Just getting this little bit out of my hair because it irritates the s**t out of me. Now I work for a company called Vacation Tour and Travel. That's right, I'm the annoying people that call asking you to take a trip and go see a timeshare.
Now honestly it really is a good package if you have the will power to ignore the timeshare sales people. But that's beside the point.
The one thing that pisses me off to no end are the people I have to talk to. I understand that many people have probably received a call from me before, but for the love of god at least let me say my beginning bit and at least let me ask how your day is going. I can guarantee without a doubt I am the nicest person on the phone you'll ever speak to. Others maybe not so much, but if people would calmly, after telling me that they're having a nice day just to put your number on the Do Not Call list, then by law I have to do so politely without a fuss. And I do. I always say 'Yes Sir/Ma'am I'll do so immediately and have a great day!' But all I hear is people threatening me and swearing. And honestly it's stupid.
I also want to point out that setting up a lawsuit against ANY company that calls from receiving numbers that are given to them as a requirement of a contest, is pointless. Whether your number is listed on the national Do Not Call list or not, by putting your number and information on the form, you are legally signing permission that the company can call you in the event that your number is pulled, whether it is for the actual prize you signed for, or a solicitation of wares.
I know this won't change any of the retarded people talking smack, but I had to say something because I'll blow my top otherwise. I know there's a million and one more things I could complain about idiots on the phone, I'll probably post them on my quest thread some other time.
