Was Anyone Disappointed/Upset upon finding out that DRUDDIGON couldn't Fly?

User Image

I was disappointed because those Giant Jagged things on his Back resembled Wings

But then, After reading his Description, I find out those are Solar Panels meant for taking in Heat. emotion_0A0

Sorry, I'm not a Pokemon Hater. I just get Disappointed when a new Pokemon that's Created looks like it can learn a Certain Move,
But then you find out it can't.

Does that sound stupid at all? sweatdrop

No, it's not stupid to be disappointed in somethings that Pokemon has put out. For instance I was disappointed in how the original Black and white versions of the games turned out.

Druddigon wouldn't have been able to fly even with those wings because of how the wings are shaped. Those wings are used to create wind-storms and to blow dust around. They are not meant for flight.

Ya could have fooled me on that one. razz

Oh! I know this was a LONG time ago, But the first time I saw Gyarados, I thought he would have been a Water/Dragon Type instead of a Water/Flying Type. Since he sort of resembles a Chinese Dragon, if you think about it.

A lot of people still make that mistake and try to defeat it with ice moves, which aren't very effective. Gyrados are easy lightning rods though. Thunderbolt them out.

1. Trip somewhat resembles Paul and have a similar personality. When I first saw him, I was like "What the heck?! Is that Paul?!".

2. They brought back "Who's that Pokemon?". Maybe my volume wasn't up high enough but I'm pretty sure they didn't mention the name of the little pigeon looking Pokemon, Pidove, in the first episode. When they did the "Who's that Pokemon?!" thing, I said the little pigeon looking Pokemon that makes me think about that one pigeon from that one episode of Penguins of Madagascar who sounds like Bull from Fanboy & ChumChum.

3. Pikachu got owned by a low leveled Pokemon!! A starter Pokemon, nonetheless! I know Pikachu was in a "weakened" condition but to be Poke man-handled like that....Come on! Pikachu should have shrugged that attack off!!

4. They're using the glare... *Whispers: That's the glare...!*

5. Ash made the same mistake he made when he first started his journey. Instead of a Spearow, it was a Pidove. Really, Ash...?! You should known better than that. You've been through your own region- Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh. And you made the same rookie mistake you made journeys ago. I wonder what Brock would have said if he saw that. In fact, what would Paul say? Even better...Gary!! Well, maybe not Gary. Gary is nothing more than a mere shadow of himself.

6. This kind of relates to the previous since Kanto is repeating itself. Delia is babying him again. Just like she did when he started his journey through. She asked about clean tightie-whities, brand-aids, etc, etc.

7. Delia can't wait to see how much Ash will grow after his journey. *Raises eyebrow* ....Mrs. Ketchum...Are you aware that your son doesn't grow...?? He's still a kid...He was a kid when he first left on his journey in Kanto and is still a kid now...Nothing has really changed about him....Except the clothes you give him...

8. What's with Ash ALWAYS seeing legendary Pokemon?!? Out of everyone in the Pokemon universe...Why him?? ...And he tends to be the only person who sees them! Everyone else thinks they're folklore or something. Why can't there be more people saying "Big deal. I've seen that legendary Pokemon too!" And not "OMG!!! Have you really seen that legendary Pokemon?!? I never met or know anyone that has seen that Pokemon before!"

9. They changed the animations for the moves. Thunderbolt looks like it's straight from a Pokemon game. Iron Tail is actually metallic. They used 3D animation for it. And it looks pretty cool.

10. Team Rocket is wearing their official Rocketeer outfits. They're also being more villainish this time around. Instead of being blasted off, they vanish in a smoke screen. It's really about time their role as villains is being taken a bit more seriously than just comical relief.

11. Pokemon are still following Ash around....How is Ash going to become a Pokemon master if all of his Pokemon come him?! Just because the Pokemon shows a bit of dignity and respect for itself and chooses to battle before being captured doesn't change the fact that they all come to him.

12. How did a Oshawatt leave Juniper's lab undetected?? ...I'm pretty sure Oshawatt isn't a Water/Ninja Pokemon and knows how to use Shadow Clone Techniques. I'm also pretty sure someone would have noticed it gone. What if there was a new trainer that shows up and wanted an Oshawatt?!

I think I covered everything I noticed. And some of these things might change as the series goes on. Like Team Rocket being used as comical relief. And someone at the lab will notice Oshawatt missing.

One disappointment was when black and white came out and they changed the pal park idea.

I'm still hoping for a game where we can travel to every region(even the ones in the Pokemon Colosseum games). Then again I'm weird..,.;

You know, Yuki, my wife Dee has been wanting that very thing for a game. Every region, every possible Pokemon, but the challenge would be...you start from Kanto and you must travel through every region that has badges first.

Say you passed Kanto's Pokemon league and beat Gary as Gary. Professor Oak will say congratulations and put your name into the Kanto Hall of Fame, but wait, you're adventure isn't over yet. He says to you that he's gotten a letter from Professor Birch and that he wants you to head over to Johto right away.

A prompt for you to save game comes up, and the theme for season 1's opening plays. (Gotta Catch em all) Credits finish, then the system will prompt for you to continue or quit here and turn off system. Naturally, this would be for the 3ds.

When you continue, your mother kisses you good-bye as Professor Oak is ready to escort you to Johto where you get the cutscene of travelling with Oak. (It will be cool, I swear) Oak blabs to you about his radio show and such on the way and that during the journey in Johto that you must stop by and see him for at that time, he will have a special gift for you. (A master ball and a ticket to the region where you will have your future career.)

So, you get to the radio station eventually (halfway through the Johto badges), and Oak tells you that its perfect timing (as always). He then asks you if you had thought up of a career to choose from once the journey is over. (This means all regional hall of fames entered) A screen comes up with the career options and the regions they are in. There's also an undecided option where if you select it, Oak will encourage you to return to the radio station once you've made a decision.

Once you pass Johto, its on to Hoenn. Johto's professor hears from Hoenn's professor, then its basically collect the badges and fill that region's national Pokedex where all Pokemon for the Hoenn region and all regions previous will be available to you to catch. Master balls will become a sale item too, but you have to have already used each type of ball once before they do.

These Master balls will be on for 10,000 pokedollars a ball though. And you cannot get them at all until you've reached Hoenn. In Hoenn, this is where Mew and Mewtwo have fled to and will act just like the secret Pokemon of the three lakes. (Uxie, Mespirit, and Azelf) It will be a game of tag for Mew and Mewtwo and you must catch them with the master balls. There won't be any other way.

In fact, all legendaries on this new game can only be caught with Master Balls. Common Pokemon cannot be caught with Master Balls, as a trade off.

By legendaries, I am talking about Mew, Mew two, Shaymin...

Oh, and here is a secret...you don't catch Ho-oh or Lugia at all unless you've chosen the Snag em and bag em career.

Obviously, you will eventually go through all the careers, but you've gotta choose the one to start and then complete it.

The game's name? Pokemon Ultimate Master Quest.
