You've prolly seen it but I finally got a chance to sit down and watch the BBC Sherlock. I saw only one ep so far but it looks like it'll be pretty good.
If you have Netflix, Meeting Evil and Puncture are some low-key movies that are decent (I say low-key because I never saw any advertising for them), as for a show Once Upon a Time is decent, a little RAH RAH GIRL POWER focused but decent overall.

A few months ago I watched Freaks and Geeks, and have recently gotten into Supernatural, and Game of Thrones.
As for movies I saw The Princess Bride for the first time a while ago. And last week I watched Wristcutters: A Love Story again. Love that movie.

Gotten into Game of Thrones heavily. I prefer the books because the detail is much richer. Still a good show though compared to most of the s**t on television.

idk Jacob's Ladder is pretty edgy, right?
you might like the Holy Mountain but i've only seen the first ten minutes and i immediately realized you needed to be stoned out of your mind to get the full effect. basically it was a movie produced by the Beatles and it's psychedelic and freaky
Funny Games is a good one i saw recently that really pushes the limits with Naomi Watts in it, really ******** up movie, in a beautiful kind of way
uhhh, if you like anime Neon Genesis Evangelion is always a good ride, it's probably my fav animu and the english dub is p great
