I picked Velvet Noir because it sounds like "Cellar Door", which if you've ever seen Donnie Darko is supposed to be the sexiest sound in the English language. Velvet Noir evokes that without making me sound like a serial killer. You know as well as anyone that my tastes can run a little darker, but I don't want my partners to worry they've been engaged in a snuff film.
The people I choose to send poetry to is based on where they are or what they're wearing. Anything that indicates they'd be open to receiving some kink in their inbox. Depending on how they react, I'll either send more or back off. I can't enjoy what I do if they don't enjoy what I do. (Consent is sexy)
My avi is spot on. It took a few hours in tektek but I managed to match the original character sketch.
I'm not much of a "chuckler", but anytime I can get an "asldjfask" or an "oh my~" in response to something I sent tends to leave a grin on my face.
So far I've managed to keep a low profile so I've only gotten a few anons. Charming sends some wonderfully goofy stuff and I got a joint poem from the Rose Prince and Temptress last Christmas which had me at full fanboy since Temptress was my inspiration.

I just laughed really, really hard, oh gosh. I had a response and more questions, but I literally cannot even right now. (So glad I logged on despite the stress.)

If I can't make you scream, I'll settle for making you laugh.
I actually do enjoy tea, loose leaf Lapsang is my favorite. Preferably served with tomato on rye sandwiches since the smoky flavor of the tea doesn't pair well with sweets. I'm also love fresh green beans with cream cheese and a bit of garlic. Or chamomile tea with baklava.
As for the character sketch, it's in a notebook somewhere. Next time I go through my books I'll see if I can find it, although I'm not much of an artist.

I don't know about screaming, but with the right words I find I can at least elicit heavy breathing and a flushed complexion.
You already know of Charming, which is pretty much the beginning and end of my relationship with other anons right now. He's actually the one who found me in the Rejected Olympics event and eventually convinced me to get a nomme de plume and an account. We had been competing over a friend, him being his syrupy romantic G-rated self and me doing my kinky thing. Eventually it culminated in him calling me out in the forums and we've been besties since, to the point sometimes he helps me when I get stuck on a couplet. He knows a surprising number of kinky rhyming words for a prose romantic anon. I'm not fooled by his gentlemanly exterior. I know there has to be a kink underneath there somewhere. I will find it.

I love discovering things about my partners. The better I know them, the more I can pleasure them.
Yes, all the messages I send are written for that person. Usually on the spot, sometimes before hand if I know I'm going to be seeing them. Everyone is beautiful in their uniqueness and I want to reflect that in the poetry I give them.
All the time. Whenever someone tells me I made their day or is reduced to emotes and internet colloquialisms I get the warm fuzzies. My favorite is probably when they beg/demand for more, a request I always fulfill.

You could always try romancing him and see how that works...
And perhaps you like snuggling by fireplaces or watching romantic comedies when no one is around. Not that those would be surprising...But. Just something not inherently obvious at first glance.

I'd ask if that was a challenge, but I already know your feelings on the matter. Damn it though woman, you make it so tempting.
I suppose I would be fine with it, I haven't gotten much to know. 99% of my anons are prank wars with Charming. The other 1% was from Temptress and the Rose Prince which caused me to panic. At the time I thought I had made them mad, but as more information has come to light I now know that isn't so. I don't get out much.
Have you tried romancing Charming? It's like trying to frost frosting, you have no idea if you're making any progress and the only thing you're sure of is you were crazy to attempt it in the first place. That's actually probably how we ended up insulting each other. I can't compete with his ability to turn everything into a complement.
I run a small used bookstore and have a guilty pleasure for vintage Harlequin romance novels.

And, well. Prince always was rather petulant, always jealous of other male kinks (Though he's all grown up now, it seems.). Not that I blame you. Prince's brand of affection can be... difficult to decipher. I spent 3% of my time with him actually enjoying his affections and 97% of it trying to stop him from throwing a hissy fit or the appearance thereof. And Temptress is a doll, but paired with either of the guild's namesake kinks, she is a dangerous dame indeed~ Though, I certainly can vouch that your initial classification of the situation was incorrect.
What a waste of frosting, Velvet! Certainly you would prefer to.. share it?
And, I have, indeed, dealt with Charming. Somehow my inability to dance properly and awkwardness after a post-workout shower become enchanting rather than overwhelmingly awkward. Suffice to say, I understand where you are coming from. I certainly think insult-fests are the true test of friendship however... even if your audience seems to constantly face confusion at your antics.
You used to own a small bookstore? Whatever happened to it? Do you still have some stock from said bookstore?

Charming is well...charming. I don't think I've ever encountered a more aptly named anon. The infuriating thing is he seems to actually mean all the over-the-top romantic nonsense he spews. Others might not understand it, but Charming and I are quite happy with our relationship as is. The important thing about any relationship is not that it is understood, but it is enjoyed by those who are in it. We will happily hurl insults at each other until the sky falls down...or I finally get him in bed but probably after that too.
No my dear, to clarify: I own a bookstore stocked with previously owned books. An untold number of them do seem to migrate into my personal collection though.
But of course, the naughty librarian is my favorite use of a ball gag. Quiet in the library you know. Did you change your mind when I wasn't looking?
