From what I understand, it's mostly people posting and re-posting images and sometimes writings that other people have already posted. I don't think I get the point of it all.

well, my personal blog is made up of things i like, clothes i wear, stuff i do. basically you post and reblog stuff that you want, like, need... idk. i get lots of laughs from the blogs i follow c:

My general problem is that nothing I create is visual; it's all written. So how much usefulness would I even get out of it?

I use mine for posting my art... even though I haven't been really doing that much lately.
And I'm also following some people from Youtube that post some hilarious stuff.
It's just another form of entertainment for me if I have nothing else to do.
