistake of burning down a hotel nearly, but if this guy kept it up it was him who was going to get burned for playing with fire, "We're two innocent people getting fed up with being attacked everywhere we go...!"Craig said as his flames began to roar higher up his arms as he was beginning to get angrier and as he got hotter so did the room, "So... General... ditch that gun before I melt it..."
