On large cargo vessel traversing space at a slow, steady pace onboard are several passengers awaiting the arrival to their destinations as they rest in hyper-sleep.
Adventures in another world

"Not a day rolls by without my past haunting me; dreams of me in an underground lab, in a green, anti-septic fluid with a breathing tube and nothing but the skin on my bones. More than that, is the fact that after meeting Jodan (who claims he's my twin) lotta bad things happened. One of them being shipped off to maximum prison for murder… murder I did not do."
"yet no matter how much I plead, no one believes me. Hard to believe anyone, who hasn't a clue where they came from, what their true name is, not to mention what year it is. Has to be somewhere around 2002 (somewhere in there). Anyway, my tag number was W30928, I could overhear scientists… taking about a new soldier. Project Wulf. Which is how I came up with my new name 'Wulf ninja warrior'. Traveling through space with a bunch of average civilians. A girl dressed in pink with angelic wings cuddling a gwee dragon near her face; a literal example of angel in pink, Angelpetal. a white guy dressed in all black clothing, the dark mysterious snake-in-the-grass, and a snitch to boot. the white dot eyed devil, ninja guardian, a curly black haired devil in blueish-black slacks by the name of Jones. Ninja guardian's lover, the dark underworld person. who's never seen light, x grim reaper x, a wise man of the native american origin dressed in only black pants with thick, black boots, and his trusty falcon spirit, ficor'. the 3rd in command of the ship, but not for very long, her name's jira, faklo jira.
the rest were free settlers, the newbs of planet gaia. Probably on their way to make a new life. Which happens to be the one thing… I value most. (just as long you don't get on my bad side…)"

The ship; slowly gliding across open space, unaware of its plotted course was on a collision with a storm cloud in space made of electricity, was still staying its course. The radar emitting a faint beep along with the projected words "Warning: Cosmic radiation" on the screen beside it. As the sound continued, the ship made its way closer and closer until… the screen and radar went black, life support systems began to fade, the captain's hyper-sleep chamber began shaking and shaking some more and the in a huge BANG the life support machines on either side of him explodes in sparks and metal debris, which pierced the glass shield and shot into him like bullets. After as many shots as his boy could, he began to flat-line.
Jira awoke to see her captain die as she and the third in command's doors open and they fell to the floor.
"What the hell's happening?"
"Captain's dead. Looked right across at him, his heartbeat's flat-lined.
"We weren't supposed to awake for another 20 days. SOMETHING'S WRONG WITH THE COMPUTER'S PROGRAMMING DAMNIT!" he said as he rushed to the cockpit.
Jira follows him, "Did you not hear me? He's dead. What do we do about it?"
"Oh s**t. He's the only one, who knows what to do about our computer systems. Seems like we're outta power. Cuz they won't turn on."
"If that's true, we'd have plummeted already."
"Plummet where, Jira? We're in space, there's no gravity."
A huge red light began flashing along with a blaring alarm.
"What now?" he sits down a the controls; opening the cover over the windshields to reveal a giant, greenish-blue planet getting bigger as they got close. "Get to the bridge, I'm gonna need you to nav this thing."
They race to the cockpit, and start figuring out how to do level the ship out.
"Bad news, from the looks of these monitors, we've been hit with an EMP, an electromagnetic pulse."
"I know what an EMP is. How'd we run into it? Shouldn't the computer have alerted us in advance before this problem arises…"
Engaging thrusters, flooding and emptying the ballast tanks. None of that worked. So Jira decided on her own to drop the load of the ship, to make it lighter.
"WHAT THE FU… I don't remember authorizing a purge, Jira?"
"HAD TO DO IT, THE SHIP'S TOO HEAVY WITH ALL THAT s**t WEIGHING IT DOWN!!!
the ship was within 20 yard range of the ground, she purges all the back of the ship, but the last one with the human passengers was stuck. i guess luck was raining down on us.
the ship reaches the 5 yard range and Jira managed to level the ship out, then it hit the ground like a meteor hurtling to earth after pieces of it burned off. pieces of the ship flaked off
the ship starts to burn up on entry. Jira opens the wind shield of the cockpit.
Jones, who awoke after the sound of the ship rattling, was hanging onto to a handle bar as the ship fell apart.
((everything fades to black))
Scene fades in
the ship is in ruins, wires showing, the hull broken, almost everything destroyed.
Everyone else was lucky enough to survive, except the 2nd in command, who was lying in the middle of the passenger area; knife in his heart. Everyone stopped and stared as Jira went over to see if .
"might be able to heal him, do you have any of the G-virus liquid on you?"
"there was some in rear cabin. Problem is there is no rear anymore," responded the one of the passengers.
"clearly, he's on his last leg," says the wise man walking forward and pointing to the body, "this man needs a proper burial."
While the others buried him, Jones was looking for Wulf and Jodan.
He hears a small sound coming from up ahead, reaches for his retractable nightstick, but Wulf was gone.
Just then, He drops in on him and puts him in a headlock, Jones elbows him and eventually, I let go and falls to the ground, Jones was gonna strike him, but he then saw that I was still blindfolded. "Better watch out before one of us ends up getting hurt, just keep in mind, it won't be me."
Few seconds later, Wulf tied up helplessly to a support beam.
"How danger is he?" Jira asked as Jones continued tying the restraints.
"Put it this way," he responds as he finishes tying Wulf down and looks up at Jira. "he put 500 workers in body bags. He and his twin are nothing but trouble."
"There's two of them?"
"Yeh. One of'em got away. But how far could he get?"
"From what me and my shipmate saw, this is a very big planet. FILLED with green forests. So believe me, mister…. Whoever you are, you'll have a long search trying to find him out there."
"Uh-huh." He nods his head with his hands perched on his hips while staring at Jira; mouth partly open with his tongue to his lower lip.
Everyone else checking their surroundings. Nothing but lush green forest in one direction, and a desert opposite the forest.
"What the hell happened, exactly???" asked ninja guardian.
"Electrical system's fried, may have been a roaming EMP. We were lucky enough to all have survived." Responded Jira.
"Well at least we're OK," says Kaira.
Meanwhile, in the storage bay below the passenger areas
This Russian guy digs up his Duffle bag with all his belongings, mostly wine imported from France and Spain.
"This all you have to drink? Wine?"
"Imported wine. From Spain & France. Very expensive. I am gonna need a receipt for this."
"Jira points to the wise man with her flashlight. "I supposed this won't be able to help you at all, will it?"
"I am a child of light, I only cleanse my body with either water or ocean spray® cranberry juice."
"You have any here in the cargo bay?" asked Jones.
"I must've left it back at the port."
"Then you do realize there's no water around?"
"There would be no forest if there were no water…."
"Fine. More for me."
Back inside the cockpit…
"While I'm in here, Jodan is planning to find a way to escape; leaving me here to pay for his crimes. If I'm gonna clear my name, I gotta first get out of these cuffs." Wulf prepare to make my great escape, pull out this canister of be-gone spray, which unfortunately had only a drop left. I sprayed it on the chains, the spot it touched disappeared like magic. I pulled away from the beam, threw the can away, took off my blindfold, and made a run for it.
Jones comes back to check on him, and he's gone. He rushes outside and sees Wulf's restraints towards the desert wasteland part of the area.
"Damnit," he mumbles to himself as he throws the chains to the sand in anger.
Determined to bring both Wulf and Jodan back, Jones loads up on ammo and weapons to venture out into planet's forest.
"If he's gone, then why bother going after him? I mean, if he's outta out hair, what reason would he have to bother us anymore?" Ninja Guardian answered.
"They've been sent to trial, and sentenced to life in jail. If they die here, I'm out of a job."
"Why's that?"
"Cuz they'll think I killed them out of cold blood and did away with the bodies. Now enough questions. I am officially deputizing all of you. I'm gonna need all the help I can get to bring these guys in."
"Do we like get to wear a badge…"
"Lemme get this straight, you're gonna make us into your lil 'deputies' to help you bring in as you so quaintly put it 'the two most dangerous convicts in the known universe' to justice? Are you not even concerned the most about our well-being?" Ninja guardian interrupted.
"Just stick close by me. I know what I'm doing."
"Shouldn't we go in search of water first? Would be best if we go into the forest area first."
