Now, I don't really think anyone is going to read this as we've all gone on to bigger and better things whilst leaving the bar mostly abandoned, and that's fine. I thought at the very least, the Bar, one that many years ago kept me very amused in hard times, should get a proper good bye and not go out under the radar.

In case anyone is not fully aware of what I'm talking about, Gaia Interactive has announced something very controversial: they will be shutting down the original towns in favor of a flashier and newer Towns 2.0. Now, this wouldn't necessarily kill the bar, even if it already is in all respects a faded memory, if only Sicrosis would come online and move it to Towns 2.0. That, however, is highly unlikely and with the new interface, new comers would not see it as they're opting for a friends only neighborhood style. With this knowledge, it's pretty much going to be accepted that when the transition comes, the Dark Star Bar is going to be deleted without so much as an acknowledgment. The Bar will fade to nothing, living only in our memories.

I know I haven't seen you all in years nor kept up with your person stories, Hell, I don't even know if y'all are even alive still, but I just wanted to say thank you for helping me through a rough childhood and see into into early adult-hood. For the memories, well I can't thank you enough but I've been taught valuable lessons and I'd just like to say we had a great run, and let's not let this go out with a whimper.
