There's a huge building that stands in the middle of the woods. This place is known to the world as a school for the highly gifted that only selects the far and few of the world to enter into the school and be given the education of a life time. To the rest of the world this place is a wonderful opportunity to those that get invited and to turn down an invitation would be like refusing millions of dollars just handed over to you. So, of course, whenever an invitation shows up it's immediately accepted and the teenager, mostly ranging from ages 13 to 18, is sent off to the building to stay until graduating. What people don't know is the fact that the 'school' is really just a home for getting new members of an exclusive cult. This cult is believed to descend from a distinct race of people dating back before the Dark Ages that were called elementals. This cult is surrounded on the idea of people using the elements and continuing the traditions of the ancient elementals. All elements are represented, but the top elements are Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind. When arriving at the 'school' the person is put in a room, of mixed genders, that houses four people, each aligned to a different element. The groups are teams that occasionally participate in challenges to incorporate cooperation within the cult. Life for the people living there is normal except the little factor of not being allowed to leave. Oh yes, that part was forgotten. If anyone in the 'school' steps out of line or tries to quiet they're never heard of or seen from again. Have fun at the Cult House.

Quote: Name: Lyth Folkvar Age: 17 Gender: Female Element: Lightning Likes: Storms, rain, cold weather, water, wind Dislikes: Silence, being under ground, arguments Goals: To find a place where just she and her friends can live safely and happily Personality: Happy, energetic, quick to react, loyal, stubborn, avoids conflict Short History: Lyth lived with her grandmother for the first 8 years of her life before her grandmother passed away and she was forced to go and live with her parents. Lyth hated living with her parents due to their constant bickering and loud fighting and the fact that if she was near them when they were angry they would turn on her and start yelling. Because of this, Lyth grew up loving storms because they would block out the noise of her parents and she would be able to go out side and let all of her worries wash away with the rain. When Lyth was 12 she ran away from home, not wanting to live there anymore. Living on the streets was better than living with her parents, but was still harsh. Somehow she still got a letter put in her stuff inviting her to the place. Thinking it couldn't be any worse than it was on the streets, Lyth went. She loved it there quite a bit until a friend she had made there made a mistake and turned up dead in a practice accident. After that Lyth promised herself that she would protect her friends and try her best to find somewhere safe to live.Quote: Name: Kero Sylph Age: 15 Gender: Female Element: Wind Likes: Tall buildings, running, falling, birds Dislikes: Staying on the ground, water, cats Goals: Being Free Personality: Kero's quiet, not shy, headstrong, quick thinker, calm, carefree Short History: Kero grew up living in a rich family where all there was was rules and regulations and things she could and could not do. Being a more easy going carefree person, she naturally hated it so she would rebel at any chance she could. Often she would run away and climb up into trees to just be around the sky. Getting an invitation to the 'school' was unexpected and she didn't really want to go expecting more rules and regulations. At the school, Kero was calmer about living there and now just goes with the flow more.

Name: Moon Age: 17 Gender: Male Element: Water, Ice Likes: Sword-fighting, books, snow, clouds, wind, water, ice, cold, rain Dislikes: Ignorance, Disrespect, Dishonor, Immaturity, Disloyalty, Goals: Following after his father and teacher, Moon wants to become a teacher at the school, and has his eyes set on Headmaster as he wishes to change the rules and advance the school for the better. He also hold curiosity to the outside world that he knows nothing about. Personality: Holds himself to four basic standards: Honor, Loyalty, Respect, and Maturity. Natural born leader. Wise, calm, collected, observant, intelligent. Short History: In a rare occurrence, Moon was born to a set of ordinary parents and his powers were discovered before he had taken lessons at the school. At the tender age of one, Moon was caught staring at a glass of water and making the water move with his thoughts alone. His parents freaked out and abandoned him, leaving Moon alone in the woods. One of the school scouts caught sight of him, and took him to the headmaster. Moon was adopted by one of the more kind deans at the school and raised as a son, named after the full moon on the night he was found. Moon was raised in the school for the whole of his life that he could remember and trained heavily in his native element, water. Moon, over time, refined his water mastery to include ice and is also attempting the element of wind, though with little progress. In his free time, Moon practices swordplay without the use of elements to help him. Over time, he has become a master at swords, defeating all fellow students who might challenge him and his dual katana fighting style.