"We'll be able to get the water and capture those two all at the same time. The forest was where was heading."
"But didn't you say you found his cuffs be the desert trail?"
"Which means he went towards the forest. He tried this trick many times before. I've picked up on it. There's not a place he can hide. Not even in a huge forest.
In the forest ahead, Wulf is hopping from branch to branch; trying to not leave footprints, as he traverses through the lush green. All around him were strange creatures, which were climbing the trees, slithering and crawling along the ground, or flying through the air. One of the winged creatures approaches Wulf's face.
"Strange creature you are. A strawberry with wings; dragonfly wings…" he said to himself as he reached out his hand.
"A really bizarre planet. Yet so beautifully green." He looks all around and keeps moving while the strawberry dragonfly flies close by him.
Meanwhile, Jodan was far ahead of Wulf; moving in the same direction. He comes to a sudden stop as he hears a noise behind him, "No ordinary hunter could've found me so quickly. It must be… Wulf…" he said with a toothy grin. He continues forward across tree branches high off the ground. "Keep following me, Wulf. Fall into my trap."
Back at the crash site, everyone is prepared to go on the hunt.
Jones, holding a handgun in his left hand while he loads and cocks it, approaches Ninja guardian, hands the gun over to him, "USP .45 handgun, semi-automatic pistol with a mechanically locked breech using the short recoil. Your standard army gun; Effective at both close and mid-range. You see Wulf or Jodan, fire first shot, but DON'T kill them. They must be brought back alive."
"Fine by me."
Jones steps away just when the Russian guy asks him, "Aren't they like hardened criminals? What if they kill us before we can fire?"
"If he kills you, you're dead just like that. We'll hold a short funeral in your honor and move on."
"Can we cut this 'scare you outta your mind' s**t and get going? We're on a timetable with all this. You don't know what kinda creatures dwelling in the woods at night."
"I got all the ammo, so anything in that forest won't be nearly as scary as I am with a gun."
Few minutes later, they enter the forest and are greeted be strange creatures; all the one Wulf saw: Green bell pepper's with eight green legs like a tarantula and your common household spiders, Potatoes with six skinny legs and antennae like a common New York cockroach, and many more.
"Jira. What the hell kinda planet have you crashed us onto?"
"Yeh, some of these things we're seeing, I've seen only my dreams."
"Believe me, guys. This is all a new experience for me as well."
"Think they're edible?" Ninja guardian asked.
"Dude. As long as I've known you, you're always hungry. And I have no idea why."
A strawberry dragonfly approaches Ninja's face, hovering from side-to-side as he examines him. Ninja guardian extends his hand close to it, and in an instant, he snatches from the air and pops it in his mouth; chewing it, savoring all of its sweet juicy taste before he sends it down to his stomach. "Hmm… not ba…" he then starts to choke as if he ate something poisonous; falling lower to the ground, then stands back up after seeing the expressions on everyone's face. "Haha. Couldn't resist it, sorry."
Reaper slaps him in the back of the head.
"What?! You'd have done that, too."
"Not funny, I thought you were gonna die."
"She's right, you know," Kaira replied.
"You ever read the boy who cried wolf"? where the boy kept crying there was a wolf, and when there really was a wolf, and he cried, no one came."
"C'mon, let's keep moving."
"How'd it taste?" Angel petal whispered.
"it was sweet just like a strawberry from earth. I'd expected something like that with wings to taste meaty. But it was so… sweet. AND SUCCULENT!" he said as he scrunched his eyes and smiled after saying "succulent".
Meanwhile, back to Wulf and Jodan.
Wulf was still following far behind Jodan, but trying to catch up to him, "You frame me for a crime you committed, got us both caught, and got us crashed on this forest planet. Well, the forest planet part isn't that bad, but still that's 2 outta 3.
Checking in on Jodan.
"Just keep coming, Wulf." He said as he hides up in the tree above waiting on Wulf to land in his net.
The trap is sprung, the rope net hoists high into the air, Jodan jumps down and looks at the net as the leaves covering it up slowly fall below it. "HOW'S IT HANGING, WULF?! Haha! Get it? Hanging? CUZ YOU'RE IN A NET ABOUT 10 FEET HIGH!"
"Actually, I'm right here. Both feet firmly planted," Wulf replied.
"I guess we ARE alike after all. You saw that from a mile away."
"Your time has to come to pay for what you framed me for."
"I've told you. If you're not with me, then get out of my way. You tried stopping me, and for that, you done all this to yourself."
"But slaughtering all those workers. Was it worth what is about to happen to you? You'll go away forever."
"And that is why, my dear friend, you need to go down WITH ME!!!" Jodan unsheathes his sword and rushed up at Wulf.
"We don't have to do this."
"Yes we do." Jodan reaches Wulf, who unsheathes his sword and blocks his attack. Jodan pulls away and goes for Wulf's legs, he moves his sword in his path again and pulls away; spinning 360 degrees counter-clockwise and aims for Jodan's chest. Jodan jumps back.
Wulf rushes up sword sticking out in front of him like a jousting stick. Jodan drops his sword down on Wulf's sword like a hammer, pivots around to the bottom of the blade and pushes the sword up into the air and out of Wulf's hand, then thrusts his blade at him.
Wulf falls backward and kicks the blade out of Jodan's hand as he back flips onto his onto his hands then back onto his feet.
Jodan jumps up; both feet in a slanted position as he flew towards Wulf, performing a jump-kick. As his feet connected with his, he fell onto his back; sliding back a few inches across the grass. He approaches Wulf, grabbing his shirt, "get up!!" he exclaims as he pulls him onto his feet and tossing him at some tree. He throws a punch to his stomach, then to his Jaw. Wulf blocks and delivers an uppercut to Jodan's jaw. Jodan sprung onto his feet, he runs up; landing a left hook, which Wulf dodged. Jodan hits with a sidekick, Wulf blocked and delivered a kick to the side of his leg above his left knee between his legs, spun around and struck with a kick to Jodan's stomach.
He blocks by grabbing his foot. Wulf then twist around while his foot still rested in Jodan's hands and kicked him in the side of the neck.
Jodan releases as he fell sideways.
Their fight went on for hours as Jones and the other continued the search close to sunset, they caught up with Jodan and Wulf as they were still fighting. Jones fires off a shot in the air, which got their attention, then points the gun back at them. He signals Ninja guardian to follow him. "That's enough from you! My orders are to bring you in. put the restrains on'em. I'll cover ya."
"Who, me? Ninja guardian asked.
"No, the other you. OF COURSE YOU!"
"What if they try to escape or something?"
"If they do, I can get both of them with one blast.
"Once you get'em handcuffed, you think we should head back? Or what?"
"Sun's about to set, we might not want to be moving at night. Need to set up camp."
"But how are we gonna set up camp without any…" Kaira's husband was cut off by the gesture of the Russian man pulling out camping supplies from his bag. "American boy scout motto, 'be prepared'.
After 15 minutes of setting up the tents, a fire, sleeping bags, Wulf, Jodan, Jones, Kaira, Jira, and the rest sit down by the flame as they gaze at the stars.
"Beautiful, aren't they? Kaira asked Angel petal. "Never really can see them all under the lights of a big city."
"Right you are. You'd usually find me out in the woods away from all the buildings, and bright neon signs. Out here, is where I can think clearly."
"Has anyone taken into though what we're gonna eat?" Jira asked.
"Something's tickling me," reaper looks down and sees a bunch of white oval shape pieces, which looked like rice, crawling all over her. "OMFG, ANTS!!!!! GET'EM OFF. GET'EM OFF!!!" she screamed loud enough for the whole woods to hear her.
Kaira moves in closer to examine the strange creature, "Quite remarkable. A grain of rice with six tiny legs and pincers. Their like ants from earth. Look at this, Jamie." Kaira said as she handed one to her husband.
"Ninja get these off of me."
"Russian dude, can you hand me a pot or something?"
"Sure, and name is Yevkovich. You can call me Yev for short." He reaches into his bag; feeling around for cooking pots and pulls out a stainless steel one with a rubber handle and hands it to Ninja.
"Got any water?"
"I am not convenient store, I only have wine…"
"Wine'll work. I've seen a lot of these French cooking shows to know a few recipes. But I might need a lot more than just rice to…" he was cut off by Reaper's screaming.
