▃ ▂ ▁ ~Moon meadows~ ▁ ▂ ▃ ¯`•.¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.•´¯
ℳoon meadows, the place where the clan cats come to speak to Starclan. As tradition the medicine cats of the clans will come here to share with Starclan every half moon, and leaders will come here to receive their nine lives. It is said that this is the closest place in the clans to Starclan. All you have to do its lay it with the flowers and its aroma will let you speak to Starclan.

>Snowfang< Wise Medicine cat of WaterfallClan I was once a warrior... I had caught the leaders eye... But then StarClan spoke... After a long journey Snowfang was the first to arrive at Moon meadows. He looked around at the sight that most cats spoke as beautiful and magical. To him it was just another thing he had to deal with as a medicine cat. His yellow gaze traveled over the meadow with a look of disgust, even as the cats of Starclan brushed up against his pelt in greeting him. He simply ignored them and looked around him for any signs of any of the other medicine cat's arrival or their apprentices. Of course they would make me wait, lazy cats. he thought with bitterness. He decided to give them a little more time and see if they'd show up. If they didn't he would enter into Starclan all by his lonesome. He walked amongst the flowers and sat in a patch of grass, lifting a paw to his mouth and rasped his sand paper tongue over his paw before rubbing it against his face. He figured since he hadn't cleaned himself before coming he might as well do it now. Referred to as the strongest in the clan! And rumors spread that I was his next choice for deputy. And I was forced to follow another path.

(ShadowPool) The Cliffclan Medicine Cat was the second cat to arrive. He dipped his head politely to the other Medicine Cat, Snowfang, but otherwise ignored him. He greeted to Starclan cats, for he was glad to see them. He hoped they could tell him what to do. He was sure he made the right choice by stopping his leader from taking the apprentice, but he caused a problem anyways. He never had these kinds of arguments with the old leader! Dawnstar didn't seem to respect him at all. He calmed himself down. He couldn't look like a rash fool of a cat in front of Starclan and another Medicine Cat. The Starclan cats seemed to feel his worry and anger, however much he tried to hide it. He wished the other cats would show up already!

>Snowfang< Wise Medicine cat of WaterfallClan I was once a warrior... I had caught the leaders eye... But then StarClan spoke... The sound of approaching paw steps caused his ears to flick toward the approaching cat, his yellow gaze following seconds later to see the approach of Cliffclan's medicine cat. He lifted his head and returned his greeting with a bow of his own head. He couldn't say he trusted cat's of Cliffclan, especially since Duskstar became leader of the clan. But Shadowpool had never been the type of cat to rub the tom's fur the wrong way. "Greetings Shadowpool, how's things going in Cliffclan?" he asked in a careful manner. Snowfang hated getting on matters that other cats didn't wish to speak of, it was a clan thing. Even he was reluctant to speak of things going on in his own clan. "Are there any new kits?" he asked with a little more confidence, knowing that topic was always safe to talk about. Referred to as the strongest in the clan! And rumors spread that I was his next choice for deputy. And I was forced to follow another path.

(Shadowpool) The Medicine Cat looked at Snowfang. He didn't want to talk about what happened earlier. He shook his head and mewed calmly, "none this moon, but one of our queens is due soon." His eyes were bright with enthusiasm. He looked for the other Medicine Cats. They should show up soon. He shifted his paws nervously as he mewed, "what about your clan. I mean do you have any new kits in your clan?" His face showed his anxiousness and worry. He wanted to speak with Starclan badly, but they needed to wait...

>Snowfang< Wise Medicine cat of WaterfallClan I was once a warrior... I had caught the leaders eye... But then StarClan spoke... He couldn't help but cringe at the mention that in a moon a queen would give birth to some kits. "That's wonderful news, I hope the birthing goes well." his voice cracked a little while he looked off to the side in a nervous manner. It was no secret to any cat that Snowfang wasn't fond of kits, even if they did mean the survival of the clan. But he could tell that Shadowpool sounded very happy about the news. He had to give credit to the tom, he had certainly been born for his role as medicine cat. If only Snowfang had been given his heart and patience. When he asked Snowfang about his own clans his ears twitched and he looked over to the tom, a hint of sadness crossing across his amber gaze. "No kits sadly." though he sounded rather happy about it. "Cloudheart has recently gone to Starclan though, poor thing, there was just nothing I could do to save her." he was indeed sad about the loss in his clan, but the sad truth was a medicine cat saw death more times in their life then any cat should. Lifting a paw to his mouth he paused just a few inches from his mouth before asking with a little chuckle "How's Duskstar doing, she settled down yet?" there was a purr of laughter coming from the old tom. He knew the answer before Shdaowpool even opened his mouth. That nasty she-cat, nothing was going to make her change her ways. It was something that worried him deeply. Referred to as the strongest in the clan! And rumors spread that I was his next choice for deputy. And I was forced to follow another path.

