Terazin slowly strolled through the tall bamboo shoots that broke the earths crust. From his leisurely pace to his blank expression he let off an air of almost non-existence. Upon hearing the sounds of another in his general vicinity he paused briefly in his movement to peer through the shoots of green at the predominately blue Kitsune, his indigo eyes showing no emotion in particular. He stood there staring blankly his brown cloak blowing slightly in the cool breeze.

Terazin gave only a minute nod in acknowledgement of the blue one's greeting. He said nothing and remained in his totally at ease pose. He stared at her almost as though he was trying to peer into her soul, though his gaze was not intense nor intrusive. Though it might be creepy to some that he just stared in silence, in a completely relaxed manner.

Terazin stared at her with the same emotionless expression before slowly turning and continued his methodical movement through the dense bamboo. Some might take his silence and moving on as he had lost interest and was going back to whatever it was he had been doing. But to one that was more open, this was merely a way he was inviting her to join him in his stroll. His ear twitched slightly, causing the yellow gemstone earring to sway as he continued. Curious if this blue and black female was any different from the majority of other Kitsune.

It didn't show on his face or in any physical or notable manner, but Terazin was pleased when the female began to follow him. Most often when he turn away from another he was met with hostility or the other simply walked away. He walked in silence, calm and totally relaxed, not even appearing to notice that the other had started following him. It wasn't too long before the faint sound of running water could be heard a shortly thereafter the tall bamboo stalks opened up to reveal a tranquil waterfall scene. The three round ponds where layered like steps, each higher and slightly off center of the one above or below. The top one poured into the middle one which then flowed to the next barely disturbing the glass like surfaces of the pools of water. Not glancing back at the girl he moved to lay upon a smooth rock ledge that jutted out over the second pool of water and simple proceeded to watch the water flow.

Terazin went into a meditative state. Closing his eyes and letting the soothing sound of the running water wash away all the worries of the world. He lay upon the ledge completely still and silent for a long time. He was not one that bothered tracking the time that passed in peaceful silence before he came out of his trance. Slowly turning his head he looked over at his companion at this place of rest, curious about this girl. She appeared to be respectful of not only him, but this place. It was rare to find another that was not so aggressive or on edge to relax in the presence of a total stranger. His expression as blank as ever he continued watch her almost like he had been doing with the water.

At the females first jolt of action Terazin only continued to stare at her his expression as blank as it had been since the moment they had met. Thinking he must have scared her with his staring, after all she suddenly jolted the moment she stirred from her peaceful slumber. However, her bow and rapid apologetic words changed his mind so quickly that he couldn't completely bury his response. The corners of his mouth turned up ever so slightly in amusement and a brief sparkle twinkled though his eyes, laughing for him as he made no sound. It was so adorable that she was fervently apologizing for sleeping here at the calming falls. The exterior show of emotion was swift to fade back into his normal blank expression, but the emotion still lingered under the surface. Though he said nothing he seemed to give off an air telling her that there was nothing to feel sorry for.

In the moments of silence where Shima remained in her bow, Terazin sat up and turned himself to face her. He watched her, mind thinking things he would likely never voice as the blue tessen straighten up and asked his name, while offering her own. He was silent for a long moment. First he rolled the name Shima around in his head, it was a lovely name. Then he pondered various things before he opened his mouth to speak. It was rare for Terazin to say anything and just as rare for him to feel that another deserved a response. "Terazin." He replied, his voice soft, yet clearly masculine. He dipped his head in a bow of sorts, his yellow cube earring swaying with the motion.
