For future reference, your characters can be any species right (except for gods of course), like vampires, werewolves, tanuki, kitsune, human, etc?

Does that include Deadmen (like from Deadman Wonderland)?

Sure, your characters can be of any species. The only real limitations are with the powers your character has, as in each character can only have up to 3 powers.
