―The Riddler ¿What's In A Riddle? A riddle, sometimes called a "brain teaser," is usually a question that requires clever or unexpected thinking for its answer. In general conversation, someone typically presents a question to another person who accepts the challenge of guessing the correct response. The guesser may get one or multiple guesses and sometimes the ask-er gives clues, but this is not required. Riddles usually have only one correct answer, and it is commonly provided in the end, even if the guesser does not think of it.
I am a huge fan of the Riddler and have decided we need a riddle contest in dedication to him. Riddles are amazing things and today they play a major part in our society. Riddles can be a question with a quick witty answer. They can be just a sentence that makes you have a sudden realization. Whatever your definition, one thing is clear: riddles will riddle us for years to come.
¿How to play? This is a never ending contest where you solve riddles in order to gain prizes such as items, gold or even art! The more riddles you solve the more prizes you get--The riddles listed below are worth a collective amount of points. Once you have so many of the said points you may exchange them for prizes! But there is a catch of course--you may only try to solve the same riddle three times before you must move on to the next one. You are in charge of keeping track of your own points and proving that you earned them when you go and redeem them. The Riddle of the week is worth over 1000 points! You may only take ONE guess at the answer so think carefully!
Riddle of the week
Lisa walked out the back door of the farmhouse on a Thursday afternoon and found a man's pipe, a scarf and three lumps of coal lying on the wet grass. They weren't there on Tuesday and no one had been near the house for weeks.

¿Rules?  ? Do NOT use the internet to try and find out the answer to these riddles. A lot of them come from our own minds so it would be pointless to try and cheat.¿ You can only guess on the same riddle three times. Normally the Riddler would only give you one chance to solve the puzzle but I'm more forgiving in the field of stupidity then he is. Why do you think Jack Frost is still alive??For the riddle of the week you may only guess once per week ¿Follow the guild guidelines and the Gaia TOS. ? If you have a riddle that you would like posted up send me a PM. Also If you would like to post your own riddles remember that you must also have prizes for people who might win rather it be art, gold or an item. ¿When solving your riddle, please either copy the full riddle into your post when guessing, or at least put the point value and the number of the riddle under that value. Otherwise it will be ignored since we don't know which riddle you're solving.

It needs oxygen, and water will put it out.
