Katherine greeted Nightlight with a warm smile and waved back. She ran over to the tree he rested on and called out to him "Nightlight! It's been so long! How are you?"
NIghtlight had been one of her close friends. And she missed him for some time.

☽ Nightlight, brightlight, Sweet dreams I bestow. . . ☾ The Guardian smiled and hopped out of the tree, giving his friend a hug before shrugging as if to say nothing much as happening for him.
((Nightlight, in canon form rarely talks, he only said like one tiny sentance over the course of 3 books, and more or less plays charades with everything much like Sandy. Don't worry though, I'm good at making sure everyone knows what's going on.)) ☽ Sleep tight, all night, Forever I will glow~ ☾

Katherine gave her friend a hug. "Nothing much, huh?" she chuckled and nodded. She is able to understand her friend without the need of words. "Kailash
has been temperamental, she keeps flapping her wings as if she's scared of her shadow." Her expression gave a slight concerned look but still looked friendly. "Do you think you could calm her down?"
[[Ah understood! Sounds like fun ^^ Also I think I misspelled her goose name but for some reason the netbook is unable to allow me to spell it correctly due to auto-correct]]

☽ Nightlight, brightlight, Sweet dreams I bestow. . . ☾ The Guardian shrugged and began to head over to the giant goose. It wouldn't hurt to try and calm it down. Even is a spooked snow goose was a vicious thing to mess with. He was very careful to approach it slowly and try not to freak the beast out more. He was rather good with animals and after a little bit he was able to get the beast to calm down. The boy only smiled at his long time friend in triumph. ☽ Sleep tight, all night, Forever I will glow~ ☾

Katherine gave a sigh of relief. She walked over by her pet and began to stoke its feathers. "I'm glad she recognized you. I think it's because she never encountered fearlings before and it spooked her."

He hadn't seen dear Katherine in forever, so it was natural to be curious as to what the girl had been up to. ☽ Sleep tight, all night, Forever I will glow~ ☾

Katerine expression changed into a somber one. "Well to be honest, I feel conflicted about fighting Pitch. North says I am a valued member but...I'm kinda scared. What if...What if I let everyone down? " She looked to her old friend holding back her fears.

☽ Nightlight, brightlight, Sweet dreams I bestow. . . ☾ The Guardian smiled still and hugged his dear friend tightly. He knew what it was like to face fear itself. He had himself locked up alone with the man for thousands of years before he had met Katherine. It took a lot of courage to do something like that, it was how he got his title.
After a moment, he drew with light a tall frowning stick figure, clearly Pitch, and next to is some small sad faced figures, children. He then drew a large goose landing on Pitch and then the frowns of the children turned into smiles. It was obvious that it was the Guardians like themselves that made children happy, and it's what their purpose here was. ☽ Sleep tight, all night, Forever I will glow~ ☾

Katherine felt her kind friend's gentle embrace. She wrapped her arms around Nightlight.
She watched the various light figures that Nightlight displayed for her. The message was clear. "You're right," She said, "We are Guardians. We're supposed to make make kids happy." She gave a small chuckle, "I guess I need to be reminded of that...Thanks"

He made sure that he always had courage to spare. Nightlight patted the goose's head as well and he drew a little cloud in the sky, wondering if he could have a ride like old times. ☽ Sleep tight, all night, Forever I will glow~ ☾

A goose honked and lowed it's head allowing Nightlight to ride on. "Come on Nightlight! Let's fly!"
She jumped on her pet's back and held out her head towards Nightlight. _________________________________________________________________