This time instead of being attacked by rice ants, she was attacked by some sort of red bean type creatures with wings like a housefly.
"Another discovery. Weird insects, which appear to resemble 'red beans' with the wings of a common housefly which is, yet again, from earth."
"It's fascinating you're enjoying this, BUT WHY DO THEY ALWAYS ATTACK ME?!" Reaper cries.
"These'll do just fine, Reaper," Ninja said as he scoops them off of her outfit like he did with the ants. Some of them flying away while others are unable to because of being bunched together as he scooped them up.
He pours a bottle of wine in with them and after an hour of cooking, he prepared some weird, but delicious looking dish with green leaves in it, which resembled bay leaves and but of other herbs and spices.
Since there were no plates, Kaira just carves sticks into eating utensils and everyone ate out of the pot.
The time then came for them to get some rest, sleep off some of the energy with how it's too late at night.
Only one, who didn't sleep was Jodan, who constantly kept picking at the lock on his shackles. Angel petal awoke to sounds of Jodan's effort to break free, being careful not to alert him of her presence.
The next morning, everyone except Jodan was there to join in the early morning breakfast.
Jones, who woke up before all the rest, threw the restraints down as soon as he went over and noticed them laying there. "It's a wonder you didn't run off with him."
"Sarcasm… funny. Too bad it won't help you find him," Wulf replied.
"Listen here," Jones exclaimed. "Whether I'm fired or not, I WILL kill you," he said, as he marches up; pointing a shotgun in his face.
"How bout I just tell everyone who you are?" Wulf whispered.
"You won't get the chance to," Jones whispered back.
"Just stop it. You two. This isn't doing anything, but promoting more shooting and killing."
"How bout I help you find him?"
"How are you gonna…"
"I can follow his scent," Wulf interrupted.
"Will you cut me loose if I do this for you?"
"I believe "THAT" isn't up to me. But I can see to it that you get a shortened sentence for good behavior."
"Well then, let's get to it. Sooner the better, right?"
"Sooner the better," Jones repeated.
2 hours later, they all pack up the gear and head out again. The trees continued to get wider and taller as they traverse the wondrous forest. In certain areas, it was hard for the sun to shine through; making it a bit darker.
Jira approaches Jones; now walking alongside him, she then asks him, "You sure you can trust him? Can he really follow his scent?"
"He's been one stop ahead of me ever since I first began tracking him. I have no doubt he can do it.
Meanwhile, in the back of the group, Wulf is approached by the Russian guy, who extends his hand towards Wulf, who pauses as he look down at it.
"We haven't officially met. I'm Yevkovich, Wine collector, and Art dealer."
"Wulf ninja warrior, wanderer, traveler, Ex-con," Wulf replied as he shook the Russian's hand.
"TOO COOL!!!" Angel petal exclaimed with Joy as she and the others approached three separate streams of chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream, which began connecting to each other.
"It's a Neopolitan river. As in the name of the three ice cream flavors put together as one. Those flavors obviously are strawberry, chocolate and vanilla."
"And it seems more or less like Jodan's direction."
"How do you know?"
"Remember? I can follow his scent. An added bonus, he stepped in the river and his footprints are heading in that direction."
"Let's get going then. After you, Wulf."
Wulf looks back at Jones with a blank stare as he moves forward.
As they all press onward, Kaira is licking on an ice cream cone.
"Where'd you get that?"
"Hello…. Ice cream river, ice cream. Duh."
"I meant… the cone. Where'd you get that? I carry them around with me."
"You brought those all the way from the planet we were on?"
"What… we needed some for home. I found this to be the perfect opportunity to…" she paused dramatically as she saw something that caught her attention up ahead.
"What? What is it? Did you get brain-freeze?"
"Nice silly, look!" she said as she turned her husband's head in the direction of the mountain, a geyser, and what appears to be a swamp."
"Wow."
"Is this whole planet something out of a child's imagination?"
"If it is, then I wanna be young again. HAHA!" Kaira jumps for joy as she rushed towards the strawberry geyser.
"A strawberry geyser. A vanilla mountain, and chocolate swamp with ice cream cones planted in the ground like grass. We could make a paradise out of this place."
"Speaking of paradise, you think we can maybe rest here for a while?"
Jones pauses for a while before giving his answer, "Yeh, I guess."
15 minutes later, Kaira and Jamie set out to investigate the Vanilla Mountain.
Getting closer, Jamie notices a small hole in the back. He begins to dig the edges out and make it wider, so he can get in and see what's on the other side. Digging enough of the sides out, he crawled inside, with a flashlight; looking around and saw nothing. He looked up further and saw a set of teeth moving towards him. He reaches for his gun and tries shooting it, but it kept sinking its teeth into him as he screamed and screamed.
"Jamie?" Kaira called out. She ran to check on him and in the direction of the cry for help, there was nothing but blood all around. "Jamie! No!!!" she looks up and Jodan was standing in the distance. He took off running, but only got 1 yard away before Wulf stepped in and tripped him.
Jodan tries to get up, Wulf kicks him in the side; knocking him into a tree. He hits him with a punch to the jaw, then a second hit, which Jodan blocked and strikes with a fan kick. Wulf ducked under it; punching Jodan's leg; knocking his leg from under him and making him do the splits. Through Jodan's eyes, everything went black after Wulf delivers a kick between his eyes.
A splash of cold wine hits his face; he wakes up to find himself chained to a pillar inside of a tent with Kaira staring him in the face. "You're awake, finally. Now where's Jamie's body."
"I don't know what you're…"
"Don't gimme that bullshit. You were there. There's blood with your name written on it (so to speak). And you're sitting here and lying about even having anything to do with it?!"
"Kaira. That's enough."
Kaira didn't respond; she just stood there.
"Leave. Now!" Jira commanded.
Kaira relaxes her shoulders, turns around and exits the tent; whispering, "Watch yourself around him. You might be next."
"Just leave."
"You want outta those chains, you gotta tell us where his body is? You were there when it happened. Either you did it or you can tell us for certain who really killed him?"
"I can honestly say I know nothing about this."
"Oh, so you were in the wrong place at the wrong time," Jira asked, sarcastically. "Like I haven't heard that line used in a long time."
"Funny thing is, you all fear me. And just because of Jones told you about me."
"You killed all those workers on the docks. Isn't that reason enough for us to fear you? You're a maniac, who deserves to be locked up."
"Think what you will. I did what I needed to do. But did I kill Jamie? No. Wrong guy here."
"We've checked and his corpse isn't in there."
"Well, look deeper."
Outside near the Vanilla Mountain. Jira, with about 10 feet of really thick black rope, is seen walking around the back near the crime scene.
"You actually believe Jodan on this whole 'I'm the wrong guy' routine? He could be leading into a trap."
"If he was, he would've said for me to check it out a alone with all of you were too busy to look out for me."
"Jira, this is ******** suicide. What if he is telling the truth like you so quaintly put it, what'll you do when you find out?"
"Know what, Jones. I know what I'm doing, no just hold the rope, and when I give three tugs, pull me out."
"Your strength's as close to being his as Gabe Law in 'the one'."
"Get one thing straight. My strength may mirror his, but I'm not him." Wulf answered.
"I'm not saying you are…"
Meanwhile, while they were talking, Jira crawls deeper inside the tunnel until she reaches a cave of vanilla (solid as rock and white as snow) with a temperature of below 60. She explores deeper; finding nothing but more vanilla lining the walls of the mountain cave. No light, or anything. Soon, she hears a low growling sound from up ahead and a pair of red beady eyes like a demon, staring back at her as it got closer. Jira steps backward towards the entrance, turns around to see the tail of some creature move in front of the light. Knowing that she can't get out that way now, she continues looking back and forth at both of the creatures' eyes.
Meanwhile, outside.
"She's been in there too long."
"She'll give the signal to pull her out if she's in trouble.
Little did they know, she was actually in trouble and tugging three times for them to pull her out would only get her killed by the ravenous beasts.
Knowing something was wrong, Wulf went in after her.
"Where are you going?"
"Just one of those hunches, Wise man."
"Jira?" Wulf called.
But no answer.
He calls her again, and still no answer. Going deeper he finds her standing in the center of the room.
"Wulf." She whispered. "Look to your left.