Name: Jett Ryder Age: 16 Gender: Male Element: Fire Likes: Women, videogames, adrenaline, drugs, smoking, Fire, guns Dislikes: When people disagree with him, argue with him, or manage to beat him in a fight. Goals: Having fun, Getting a girl, and enjoying life Personality: Skirt-chaser, stubborn, adrenaline always seems to be pumping, short temper, opinionated, quick to jump to a fight Short History: Jett was raised to a middle class family that had run deep into debt and was cursed to financial problems. Jett dealt with this by escaping to videogames most of his life (older systems from before the financial issues). However, at the age of 13, Jett discovered his parent's stash of marijuana and decided to try it. Jett went further into various drugs, always looking to get his 'rush'. Additionally, Jett carried a lighter with him everywhere, and played with fire in his free time. Jett was almost 15 when he got an invitation to the school, which he promptly accepted. Upon arrival, Jett quickly took to fire, understanding it and almost mastering it. In his free time, Jett will play an older generation of videogames, or attempt to get a hold on whatever shipment of 'stuff' that most recently got smuggled into the school. He also managed to pick up enough Earth to move pebbles at the speed of bullets, though only with assistance with fire.

Lyth whistled slightly as she walked back to the dorm she and three other kids stayed in. She was insanely happy that it was the weekend which meant no classes till Monday. The only down side was the fact that her teachers had assigned homework and such which sucked, but Lyth could get all that done in a flash. Or, just not do it, but that probably wasn't a good idea and she had a feeling that one of the people on her team would get mad at her for not doing the work since it would look bad on all of them. Lyth sighed a little before opening the door to their little group of rooms. It was cool, almost like an apartment and definitely beat living out on the streets even if the teachers gave them way too much homework. Going into the door, Lyth shouted, "Hey anyone in here yet?"
Kero sat in the room she shared with Lyth, sitting on top of the book case reading a book. She heard Lyth walk in and shout, asking if anyone was in their little room/apartment thing, but decided to not respond, not wanting to shout or anything. Chances were that if none of the guys responded to Lyth she would come into their room anyway and see Kero sitting up high.

Jett peaked his head from around the corner to get a glance of Lyth before responding, "Yeah, we're all here. Sour puss kicked me out here, though. Go on in, I'll be in in about seven minutes or so..." A puff of smoke escaped his mouth as he responded, and his personality was unnaturally calm. Without much observation, it was obvious what he was doing if the smell didn't give it away. Jett then leaned up against the exterior wall of the small dorm for the team, finishing his addiction. Moon sat focused on his half of the guy's room with black water, easily identified as ink, flowing about above his desk. Occasionally, the ink would reach out and stroke the once white paper, cutting dark lines into it and creating a forest landscape. The door to the guy's room was open and Moon glanced up to identify Lyth walking in. "Greetings, Lyth. You're welcome to come in if you'd like." The layout of the dorm left three rooms, the 'male room', the 'female room' and the shared room. Both gender rooms had a private bathroom and closet attached. Additionally, there was a small walled off yard that the team could use to practice their respective elements. "Oh, and Kero could you blow away the smell left by Jett? I'm not that good at it yet." Moon said, referring to his recent wind training. "Anyway, how are you Lyth, everything going well?"

Being used to Jett's addiction by now, Lyth just chuckled a little and said, "Sour puss probably just doesn't like the smell." After walking farther in, Lyth saw Moon and waved a little bit. "Why don't you ever just say hello? It's always greetings, It's kind of funny actually," Lyth said as she took moon up on his offer and walked into his room. Casting a glance around the room before focusing on Moon a bit, Lyth said, "Whatcha working on?" Walking a little closer, Lyth fixated her eyes on the ink flowing around. She was always interested in the flow of things, particularly the flow of energy when dealing with lightning. Glancing down at the paper, Lyth saw the forest landscape before looking back at the ink and watching it. "Oh yeah I'm you know," Lyth said still focused on watching the ink. Kero closed her book after a second, opting to listen in on the conversations going on. "Sure thing Moon. If you'd like later I can help you practice so you don't have to ask me to do it," Kero said as she hopped off the bookcase. Landing easily, Kero focused for a second before blowing softly. A faint breeze came through and the smell of Jett's addiction was replaced with the smell from outside.

