A little bit of irony here... I hate the heat, but fire types are my favorite xD
Charizard, Houndoom, Ninetails, Blaziken, Infernape (I didn't like it at first but it grew on me)
Grovyle (although sceptile is cool too), Lucario, Rampardos, Aggron, Flygon, Pidgeot, Swellow, Mightyena, Wailord, Staraptor, Alteria, Hydregion, Haxorous, and I like the final evolved form of that sand alligator... the name escapes me xD
And uh... this'll sound weird... but I'd love to have a Magikarp just to snuggle with... heart I think they are cute xD