He looks to his left, confused at what she's pointing to, a pair of paws reach out towards, claws extended.
Wulf grabs them by the leg; keeping them as far back as he can from his face. "Head for the exit!" he exclaimed as he held back the creature's paws.
Jira nods and rushes past the beast and Wulf back out into the daylight and fresh air.
Wulf tosses the monster aside, unsheathes his katana and cuts through its neck, pulls back, plants his foot on its face and stabs it in the ribs. He sheathes his sword as he follows after Jira.
Meanwhile outside of the cave.
"Jira. You're ok. Where's Wulf?" Ninja guardian asked.
"He just saved my life. There were these…. Huge things with beady red eyes and sharp claws. They had me cornered. Wulf fought them off, I dunno if he's still…"
"Alive?" Wulf finished.
"What are those things?" Jira asked.
"Nice to see you care about me," he said with sarcasm. "Their entire body felt like rock. On the outside… weird thing was they had blood and organs. Couldn't see them to know what they look like.
A few minutes or more later, with Jodan still restraint inside the tent. Jones stepped in.
Jodan looks up at him, "Judging by your expression, you found the real culprit?"
"Here's the deal. If we're to get off this rock, we all need to work together to find a moral solution. I'm giving you the opportunity to be the good guy. I'll get rid of the shackles if you cooperate."
"Why? I'll still be going back to a jail cell after. You want my help? 'Make me an offer I cannot refuse'."
"What do you want?"
Jodan pauses; looking around Jones towards the entrance of the tent to see if anyone's listening. "I want Wulf ninja warrior gone. The only type of gone that is permanent."
"Done. In exchange, you get freedom. Although, I'm not responsible for if you get caught by some other bounty hunter besides me."
"Just make his dead nice and neat. No witnesses."
"Might wanna lower your head," Jones said as he pointed a shotgun at Jodan.
Jodan did as he was told and Jones shoots the restraints; setting him free. "I know we have a deal, but let's shake on it to make it official." Jones lowers the gun and extends his right hand. Jodan extends his hand as well, but quickly reaches for the gun and aims at Jones's forehead, "Couldn't you have just used the keys, that was too close."
"Sorry, just wanted to spook ya a bit."
"I usually don't scare as easy. Remember that."
Jones walks outside and notices Wulf practicing his swordsmanship.
"How much of that did you hear?" he asked.
"How much of what?" Wulf responded.
"Never mind."
"Yep. Just been here practicing. Gotta get stronger."
"Keep at it, then," Jones replied. Then he mumbled as he walked off, "You're gonna need it."
"People. We move on in 30 minutes. Keep those things as far from us as possible."
"Just a few more scoops before we go. I can tell it's gonna be a hot day," Kaira said.
Half an hour later, with their gear packed up, they mush on further into the huge forest.
"Brave thing you did. Coming in to rescue me."
"You're welcome."
"How'd you know I need help? I never said anything. Never cried out."
"Just a random hunch. It's like I could sense your aura. Don't know for certain."
"I wouldn't be still breathing if it weren't for you. That's for certain."
"QUIET, GUYS! Listen," Jodan instructs.
A low, rumbling sound could be heard from far up ahead.
"Whaddaya think it is?" Reaper asked.
"Earthquake?" Ninja guardian asked.
"Maybe… but what other options are there?"
"One option: stop standing here, listening. We're burning light here," Kaira explained.
They keep moving; watching all around them. Wulf, and Angel take the lead; leaving the others behind. just then, a great force knocks over a huge tree as wide as three elephants' backsides put together and as tall as, which was aiming for Angel. Wulf leapt in and tackled her out of the way.
"What the hell was that?"
"Told you it was an earthquake."
"Shut up, ninja."
"Yeh. Something pushed that tree over."
"Can't we go around it? Instead of standing here?"
"Yes. But it might take too long, seeing as the tree-line is too thick for us to get through.
On the other side, Wulf carries Angel in his arms as he moves further down the path.
She starts to wake up. The first thing she sees is Wulf's head hovering over her as he carried her. "What's going on? What happened?"
"I saved you from almost being crushed."
"Think maybe you can put me down now? I can walk from here."
"Sure. Sorry." He tilts down to his right; lowering her feet to the ground.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
"It's almost dark, maybe we should rest up."
"My thoughts exactly."
As nightfall came, Wulf and Angel sat around a warm fire; gazing at what stars they could see through the bushel of trees.
"I was telling Kaira the other day about how beautiful the stars are away from the city lights. You can see a lot more of them because the sky's darker. No neon signs, fluorescents, and street lamps."
"It's also quiet. I can't tell you how much I like being away from rushing cars, buses, and the sounds of horns."
"You're not like him are you?"
"Like who? Jodan? No. and I don't want to be. Just wish there was something I could've done to stop his slaughter. He killed 500 people, you know. I was there."
"If you're as innocent as you say, why not try to make someone believe you?"
"Jones won't believe me, who will?"
"You got me on your side."
"That's comforting to hear. But one person is not enough." Wulf answers as he lays down to rest."
"You're just gonna give up and keep running?"
"Nope. I'm gonna get some rest, which what you should do, then… I'mma keep running."
The next morning
Wulf and Angel continue their journey down the path, not knowing what's up ahead.
"So where you from?"
"Originally from Planet Gaia, But born in a whole different start system than where Gaia is. In 2004, I was just visiting to see if I wanna live there, then I made it official sometime after. What about you?"
"Don't know. I have no memory of my birth. Not even where I lived after…"
"No memory at all? You're not trying to fool me are you? Cuz it's not working.
"It's the truth. I keep having these dreams.
"What dreams?"
"I'm in a tube surrounded by green liquid; breathing through a tube when I'm asleep, I see this mirror in front of me, except in the reflection, it isn't me. Yet he… moves like me. When it my reflection catches me off guard, it pulls out a shiv (a blade of sorts) and stabs me through the heart. I wake up to see myself inside the tube, looking out at a lab or something. Scientists walking about; running tests, scanning bio-signs, etc. after that, that's all I know."
"You remember nothing else?"
"Nothing, except… the lab exploding, myself lying on a floor and rescued by some ninja. Her face was covered completely, but I was certain it was a girl. She let it slip what color hair she had, because she never concealed it."
"What color hair did she have?"
"Pink. And it was in a braided ponytail."
When'd this happen?"
"Sometime in 2004.
"Could just be a coincidence, but I think it may have been around the time of the Gambino mansion explosion."
"What? So you're saying it's not all a dream? But reality?"
"Might be."
"But what's all that got to do with Jodan? He wasn't there, was he?" "Did you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"Sounds like footsteps; marching towards us."
Wulf cautiously turns around only to see long, white radish looking things with white feet and hooves like a horse, rushing towards in a pattern like a stampede.
"What could they be running from?" he asks as he watches them run in the direction they're heading.
"Maybe that might have something to do with it," Angel points to a giant cheeseburger with large, bread crust colored rhino-like legs, angry eyes, and a large horn on what is assumed its nose stamping behind the horseradishes.
"Well… you know what they about 'when in Rome'…" Wulf said as he grabs onto one of the horseradishes and rides off.
"WULF!!! WAIT!" Angel exclaims as she jumps up on one of them and follows Wulf ninja. She rides up alongside him.
"Nice of you to join me. Thought you would've stay back there and became a permanent part of the soil."
"Oh shut up, Wulf! Let's just try to outrun this thing first."
They ride down the pathway; Cheeseburger rhino still behind them, stomping mudholes in the ground as it desperately tried catching up with them. Angel looks back to see it gobble up some of the straggling horseradishes. "In all my life, never have I seen a cheeseburger that eats you instead of the other way around."
"It seems to mimic the rampaging rhino, but aren't they vegetarians?" Wulf asked.
"Aren't the things we're riding vegetables of some kind?"
"I guess so."
They move through trees, and over rocks as they outrun the rampaging rhino as it gained on the herd of horseradishes and the two, smashing through trees as he stamped down the path. They then eventually reach a rock wall. Wulf notices an opening to the left and rushes through with Angel close behind him.
The herd spews through like water from a leaky pipe. The rhino runs around on the right, up a ramp and jumps over to the other side where he marches down a ramp and back behind them.
"Persistent, isn't it?" answered Angel petal.
With the herd and the rhino close behind them, they approach a cliff and come to a halt. "A little too close don't you think."