"Thanks, Kero, I'd like that." Moon smiled at Lyth's attention on his work and answered her question, "Stay very still, Lyth." The ink floated over to Lyth now and spiraled around her, swirling around her head. Then, like lightning, Moon made it make one quick strike on the bottom right corner of the page, his signature. The ink had made a movement similar to a cartoon lightning when it struck, Moon just trying to entertain Lyth with her by making it look like her first element. The ink then gathered itself and ended the journey in an ink jar. The finished result was a landscape of the forest surrounding the school with snow falling from the sky. "Do you like it?" Moon asked, presenting it to Lyth. A glance around the room would grant the view of several similar drawings tacked to a wall of various views of and around the school. Jett finished smoking his illegal substance and torched the remains. Then he strolled back inside and enjoyed the breeze put on by Kero. "Thanks, little sis." Jett said, using a nickname that he used for Kero who was a year younger than him. Then he walked on in to the room he shared with Moon, ignored both Moon and Lyth and turned on the small TV in the guys' room. He flipped a switch on a game system, slipped a cartridge in and called out, "Hey, Kero, how 'bout a game?" Soon, the start menu popped up and Jett waited for a moment on the screen that asks for one or two players until he got a response. As soon as the screen appeared, Jett reached his hand over and flicked on a CD player whose stereo played: "Do you have the time? To listen to......."

Standing completely still, Lyth watched the ink float around her for a moment, smiling a little bit. She always liked watching Moon mess with ink and it was even better when he'd do things like mimic her element with water. Sometimes she wished she could do things like that, but she was attempting to learn water so she could try and make storms or something. Smiling, Lyth said, "I like it a lot. But why do you only ever draw or paint the school? I know you've never really been anywhere else, but you could make up your own places. It'd be kind of cool to see what you come up with." It wasn't that Lyth didn't like Moon's current drawings, in fact, she thought they were great, it was mostly just that she wanted to see what Moon's idea of the outside world was and, somewhat more importantly, how much interest he had in going out and seeing the world. Glancing over at Jett when he started playing a CD, Lyth paused for a moment trying to identify the song before focusing back on Moon. Kero rolled her eyes at the nickname, as she always did. It wasn't that she minded the nickname because she didn't really care that much, but it was more so that she didn't really get it. She was only a year younger. Walking into the guy's room, it seemed they were having a party in there or something, Kero smirked a little and responded to Jett's question. "Only if you want to get your butt handed to you." Sitting down next to Jett, Kero grabbed the other controller and waited for Jett to start the game up.

Moon shrugged slightly and held in a sigh at the thought of outside. "I draw from observation... However, now that I've gotten better I think I shall soon start to draw from imagination. Does that make you happy, Lyth?" He smiled softly, however a quick observation would reveal his longing for a life outside of this structure, however massive it was. He was happy that he was able to entertain Lyth with his water and that he was able to spark her interest in the element some more. "Wanna go outside and practice, Lyth? I'll teach you how to make the water flow, which is something you'd need to get down before playing with the weather, as I know you want to do so much." Moon's expression was more at ease as he stood up, leaving his paper on the desk and slightly nodding his head to the beat of the song. He wondered to himself what more current music sounded like from this band and if he would ever be able to listen to it himself. Jett pushed start and up came the screen of Mario Kart, quickly randomizing the maps and selecting Luigi, Jett got ready to race. "Bring it, sis! You can't take me and my green cap of awesome!" His hands fidgeted around the controller, ready to mash down the 'A' button and twitch whichever way needed. His head very noticeable moved to the song, and his right foot tapped away. He was at the very edge of his worn out, black leather sofa that had been a bed to him on nights that he couldn't find his own bed ten feet away. He glanced up a moment to observe Moon and Lyth, but then his attention was back on Kero and the game.

Lyth could tell that Moon was, at the very least, interested in the outside life. While she knew first hand it wasn't all that great, she really didn't think this place was that great either. "Hm, it makes me happy that you're willing to try something different, but you don't have to just because I suggested it," Lyth said with a shrug. Glancing over at Jett and Kero she noticed them playing Mario Kart, one of Kero's favorites, and began to wonder if they were interested in leaving. The thought had been in the back of Kero's mind for a while and she wanted to access what the rest of the team's reactions were to the idea of leaving. It was, of course, forbidden by the school and as far as Lyth knew if you tried it you would 'disappear.' Leaving her thoughts behind, Lyth turned back to the conversation she was having with Moon and said, "Yeah! That sounds good to me. Maybe I'll be able to make a picture myself with ink soon." Lyth was only half listening to the song, having heard it a few times before. Turning around, Lyth walked out of the guy's room and outside. Kero glanced over at Jett's face before saying, "Ha, yeah right. You're all talk and no game." Turning back to the screen, Kero selected Daisy and got ready. Her thumb hovered over the 'A' button, ready to push it when the time was right and go speeding along and, hopefully, kicking Jett's butt in the game.

