Theater || Damian was initially introduced to theater through his closest friend, Alistair - and while he was initially skeptical, he has discovered he loves it. He slips well into villain roles, especially the manipulators. (There is no one he enjoys playing more than Shakespeare's Iago.) He gets very into characters, and onstage is the only time he truly feels confident and comfortable in his own skin.
Visual Novels || Dami loves visual novels. It's a little embarrassing and kind of girly, but he has dozens of them for more than one system. Most are on PC since it's easy to get English-language patches. He also has VN-style games, like the Phoenix Wright series and Lux-Pain.
Cooking || Dami loves cooking and eating and serving food to people. He's fairly talented at it, and he watches all kinds of cooking shows and has a rather large collection of cookbooks. As much as he does love theater, he sees his real destiny as being in the restaurant industry; preferably as an executive chef or a chef-owner of a restaurant in New York or New Orleans or even back home in London.
Virtues:
Determined || When Damian wants something, he will have it. He absolutely never gives up, and will do whatever needs to be done to get it, or to complete a necessary task or achieve a goal. He throws himself most into things for others, but when he finds time for them, his own desires get just as much attention.
Self-Sacrificing || Damian will always put the people he cares about before himself. He doesn't even give it a second thought - he is especially determined to ensure that they are happy. He will forever tell himself that what he wants doesn't matter, and that his happy as long as they are. It's even, for the most part, true.
Apparently Confident || Fake it until you make it, this is Damian's creed. While he isn't particularly self-assured, he absolutely projects that aura - no matter how much he hates himself, everyone should think exactly the opposite. He is always smiling and friendly, no matter what he's feeling under the surface.
Flaws:
Self-Sacrificing || Damian will literally set anything aside to make sure the people he cares about are happy. This often means that his own needs fall second, and for a friend, he will happily sacrifice anything at all. As much as he pretends that he is happy as long as they are, it still ends with him losing things he wants or needs.
Low Self-Esteem || Damian has a lot of trouble seeing the good in himself. He can't help but see himself as less than his friends and the people he cares for; they are wonderful and amazing and truly confident, and he is the one that does what he has to to make sure they stay happy.
Manipulative || Damian will smile and charm and convince you that what he wants is what you want - but he is still a manipulator. He uses people to bolster himself - if he cannot succeed, cannot achieve, even if it is only through manipulating, then he is absolutely nothing. It usually works, but sometimes it blows up in his face, and he's lost friends because they realized what he was doing. Even if he swears it's for their own good - and he will forever swear that it's for their own good, because he's convinced himself of that too. He just wants what's best for everyone - sometimes his needs and theirs happen to coincide, is all. This has been known to make him seem untrustworthy, and it loses him credibility with friends and acquaintances.

Family:
Nathan Howe - father, 45 years old. Old British money; in line to become an Earl. Himself works as a literature scholar and professor at Destiny City University.
Alicia Howe, nee Campbell - mother, 37 years old. Also old British money; the sister of an Earl who married within her "social station," though she does love her husband. Like her husband, a literature professor at DCU.
Both Dami's parents fluctuate between obsessive helicopter parenting and becoming absorbed in work to the point of essentially forgetting they have a son. They can't quite seem to maintain appropriate middle ground.
Background:
Damian was born in London, and grew up there for most of his life. His parents were close friends with a British family that moved to Amerca, the Holmses, and wrote and visited them regularly. One summer, when Dami was thirteen, his parents took him on an extended visit to the States and sort of...decided not to go home. They maintain a townhouse in London which they visit in the summers, but their main home is in Destiny City.
Misc. Info:
Although Dami has lived in America for four years, he still maintains a rather thick British accent. (This is at least half on purpose. Bitches love accents.)

Hey Song!
This profile looks really good! I couldn't find anything that stuck out as being bad for his powered side, and his hobbies look good! I had one question about his manipulative trait, but that's it! In his self-sacrificing virtue it says he will put people he cares about before himself and says he'll be happy if they are, but in manipulative it says that he will trick people into doing what he wants? From the self-sacrificing traits it sounds like he really wants to help them but in manipulative it says the opposite. Does he manipulate everyone and has just manipulated himself into thinking he wants to help them? (I think that might be kind of cool! XD)
But I just want to make sure that these don't contradict! If you can just quote me with a little clarification, that would be awesome!

Added some to Manipulative -- Dami genuinely believes that he's manipulating people for their benefit (and his own, but clearly mostly theirs.) Hope that's clearer now!