The herd bumps up against their rear and send them sliding down the slope. Sparks came from the hooves of the horses as they slid down. A few feet down, they trip over a rock poking out and go tumbling down the slope and into a puddle of mud.
"What a way to start off the morning," Wulf shouted. "Chased by a rhino down a cliff and land in a puddle of chocolate." He scoops up some in his hand, tastes it and spits it out as soon as it hits his taste buds, "Yuck. IT'S MUD!!!!"
Angel petal busts out laughing hard at his misfortune.
"Think that funny?" he said with a grin as he takes the mud still in his hand, walks over to her while she was too busy laughing and slaps it in her face like the classic scene in an old movie where someone shoves a pie in a person's face.
"Hey…. What was that for?"
"Haha. See how you like the taste of mud."
PostPosted: Tue Apr 30, 2013 11:46 pm

She retaliates be scooping up some mud, slapping into his face and rubbing it in. Wulf picks up more mud, pulls open the top of her blouse and dumps the mud on her chest.
They both laugh at each other, and slowly stop as they looked into each other's eyes like two love-struck teens meeting for the first time; moving in closer, their lips touch and in the background of their mind, fireworks began bursting in the air. They grab onto each other and wrestle down to the ground; not caring that they're in the puddle of mud.
5 hours later, Jodan and the others made it around the tree, walking along until Jodan picks up Wulf and Angel's trail. "They came through here not too long ago. Judging by the fact that some of these footprints are hooves, they were riding horses, probably like a hundred of them or more. These larger prints dictate that they were pursued by a much larger entity." Jodan looks up further at some sort of yellow substance spilled on the ground and moves up to it. Picking up a bit of it with his fingers, he brings it up to his nose and sniffs it. "It's mustard. Just as I suspected."
"What was like you suspected?"
"It's the dreaded cheeseburger rhino. Only it can leave a mustard trail his big. It has large, round body that consists of a bun with sesame seed, all-beef patty, mustard, pickle, ketchup, and a horn made of mayonnaise."
"How do you know that?"
"I hunted on when I was out here once. I was hungry. Anyway, their trail continues."
Back to Wulf and Angel, who went out in search of a stream to bathe in.
"That was like so much fun. Think maybe we can do that again sometime?" Angel asked.
"Yeh, if you can find a spa that is cheap."
"That's everyone's problem in life. Not wanting to spend."
"And everyone else's problem: wanting to spend so much until they run out, become poor and end up on the streets."
"I agree. But you gotta spend once in a while. Else the money's gonna do nothing but sit there. (will, that's unless you put it in a saving's account or something) but NONETHELESS, your money'll be of no use just sitting there in your deposit box."
"Whoa, Check it out. You see what I see?"
"I dunno, are looking at a stream of water?!" Angel replied as she jumps with glee then runs towards it."
"Finally, something normal about this planet. A plain lake; no chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla."
"Uhm. Wulf. Just one problem here: it's soda."
"What?" Wulf answered, sounding confused.
"Taste some for yourself."
"Does this planet have a sugary core or something? How does this stuff just pop up in rivers, and stuff?"
"Must you always question something's existence? You sound like my dull-witted sister," Angel said with a disappointed stare.
While they were bathing, Jodan was still tracking their scent. A couple of hours later, the trail leads them to a slope.
"They went down here. "
"You're kidding, right?" Reaper asked.
"Nice Joke, Jodan."
"I'm serious. They came to a halt, but were pushed over by the herd following them. The rhino didn't follow. He went the other way. It didn't want them, it only wanted the herd. My guess is, it's a vegetarian and whatever our friends were riding on were made of a vegetable."
"What makes you so sure?"
"Before you make a fool of yourself be asking idiot questions, look to your left."
Ninja guardian looks over at a dead horseradish with bite marks in its side.
"Quite remarkable. A common Horseradish of earth with horse legs. I'm still bothered by how this planet came into existence? Because all we've seen are unheard of."
"Hate to ruin your discovery channel moment, but one way or the other, we gotta make it down this hill."
"Will these help?" the Russian guy asked as he pulled out several large skateboards with mini-monster truck-like wheels on the bottom.
"Yev. You never cease to amaze."
Everyone except Jira gets on the skateboards.
"You think I'm getting on this thing, you gotta be out your…" she was cut off as someone extended their arm out and dragged her along.
Back to Angel and Wulf, who were completely naked in the Lake of soda.
"What? Why are you staring at me?"
"Just think you look beautiful."
"You're saying that just cuz I'm naked in a pool of carbonated water and high fructose corn syrup and other ingredients."
"That may be, but I still think you're good looking."
"Easy there, don't you think we're going too fast here?"
"No way. Besides you kissed me first, girly."
"Mind if I ask… why do you wear glasses? Do you have bad eyesight?"
"They're just as a fashion statement. Or do you not know about that stuff?"
"I know about fashion, it's just… those are wh at Gaia considers emo glasses," She giggled.
He stares, then says, "I don't care what other's think. They all can be judgmental, but I don't give a ******** lean in towards each other; eyes half open while staring at each other; Lips about to touch, but Angel pauses, "Wait. What are we doing?"
"Yeh, what ARE you two doing?" Jones interrupted.
"We were dirty; fell into some mud and needed to get clean."
"Looks more to me like you're getting even 'more' dirtier, huh Wulf?" Jodan asked.
"Not like that," Wulf calmly said with no trace of emotion. We just… got lost in the moment. I mean we ARE bathing in a lake of soda after all," Wulf explain; looking in Angel petal's direction.
"Nice to see you guys, how'd you know where to find us?"
"Thank Jodan. He's the one, who picked up your scent. Glad to see you escaped that weird rhino."
"Well, maybe it was mad about something. Maybe someone close to it was getting revenge and thought I was someone else…" Wulf looks up at Jodan, angrily.
Jodan stares back even harder.
"This planet's both a dream AND a nightmare."
"Yeh. I'd love to stay and examine more of its most intensive aspects, but there's the problem of these mysterious beasts that attacked Jira. We stay, no one is safe," the Wise Man said.
"They don't seem to fond sunlight, I assume from how they stick to the dark caves."
"Maybe they're waiting for something," replied the wise man.
"Really? Then what, huh? What are they waiting on? Cuz if they love sunlight, then why don't they just attack right now; turn us all into chow?"
"Like a lion in the savannah jungle. They toy with their prey before eating them. Same principle could apply to these monsters. They could be waiting until we are more vulnerable. They know something we don't…" the wise man's voice trails off.
In the course of 2 and a half hours, the group continue wandering the forest when they came across an abandoned campsite in the middle of an area heavily populated with trees, rocks with moss facing the north side, green grass, and more weird creatures.
"First good thing that happened while we're out here. We're not the only ones, who crashed here."
"Maybe it's such a good sign after all," Jira responded as she looked around; picking stuff up and examining it. "This equipment seems many years old."
"What the hell happened here?" Ninja guardian asked.
"Something scared them off. Don't know what, there's footprints scattered all over. Human footprints, human-animal hybrids, and animal footprints. My gut feeling says those creatures from the cave. No blood, no bodies. Which means they dragged them off and ate'em elsewhere."
"Hold on, Wulf. One over here almost got away. He shot one in its shoulder on its right front leg, they got away, but were attacked by two more when running in that direction," Jodan explained as he pointed west.
"What I wouldn't give to be able to track like these guys."
"Comes with the territory. It's like we were born with it," Jodan answered.
the wise man speaks to his sons in their native language as they were looking at weird looking tracks in dirt. His children answer back and the wise man translates, "Seems like they found something." He rushes over to them and the others, including Wulf and Jodan, follow.
"Sonofabitch. I forgot about my truck. Back at that port on the planet. I left it when I was running from the scene. I might have to collect it from the impound."
"Focus, Wulf."
"Some of them took off in a Cargo-carrying truck thing. They didn't get far before they start losing control and crashed. Dealing with whatever those things are, they probably didn't know how to kill them."
"One other possibility being that they didn't have enough ammo to kill them all."
"Ok, spread out. See if you can find something that can explain what happened."
The wise man's three sons look around near a big blue tent with an antenna coming out of the top.