From the start of the game, Jett mashed the 'A' button and when the countdown wore down, his engine blew. Starting off in last place, Jett tried to keep his dignity as he scooted along in 8th place. Grabbing only green shells so far, Jett spammed the item button, creating a field of green shells in front of him. Jett ran into one of his own shells, but continued the race. A determined look was on his face, although he seemed pretty calm and relaxed. Something in Moon's head clicked and he felt as though he caught on to Lyth's goal of the last few minutes of conversing. Silently, he made a note to himself and smiled. He observed her words, her pushing him to see what he thought of places outside of the immediate area. Still, Moon was a careful person and although he suspected that, he wasn't sure. Finally, Moon followed Lyth outside into the group's private courtyard. A stone wall closed in the small grassy area that was bare except for an oak the peaked over the wall, and a small pond in one of the corners. "Yes, Lyth, a painting is something you could eventually do. Just know that those painting are more than just learning how to control water. I've been able to do that for years, the painting also require artistic abilities. Those might even be harder to develop! However, I can still help. Now, so me what you can do!" Moon got a smile on his face as he willed one third of the pond over to him and completely covered himself in the water, leaving just enough of an air pocket to not wet his person at all. Peering through the water, Moon watched on.

Kero didn't risk getting her engine blown so as soon as the countdown was done, she mashed down the 'A' button and zipped into 4th place. Sliding through an item box, Kero got a banana as she drove along. Turning a corner swiftly, Kero let the banana go, hoping that someone would run into it. Casting a glance over to Jett, Kero suppressed a frown. While she didn't really care that Jett was addicted to whatever it was, it kind of annoyed her when he was completely calm like he was. It just seemed so different to the way he normally was. Turning to face Moon after he followed her out, Lyth shrugged a bit and said, "Yeah, I don't know much about painting. I'm okay at graffiti art though which would be interesting to do with ink. Though the school would have my head if I did stuff to the walls." Nodding a bit after Moon covered himself in water, Lyth turned all focus. Calling some of the water of the pond over Lyth focused on moving it through the air and near her. It was awkward using water rather than lightning considering lightning to her was a much faster and more choppy kind of element than water. Shifting a little bit, Lyth moved the water around in the air for a moment before her concentration slipped and the water fell to the ground.

Jett continued, not noticing Kero observe him. Twice he fell off the map and was carried up to re-join the race. Onwards, he darted, through Kero's banana mines and his eyebrows seem to twitch slightly as though he was tightening them for just a moment. Jett breathed deep, exhaling once slightly louder than normal, but other than that he seemed unfazed and calm. "Well, paint can be controlled too, as it is usually water-based enough to do so." Moon responded, finishing the conversation before Lyth begun her practice. When she tried out her skills and dropped the water Moon smiled. "You've gotten better, Lyth. Pretty soon you will have it down." Moon pushed all of the water back into the pool and walked over to Lyth casually. "Let me show you." He said as he stood behind her and wrapped his arms around Lyth from behind, gently taking hold of her wrists and easing them into a flowing motion from the water to the tree. "Now, these flowing movements help you when you first begin. I want you to close your eyes and focus on flowing like water. Now, try to hover the water above the tree for ten seconds and move it safely back to the pond without the tree getting wet." Moon then let go and took a couple of steps back to observe.

Kero laughed a little and said, "Wow Jett you're worse than usual." Sliding out of the way of a green shell and into 3rd place Kero turned her focus to the game and kicking Jett's butt. Lyth gave a slight groan of frustration at the water dropping. "I may be improving, but I'm still not doing it well enough," Lyth said with a frown. It was frustrating to her, but she refused to give up. Relaxing, Lyth focused on the way Moon moved her wrists in a flowing motion. Closing her eyes, Lyth focused on the flowing movements. Calling on the water she moved it slowly towards the tree, moving the water above it and leaving it there for ten seconds. Slowly and carefully Lyth moved the water back over the pond. Happy with how successful it was, Lyth opened her eyes and grinned just before she lost her focus and the water splashed back down into the pond. "Yes! I did it, kind of." Lyth said happily.