(Shadowpool) He nodded, and sighed, "you already know the answer. Just today she wanted to take an injured apprentice on a patrol." He shook his head in disgust. He didn't know why the old leader had chosen her as a deputy in the first place. She was too reckless, and didn't think for her clan, just of power. He could tell she was planning something. He was helpless though, and knew she would kill him if she was given the chance...

>Snowfang< Wise Medicine cat of WaterfallClan I was once a warrior... I had caught the leaders eye... But then StarClan spoke... He grew silent, looking deeply worried by that information. "Well I hope that apprentice is resting now instead injuring himself further." he looked up at the younger tom with sympathy shining in his amber gaze. "You better be careful yourself Shadowpool. Cliffclan needs their medicine cat but..." he couldn't bring himself to finish his sentence. Instead he let the words drift and linger in the air as he looked upward. It was time they couldn't wait for the other medicine cats any longer. "Let's get this thing started, i'll go see Whispfeather in the morning to make sure she's ok." the old tom was already rising to his paws and stepping into the grass filled with flowers. He could already feel his eye lids growing heavy, as if Starclan was calling him. He curled up and cast on last look toward the other tom "May your night with Starclan allow you to help your clan better." he told him as he bowed his head in a respectful nod before laying his head down and closing his eyes. Referred to as the strongest in the clan! And rumors spread that I was his next choice for deputy. And I was forced to follow another path.

(Shadowpool) He nodded and followed the Waterfallclan Medicine cat. He would do his best not to get on his leader's nerves. He didn't need anymore issues. He was glad that Snowfang would check on Whispfeather, because he would, but Duskstar might try to punish him for taking to long, and accuse him of being disloyal. He sighed at the idea. He curled up and drifted to sleep, hoping his ancestors would help him...

>Snowfang< Wise Medicine cat of WaterfallClan I was once a warrior... I had caught the leaders eye... But then StarClan spoke... Like always it felt like a blink of his eye. One moment he was back in the meadows, the next he was opening his eyes to see the beautiful land of Starclan. He could smell the scents of his ancestors all around him but only one cat approached him. It was a silver she-cat with a black crescent moon on her forehead. She had a troubled look and had the same look as Snowfang currently had. A less then pleased to see the other type of look. Snowfang made a big show of look around and meowing out "Alright nice joke guys, I want to spend my night with another cat." the silver she-cat, his former mentor, hiss her displeasure toward him and swatted for his ears like he was still an apprentice. The older tom just barely dodged the she-cat's claws. He glared at her from his crouched position "Well aren't you as pleasant as ever." he meowed, sarcasm dripping from every word. "Shut up and listen." she snapped at him. Snowfang grew silent and raised a non exsistant eyebrow. He wanted so badly to reply but bit it back and allowed her to continue. "You need to warn your leader. You need to keep an eye on Cliffclan, Duskstar is up to something that will affect all clans. I want you to restock on your herbs and all the cats of Waterfallclan to prepare for battle." Snowfang rocked on his paws, rolling his eyes. "We know this already." he sounded irritated and had to duck once again "Why didn't I throw you in the river when you were a kit. Maybe then you would listen better." With a angry snarl Snowfang sat back and waited for his former mentor to speak once more. The old she-cat huffed, eyeing him like he was lower then dirt at the moment. "It's not just her you have to worry about. There are traitors amongst in the clans that are willing to side with her. If the clans aren't careful they will be attacked from the inside as well as outside." His mentors image was beginning to fade. He guessed he should be sad to watch her leave....but the sad truth was he was more then happy to see her leave. "Good ridence you mangy fox hearted badger." he grumbled, ducking out of habit. When he opened his eyes again he was back in the meadow with Shadowpool. Referred to as the strongest in the clan! And rumors spread that I was his next choice for deputy. And I was forced to follow another path.

(Shadowpool) He had drifted to sleep.... There was a cat he had known, his mother! He ran to greet her, but realized that there was another cat with her. He instantly remembered the cat. His brother was with her. He didn't hate his brother, but he didn't overly love him either. He stopped in his tracks, and remembered why he was there, "mother, brother, what is going to happen? I know Duskstar is plotting something, is there any way I can stop her from destroying the clans?" His amber eyes grew worried and scared as his brother shook his head. His mother answered sadly, "you cannot confront her. You would only get yourself killed, and it isn't your time yet, my darling." Her eyes filled with grief. She hadn't been really been there to watch Shadowpool grow up. Goldenkit broke the silence and mewed, "warn the other clans, brother. Duskstar has sent dogs to wipe out the other clans." Then the two starry cats disappeared, as if they were never there. He was suddenly lurched back to the waking world, and sent a worry filled gaze to his friend.