Jodan looks around near another tent, and noticed an odd motion drawn in the dirt; a trail of someone being dragged out and the person seemed as though they were reaching for something. He walks up in and saw a weird looking video monitor lying on the ground, picked it up and dusted it off. As he turned it on, a voice said, "Playing last transmission."
"If anyone can still hear us, the Limestone tiger things have followed us to the ship. At this time, it will be far too risky to make another pass to come get you. I am regret to say… we are leaving you." The guy looks back at the pilot, as she's trying to fix the problem with the Ship's system. "Why isn't it taking off?"
"It says we need more power, maybe we should've brought the remaining cells."
"s**t. I guess we gotta go back. Listen. You guys got lucky, we're heading back your way." The man was then mauled by one of the tigers as dark clouds, which appeared to be smoke clouds, appeared in the east; making their way closer to their position.
The camera on the transmission device was still displaying an image. The blue sky turned an orangish-red, the clouds moved in closer practically covering the sky as fireballs rained down from above; one of them collided with the monitor and all that could be seen and heard was static. After the transmission ended, Jodan puts the device in his pocket and steps outside into the fresh air up to Jira.
"Find anything?" she asked.
"Nope. Not a damn thing.
"Well, it's not a total loss. I found a bunker with fuel cells. Those similar to what most common aircrafts use. Which means they must be an escape ship somewhere nearby."
"Where? I don't see one."
"It must be further ahead, usually when a ship is about to crash, they relieve some pressure, lighten their load and all that s**t. They had to have dropped such a heavy ship as their emergency escape vessel somewhere around here as they entered the atmosphere."
"I know the procedure. Are you even sure that it could still be there?"
"The sooner we find out, the better the opportunity that we suffer the fate of the bastards who were here before us."
"It's got to be a few miles out, how do we get there?"
"We walk. Like we've been doing all along."
Jira stands there with no response, no emotion; just staring at Jones as if her were out of his mind.
"Look, it's our only option. Plus, It's best only a few of us go. The more we have in the group, the more we'll slow down and it's getting dark soon."
"Fine. I'll go with you."
"No."
"I'm the captain now, I have the best navigational experience, so I'm going. No argument."
"You're gonna need protection, I'll go," Wulf responded.
"No, Wulf. Allow me," Jodan intervened.
"Ok, Jodan," Wulf replied, who saw Jodan as being suspicious. "I'll stay behind and protect them."
"Take these with you," Kaira replied as she tossed a couple of walkie-talkies toward Jones and Jira. "So we can stay in contact."
15 minutes later.
A feeling of hunger came over Kaira, the wise man and the others as Ninja guardian, Reaper, and Kaira searched the grounds for anything they could salvage. Reaper, who was struggling with a heavy piece of machinery no bigger than she was, heard a huge rumbling noise, like footsteps of a massive army, heading towards her and the others.
"Yev, tell me that was your stomach?"
Yev didn't answer.
Kaira called out his name again, this time even louder. Still no answer.
As the rumbling got closer and closer, the wise Indian ushers his sons to safety.
"Good idea," Kaira responded as she took cover behind the huge machine Reaper was trying to turn upright.
The sound gets louder, Some of the tree were knocked over as a colossal Cheeseburger Rhino stomped into the campsite with Yevkovich on top, riding it like a bucking bronco. He grips the reign he put on it tightly; tight enough to choke it, and it crashes to the ground, face-first. "How's 'THAT' for service," he said with a toothy grin of excitement.
"Yev?! You NEARLY SCARED US HALF TO DEATH! I thought we were under attack."
"Well that horrific incident is over, let's eat!"
another 5 minutes later.
"Anyone else feel like fries and a soda?"
All the others laughed softly as they ate a piece of the huge Cheeseburger Rhino.
"Well, to remedy that," Angel petal answered as she reached into her bag, "I bottled up some of the soda from when Wulf and I were a the lake."
"The one you two bathed in?"
"Yes, but it was a big lake, so I got some where it was clean and mud-free."
"Speaking of Wulf, where is he?"
It was getting close to nightfall and the tip of a giant glass-like figure appeared in the direction the sun was going to set and was slowly beginning to rise.
"Well, Jones. You got lucky."
"And still intact, too. So what's the status?"
"The two cells give off just enough power to run a check on all the system components, but it needs three more to make it work."
"Think we can get back the camp and haul them back here in time?"
"Like you said, Jones. Sooner the better."
"Well, I'm gonna locate Jodan. Make sure he don't get in no trouble."
"Good luck with that," Jira answered as Jones steps outside; unaware of Wulf's presence. She heard footsteps stepping back onto the craft, "Lose something, J…" she paused as she turned around and saw Wulf standing in the doorway.
"Surprised to see me?"
"I thought you were back with the others?"
"I was, but… I figured Jodan couldn't be trusted. I feel as though since stopping at the campsite, he's been hiding something."
"What's makes you think that?"
While Wulf and Jira had their little chat, Jones walks towards the huge armored truck where he found Jodan.
"Well?" Jodan asked.
"We need three more cells to operate the ship, there was only enough for a system check."
"Now, do we still have a deal about what to do with Wulf?"
"I'd keep your voice down if I were you, Wulf is here as well, and we don't want him getting wind of our assassination plan."
"I know he's here. Talking with Jira no doubt. He must know about the device I found."
"What device?"
Jodan pulls the video-com device from his front pocket and hands it to Jones. "Shows the previous group that were here before us, being attacked by some tiger things made of stone, Also a weird firestorm of some sort. Happened around this time long time ago according to the date."
"Shouldn't we show this to Jira?"
"No. She's so chummy with Wulf, let the storm come and watch her skinny a** burn."
"I like your thinking, but who's gonna pilot the craft?"
"Are you forgetting how I got away during our last encounter?"
"Oh right, killed the pilot, read the manual and took off."
"You handle Wulf, and I'll take care of the woman."
Half an hour later, Wulf, Jira, Jones, and Jodan reunite as they board the truck.
"Wait. Wait. When'd he get here?" Jones asked. Sounding surprised.
"He followed us here, I guess. I'm just as surprised as you are. Now let's go," Jira said as she got in the driver seat. She pulls down the overhead visor and finds the keys, she puts them in the ignition, shifts into high gear, and off they went.
In the sky, the glass-like figure was still rising in the afternoon sky; slowly making its way in front of the sun as Jira and the others drive through a path of trees, and bushes, making their way back to the camp where everyone else is.
Half an hour's passed and the figure, which appeared to be a giant magnifying glass was less than 3 feet away from the sun.
Back at the camp, the others continue finishing the remains of what they don't know may be their last meal on the planet.
A family of potato roaches make their way into their midst. As they nibble on a piece of the Cheeseburger Rhino, they shook like they shivering from the cold, and broke off into little French fries; crispy and fresh to the taste.
"So cool. Did you see that?"
"Yeh, I did. They just broke off into French fries. Quite remarkable."
"If only it were that way on earth."
Back to Jira, Wulf, Jones, and Jodan, who were still racing along when the giant magnifying glass moves in front of the sun; blinding them for a brief moment with a brilliant flash of light before dimming.
"What was that about?!"
"I dunno!"
"Look out!" Jodan exclaimed as he pointed out in front of them as a fireball dropped like a asteroid fragment from the sky followed by more balls of fire.
Jones whispered to Jodan, "Well, Jodan. When you're right, your right."
"What are you two whispering about?"
"Uhh…. Nothing." They both replied in unison.
"This thing's solar powered, we gotta get back before the sun is blocked out by the clouds."
The fireballs continued raining down like it were Satan's revenge. Tree began catching fire, withering from the flames' intense heat, smoke rising into the atmosphere, which could be seen by the others back at the camp.
"What the hell is that?"
At the same time, something was racing towards them like a stampede of wild animals.
"Whatever it is, it's not our only concern," Kaira said as she turned to the sound of the stampede. She armed herself with a large piece of metal lying next to her and from one direction, a bunch of limestone tigers; jumping out at their prey. In the other direction, a huge armored truck came crashing in; left front tire running over a boulder and tipping over on its side.
Wulf jumps in hits one of the beasts with a slash to the neck, blood gushed out as it hit the ground. Another one leapt in from the right, Wulf spun around and gave it a kick the side of the face, spins around towards Kaira, leans over with one foot in the air behind him as he reaches for her gun and shoots the tiger in between the eyes.
