The past 3 days have been beautiful but today... rain! Seriously why rain?! It's so miserable and depressing and ugh! I hate rain, granted I know it's really good for mother earth and what not but still it sucks and always seems to happen on the days I need to be out... go figure.

I've lived in western Washington almost my whole life so I'm use to the rain and enjoy it. But currently I'm in California, so I'm enjoying the blue skies and sun right now. 3nodding

I'm on the east coast. It was sunny, humid, and hot for two weeks, but a hot rain broke it today. When it did stop I went out to take my dog for a walk, mid walk it started to pour. At least it wasn't a cold rain.
Went to the beach yesterday, after leaving I felt okay, no sign of sunburn. 2 hours later it set in. I got sun poisoning. Been lathering myself in lotion, so I'm fine now.

It's an April torrential downpour and I live right on top of Hines Drive (Michigan). It's a flood plane and my Pembroke Welsh Corgi loves to run in the soggy park grounds chasing sticks and squirrels. Needless to say I have to clean her up about every walk.
I'm use to the rainy crap and sometimes it makes the nightly headphone walks kinda magical. Dark Rainy nights have a unique energy and a certain forest scent. It makes the mind wander and begins so many journeys into the 5 and 6 AM hours. yum_tea

I love rainy days, impossibly much. We rarely get rain here. It's either sunshine and wind, or wind and snow. Those few days with that gentle, beautiful rain, making all of the ground plants uniquely vibrant, and the pine tree smell cascade crisply through the air...making the air more clear by washing the pollen away, so despite a torrent of water, you see farther, in more definition...The sound of rain is enchanting, as is the temperature, tempo, taste...I soak it up through every sense I have, happily.