As the tom looked over at Shadowpool his amber gaze held a hint of worry, but there was knowing there. If it would help his clan any Snowfang would have gladly killed Shadowpool right here and now....But killing the younger tom would help none. If anything it might just make thing's worse, for he was the only one fully standing in Duskstar's way. His ears flattened against his head as his gaze went upward "She's planning to kill us all isn't she." it sounded like he was merely speaking his thoughts aloud, but the old tom was looking to Shadowpool out of the corner of his eyes. Though he despised his old mentor he would be a fool to ignore her warning. Referred to as the strongest in the clan! And rumors spread that I was his next choice for deputy. (Shadowpool) He gulped and nodded, his heart heavy in his chest. His tail signaled that they should talk somewhere else, in case any of her spies found them at Moon Meadows. His paws were heavy and he padded with a weakened faith. 'Starclan can't help us... Why did they let her become leader?! She'll kill us all!' He silently cried out for answers. When they finally got far enough away, he mewed sadly, his voice shaking slightly, "she's sent dogs to kill your clan, as well as Lotusclan and Tinkerclan. My brother never said when they would show their mangy bloodthirsty faces." He sat straighter and mewed determinedly, "We have to stop her, and her horrible creatures. Any ideas?" His amber eyes were bright with an angry flame. He would not let another innocent cat die without at least trying.

>Snowfang< Wise Medicine cat of WaterfallClan I was once a warrior... I had caught the leaders eye... But then StarClan spoke... The old tom easily caught on to the unspoken words that were meant to warn him of possible danger. In a casual manner he let out a big yawn, his ears swevieling for sounds of an intruder. But he heard silence aside from Shadowpool's breathing. He slowly rose to his paws, wincing and staggering cause of his stiff joints. He silently cursed at the pain that he had to stretch out one paw at a time. His visits to Moon Meadow were going to be limited soon...He was getting too old for these travels. But he followed the younger tom seeming to be much less bothered by the news then he really was. On the inside he was in a great deal of panic. What could the clans do to fight back against a pack of dogs...WOuld the clans stand together or fight seperately. So many questions and he was sure he wouldn't like the answers. When the tom had finally stopped he sat back on his hunches and listened to him. His words shocked him and his eyes widen in surprise, but he kept quiet and let the tom finished. When he had finished speaking and he asked him for ideas Snowfang had a look of deep troubled concentration as he pondered the situation. "I knew she was power hungry but....I never thought in all my life I would see her resort to this." he meowed aloud. After a few moments he heaved a heavy sigh, his head drooping a little and shaking a little "We can't stop her by ourselves. Medicine cats have a say about the injuried cats in the clan but ultimatily it the leader who has a say in how the clan is runned." he looked much older then what he really was. He wished he could tell him more but as much as he hated to admit it the leader ran the clan, the medicine cats duty was only toward injuried cats and offering advice. Referred to as the strongest in the clan! And rumors spread that I was his next choice for deputy. And I was forced to follow another path.

(Shadowpool) He nodded. The fire was gone. His paws trembled oh so slightly. His muscles bunched together, as if he was about to spring away. There was no hope, they could try and convince the clans, but their rivalry was far to strong. It would be a waste of breath. He sighed and closed his eyes, "Snowfang, if I never see you again after today, just know that I have always respected you as a Medicine Cat, you followed your path, even if you didn't want to. If you can go from a normal warrior and be forced to be a Medicine Cat, because that was what was needed from you. Then I can become a warrior as well as a Medicine Cat," his claws slid out "I will get myself trained as a warrior, and learn their fighting moves. I don't want to be helpless, in case anything happens. I know you understand what I'm talking about." He gave the Waterfallclan Medicine Cat a friendly head-butt on the shoulder. "Good bye, my friend." His eyes grew sad, and were now full of tears. Everything he had known was disappearing. All he would have left, soon, was himself and his memories. He might even lose Starclan. He got up from his spot. He was dejected looking. His paws carried him swiftly, even if he never wanted to go back; back to his clan that his father abandoned, his mother was murdered, and back to her. He felt himself change. What once was a mild-tempered kindhearted Medicine Cat, had turned into an angry, hateful monster. He would be ready for the end of the clans as he knew it.