Jodan leapt in front of the wise man in his sons as a tiger pounces on them and stabs his blade through its mouth and out the back of its head then pulls it out. Another pounces from the left; almost catching Jodan off-guard. Jodan caught its paws with his paws; desperately holding it back.
The man and his boys ran to safety as Jodan held off the beast. His arms began getting weak as it fought against his hold while snapping and snarling at Jodan, who pushes him back, stabs his sword in his chest, reaches for a knife, grabbed the tiger by the neck, places his blade above his arm as he held on with a tight grip and glides his blade along the beast's stony exterior and tosses him aside; pulling his sword out of it.
While Wulf fought of the ones in front of him, one grabbed Kaira by the leg from behind and dragged her off into the tree.
"KAIRA!!!!!" Wulf yelled out.
Loud crunching sounds could be heard from beyond the trees along with a loud, ear-splitting scream, which was cut off after two seconds.
"Nothing much we can do. We gotta watch our own backs," Jodan replied.
"And how would you feel if it were you getting eaten? HUH, JODAN?!"
Jira lays a hand on Wulf's shoulder, "He's right. You did all you could. Now we have to move on. Get the cells to the ship and take off."
"And how we do that, captain?" Jones exclaims. "That truck is solar, and the clouds are blocking out the sun, meaning it won't work."
"It's got to have battery supply," Yevkovich answered.
"You're right, Yev. But the guys who used it before never bothered to recharge it."
"So we juice it up."
"I've checked, there's no charging station anywhere here."
"No charging station? That's bullshit, Jodan." Wulf said.
"Check yourself, if you don't believe."
"We don't have time! The limestone tigers will be back. We need to carry the cells, or whatever it takes."
Those things have gotta be a ********' ton. And you want us to carry them?"
"There's an old fashion sled used in sled dog races in the back of the crashed truck. Maybe we can use that."
"Look. We can stand here arguing, or we can make this work. Who's with me?"
"You're certain we can do this?"
"We have these two lead, we'll do fine," Jira explained, pointing to Wulf ninja and Jodan."
An hour of gathering the fuel cells, grabbing the sled off the truck, and setting the cells on it, they mush on towards the emergency aircraft; flames burning all around, tree being reduced to nothing but firewood and ash, skies ridded of their blue color and replaced with the dark gray of the clouds.
All the forms of wildlife either running from the flames or being chased down by the limestone tigers in the far off distances as the group traversed the dying forest.
Jira, Yev, Ninja guardian, Reaper, and the wise man and his sons left to carry the sled.
"You've been awfully chummy with Jones for someone, who is his payday. Whatever deal you have with him, how sure are you he'll deliver on his promise," Wulf whispered to Jodan.
"What business is it of yours whether I can trust him or not?"
"It's not any of my business. But you'll end up either dead, or back in the slammer. Don't mean me no never mind."
Meanwhile, at the back of the group, the other cautiously looked around them to make sure nothing snuck up on them.
Sounds could be heard from all around; sounds of animals being eaten by the ravenous beasts as the trees and other foliage burned around them.
Darkness slowly crept upon the woods as they moved on and on; heading across a bridge hovering a huge canyon
Out of nowhere, a fireball falls on the bridge; rapidly burning through it and makes it collapse into the depths below; cutting Jira, the wise man and his sons, Reaper, Ninja guardian, Wulf and angel petal off from Jodan and Jones.
"Not this again," Jira shouted.
"Yelling at it won't do anything. We need to go around and quickly! Before we are too far behind them."
They continue moving left trying to find another way across, while Jodan, Jones, and continue on without them.
"Quite the body count we're stacking up here. First half the passengers from the ship, now Jamie, and Kaira."
"Not much of a body count if you ask me."
"Oh, right. It's nothing compared to how many you and Wulf killed. How many was it? 300?"
"More like 500 and I'm think of adding one more," Jodan looks up as Jones looks into his eyes with distrust, and beads of sweat dripping down the side of his face.
They each exchange stares like two cowboys in an old western, Jones draws his shotgun as Jodan drew his sword and pushed the barrel into the air as it fired off a shot that could be heard by the others from far away.
"Sounds like they're in trouble. Let's move!" the wise man pointed out as he lead the others towards them.
Jodan lands a left jab under Jones' chin, and back flips; kicking the gun out of his hand three feet in the air.
Jones hits with a right cross beside Jodan's eyes.
Jodan kicks him in the right leg, kicks with his right leg into his waist, plants his left foot on his chest and lifts up as he spins his right leg around and dealt a devastating blow to Jones' Jaw; knocking him into a tree face-first. "Wulf's right. You can't be trusted. Consider our deal terminated. I'll deal with him myself.
Jones wipes the blood from his lip, reaches to his right and pulls out a handgun. When fires off another shot, time slows to half speed as Jodan, moves his blade in the path of the bullet and deflects it, pivots around and throws his sword like a dart at Jones, who dives out of the way.
Jones runs up to Jodan the same time he does. Jodan draws back his left arm, open palm, as he moves in closer then thrusts it forward, Jones blocked, Jodan hits with a palm thrust to the face from his other hand, Jones ducks under it, rises back up and delivers a kick to Jodan's waist, but he blocks by grabbing his foot. He smiles at him as he still held his foot up at a 90-degree angle, and flips him backwards.
He spins backwards, Jodan waits until he is facing him in mid-air before belting a kick into his stomach; knocking him flat onto his back.
"Get up!" he exclaimed, "It ain't over yet." He marches over and pulls back up onto his feet and dealt a hard punch to the left side of his jaw, steps back a few feet, runs back up, plants his right foot into his chest; walking up his body and standing on his shoulders where he twists his pelvis around and snaps Jones' neck bone resulting in instant death. "You're next, Wulf…" he mumbles to himself as he walks off; leaving Jones' body for the beasts.
Hour and a half later, Jira and the group reunite with Jodan; wondering about the gunshots and where Jones was, and Jodan said, "Wulf was right about him not being trusted. He tried killing me, but I got him first," He lied.
"And how can we trust you? How do we not it was you who tried to kill him and succeeded?"
"It's your choice whether to believe me or not. We can stay out here; arguing and wait to die, or we can mush on. Isn't that far to the ship as long's we keep moving and not rest."
The others take the lead while Jodan stood there waitng for Wulf to pass. As he passes close by, Jodan whispers, "He died fast, and if I have my way again, that's how you'll go out. For now, let's put our differences behind and get off this rock before we're both dead."
Another hour of wandering through the burning forest, the flames began dying down; making it darker and forcing them to pull out their flashlights and signal flares.
Only eleven of them left: Jira, Wulf, Jodan, the wise Native American man and his three sons, Reaper, Ninja guardian, Angelpetal, and the Russian Art dealer, Yevkovich.
With the limestone tigers all around them like hungry lions looking a pile of raw meat sitting in the middle of their den, while the others are grouped together in a circling as they keep a lookout from all sides as they move forward.
The clouds above in the pitch-dark sky began moving in the wind in the direction they all came from.
They arrive at a canyon, which dry like the Mohave desert. "It's our only other choice. The path we came from will be filled with those things. Jira, you know this," Wulf explained.
"I'll carry the cells, You Protect them. I'll take the lead."
"Fine then, Jodan. Give'em the cells," Wulf demanded from Yev and the others, who then took the straps from around their shoulders and presented them to Jodan with the fuel cells attached.
Jodan throw the straps over his neck and rests them on his shoulder. "Now move," he whispered.
"Sure you wanna do this," Reaper asked.
"Just MOVE!" he exclaimed at the top of his lungs as he pushed off on his left foot, then his right and kept going like a sled dog down the canyon while the others kept up. All around them, the limestone tigers started fighting with each other as they ran on by. After running a few yards, one of them fell off the canyon wall above them, landing in front of Jodan; lying their dead and lifeless as he stepped over him.
"What the ********?" Ninja guardian asked.
"Why the hell they killing themselves?"
"Like lions in the zoo, killing each other over food," the Native American man explained.
"C'mon, don't slow down, we gotta keep moving!" Jira shouted.
They ran and ran as the tigers killed each other out of greed and hunger when two fighting tigers fell over the cliff, taking the huge skeletal remains of their previous meal over with them and landed on top of reaper, who screamed out loud as it rapidly descended on her and pinned her down and separated the others from Jodan, who kept moving down the path.
