Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. Welcome to the Livingwaters Guild. In this guild, we'll share stories about witnessing experience, inspire others to go out and preach the Gospel, teaching Christians on how to share your faith with ease, and to fellowship with one another.
Before you post, please fill this form out by copying and pasting it in a reply and fill it out. I believe that we all should get close as a family. After all, that is what the Church of God is all about, oneness in the fellowship of God.

For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Welcome to the guild! It's okay if you do not want to us to know your age. I think I am going to put (If you want to) beside it. Anyways, welcome and if you want to, feel free to tell others about it. I am planning to do a lot of work, this week and next week. So Lord Willingly, in about 2 or more weeks, it will be nearly completed of all I have planned for it. ^^

Name: I prefer to be called Monikka. Username: KatMonikka Age: 22 Gender: Female **Favorite Bible Verse: N/A **Favorite Book of the Bible: N/A **: Just a minor explaination on why I couldn't fill those two parts out. I'm not well educated will verses or stories from the Bible. I haven't attended church in what feels like years. I've always wanted to go myself but hated to be alone. It's a foolish worry. I do believe in God and should take more of an incentive to learn more about what it takes to truly believe. (I hope that makes sense...)

Reformed_Into_His_Image Hello there. Welcome to the Guild! ^^ Thank-you kindly. Allen was it? I found you in the friends chat forum and decided to investigate. I'm sorry if that sounds odd. It's always been hard to discuss religion to people since most don't share the same believe or hardly believe in anything at all.

And yes, that's my name. No, it doesn't sound odd at all. I used to be the same way. Hard for me to get a discussion going about religion or even starting one up is a challenge in itself. But one thing that I learned over the years is that everyone believes something. Here is a little example. Atheists believe that nothing created everything and nothing is after death. That is faith. Everyone have faith and everyone believes in a lot of things, but some are harder to express than others.

I mean why not believe in something? I hope that doesn't sound harsh, I respect anyone's beliefs religious or otherwise. Just to me, something else has to be out there even if you don't believe it's God. Is that a bad thing to say? I hope I can build up my faith and be sure of myself...

Some are against religion period. Sometimes, they are just don't understand the Bible. "The natural man will not receive anything Spiritual." But the main common denominator of why so many people are turned off by religion is because they have been hurt by a "Christian" in the past. And so a lot of times, they view Christians as hypocrites. That's why we need to be a shining light for them that have no light. "Let your light so shine that they will see your good works and will Glorify the Father in Heaven."

I don't think I can choose a favorite of either. The whole Bible is good, but some verses I do keep in mind are posted in my profile. I don't like to cite scripture out of context.
As for religion, I agree with people that it is bad. Jesus preached against religion. Anyway, thanks for the acceptance to the guild. I hope to learn and continue my walk with the Lord here. Take care and God bless.