"Jodan, wait!" Wulf exclaimed while Jira was fighting the tigers off to protect Reaper. As this happened, Jodan didn't stop, he kept moving.
Wulf jumped in one of the two beasts Leapt at Jira. He decked it in the jaw, it just turned it head; reacting to the blow and struck back with one swipe from its mighty paw, which Wulf blocked.
The tiger leapt at Wulf, who bent backwards; falling on his hand with his feet in the air and flips the oversized cat over his head.
Three more tigers intervened; surrounding Wulf like a tribe of Indians cornering a cowboy in the desert.
Meanwhile, Jodan only got a couple yards before he decided to turn back.
As Jira, Ninja, and Yevkovich attempted lifting the skeleton off of Reaper, Jodan leaps over them towards Wulf, who was still surrounded by the tigers as he looked around him. Jodan jumps inside the circle with him and they stood back-to-back like the dynamic duo, Batman and Robin.
"Glad to see you still care."
"Hey. I don't. I just want the privilege of killing you to be mine alone."
"What'd you do with the cells?"
"They're safe."
Two tigers leapt at both Jodan and Wulf, who stick their hands out and caught their paws and slammed them into each other and threw them aside as three more jumped in. Wulf and Jodan unsheathe their swords and duck under them, rise up again and cut into their ribcages. A sixth one rushed towards Wulf as he leaps over him; landing on his back where he places his blade under his neck and slides across, slitting its throat; jumps off and into the air where he points his blade downward as he lands on top of another tiger and stabs him in the back of the head.
Another one runs up to Jodan, who spins around; kicking it in the side of the face, quickly spins around in mid-air and drops his other foot on top of its head like a sledgehammer, causing all four of its legs to collapse from under it.
"And that's a wrap," Wulf chuckled.
"Damn right," responded Jodan as he extends his hand.
"We do make a good team, don't we?" Wulf asked as he extends his hand celebrating with Jodan through a handshake.
"Just don't think this changes things, we're still enemies."
They let go of each other's hand, "Now if you'll excuse me, I've got cells to carry." As he walks off, a loud roaring could be heard in the night sky, followed by a light shower, which increased into a light storm, which began dousing the flames that were still burning in the forest around them along with any bit of light that could help light their path.
"Little rain never hurt anyone. Help her up and let's move."
After 10 to 20 minutes, Jodan stops when reaching a small cave at the end of the canyon.
"Jodan what is it?" Jira asked.
He didn't answer.
"Jodan!" she called out.
"We're close, we just need to go through this cave and we're home-free."
Jodan goes through first followed by Wulf, then Jira, Angel petal Reaper, Ninja guardian, the wise Indian, his sons, and Yev in that exact order.
The sounds of the rain falling onto the stony canyon floor and walls began to deafen as they went further inside the narrow tunnel.
"Was places like this that gave me the creeps when I was little," Jira whispered out to Wulf.
"I wouldn't know," Wulf replied. "I wasn't around when you were a child. Not sure I was around to even have a childhood. From what I believe, I was created in the G-corp lab before the explosion in '04."
"Really? Wasn't aware of that."
As they moved through the cave into a huge cave den of some sort, Jodan trips and the force of his fall caused a cave-in, which blocked the entrance; crushing the the wise man's sons, and Stranded Yev.
Jodan jumps to his feet acting like nothing happened and kept going as everyone else tried to pull the rocks off of the three.
"Jodan…" Wulf mumbled to himself as he took off after him.
"Wulf, where you going?" Angel asked.
He didn't answer, and she followed after him. Through the rain and thunder, the three traversed as their scenery transitioned from a grassy wood to wet, sandy desert. Angel arrived just after Jodan loads the cells into the ship's engine.
"Are you that heartless that you'll leave them all here to die?"
"Every man for himself. A basic survival trait of all the human species. It's either eat… or be eaten. Kill… or be killed."
"I know the world is cold and selfish, Jodan. But that doesn't mean you need to be."
"Don't dare to lecture me," he said as he pulled out .44 magnum revolver and aimed it at Wulf's forehead. "Either come with me or stay here and die. But if you utter one more sentence or try anything stupid, I'll kill you right here. You can take your girlfriend with you if you please, now just get the ******** in here."
Wulf didn't make a response; he stood there thinking to himself. Then he blurts out, "So you're gonna walk away? Why not just kill me now? Cuz I'm not getting on the ship… at least not without the others."
Jodan stares into Wulf's eyes with anger, Wulf stares back even harder. Inside their eyes, a intense flame burned. "Fine…" sighed Jodan with a frown on his face. "It'll be a cold, wet death for you, Wulf." He moves in closer; gun still aimed at Wulf's forehead as he marched up. At 2 feet away, he spins the gun until he is holding it by the barrel, then at 3 inches away, he slaps it across Wulf's cheek, tosses it aside and delivers a blow at to his cheek again, but this time, Wulf grabs him by the wrist. He twists it around behind his back and puts him in a headlock and slams his head into the sand, pulls it out, turns him around and strikes with a punch to the forehead.
Jodan steps back a few feet like a drunk person losing his balance as Wulf delivers a kick to his ribs, and a kick to the side of the face so fast that he didn't see it coming. He lands another kick to the face, which Jodan ducks under by falling onto his side as broke his fall with his right arm, and pivots clockwise; kicking Wulf in the back of the knee, making him kneel down, and finishes with a kick to the chin. "over that quick?" he asked as he sticks the magnum revolver in Wulf's face yet again.
"Got one more trick," he answers as he rapidly plants his arms above his head in the sand, and kicks his feet into the air, knocking the gun out of Jodan's hand as he sprung to his feet and pivots around clockwise; hitting with a devastating spinning kick to the stomach, runs up and throws a jab towards Jodan's Adam's Apple, Jodan latches his hand onto Wulf's wrist, Wulf unclenches his fist and pokes his nails into the Adam's Apple, making him gag for a short moment and loosen his grip on his wrist and reaches around with a sucker punch to his jaw, knocking him onto his back. "All things must come to an end, Jodan."
"You'd honestly die for them, Wulf? Even for your girlfriend?"
"I would fight for them."
"That's not answering my question, Wulf ninja!" he said as he coughed.
"If you're looking for a straightforward answer, Jodan. Then yes. I would die for them."
"Very interesting. But I won't let you just yet."
An hour later, Jira and the other were still removing the rocks when they heard a noise coming from the other way and turned in the direction to see Wulf, Jodan, and Angel walking down the tunnel towards them.
"Just had to make some last minute system checks. We're all good to go," Explained Jodan.
"Anyone ready for this?"
"What about my sons?"
"If you haven't heard their voices by now, then they're long gone."
"The more e stay here, the more we're susceptible to the limestone tigers coming back for us," Wulf replied.
Ten minutes later, they emerge from the cave; rain still fell down with no sign of it ending any time soon. They traverse through the wet grass, and half burnt trees in the soaking rain towards the emergency ship with the limestone tigers hot on their trail. After another ten minutes, they arrived at the ship. The doors opened upon approaching the rear of the craft to let them in.
They all climb aboard and shut the door.
"Sure this'll work? Jira questioned.
"100% positive."
"Sooner the better right, Jodan?" Reaper asked.
He flips the switches, activating the thrusters, kick-starting the engine, and turning on the lights. Then shuts them all off again as the limestone tigers piled on the top of the hull.
"What the hell are you doing?" Ninja asked.
"It'd be rude for us to leave without a proper goodbye…" he said as he flips them all on again, and begins takeoff.
From yesterday by 30 seconds to mars fades in
He engages afterburners, turning the tigers behind the ship into semi-molten rock as the ships glides along the sand before lifting into the air.
They fly through the stormy weather, exiting the planet's atmosphere where the clouds began thinning out and showing the sun rising over the horizon with a sky full of stars all around them.
Like I said, not a day goes by that don't remember my adventures, including the epic survival of the harsh conditions of that strange planet.
“Lots of questions that needed to be answered if I were to run into ship owned by bounty hunters; but as I told the others, ‘Tell'em Wulf and Jodan are dead; died on the planet somewhere; A merciless slaughter of giant proportions. Only thing I'm worried about was…. Where will I go’?"
The end?
