Plot
The plot follows a god-like being known only as "The Master" in his fight against Tanzra, also referred to as "The Evil One". According to the instruction booklet, The Master was defeated in a battle with Tanzra and his six lieutenants. The Master retreated to his sky palace to tend to his wounds and fell into a deep sleep. In the Master's absence, Tanzra divided the world into six lands, one for each of his lieutenants; they later turned the people to evil. After several hundred years, the Master awakens fully recovered to discover that he has lost his powers due to the lack of belief in him. As the game progresses the Master defeats Tanzra's lieutenants and recovers his powers by rebuilding the civilizations of his people and communicating with them through prayer. After all lieutenants have been slain, the Master commences an assault on Tanzra's stronghold Death Heim, eventually defeating him. After the defeat of Tanzra, The Master and his servant revisit the many civilizations that they had helped to build and observe the people. During their observations, they note that nobody is at the temple worshiping the Master . The servant observes that although the people once prayed to the master in times of trouble, they no longer feel a need to because they are not in danger. The Master and his servant then enter the sky palace and depart into the heavens to await a time when they may be needed.
Gameplay
The player plays as "The Master", the main protagonist of the game. Although the Master is never directly controlled, the player interacts with the world by controlling an angel and an animated statue. The player plays as an angel during the simulation sequences of the game, and as the statue during the action sequences. The overhead-view simulation mode involves protecting and guiding the Master's new civilization towards prosperity, beginning with two humans. This portion of the game requires the player to take actions that encourage the growth of the population, including road planning and using lightning, rain, sunlight, wind. and earthquakes as miracles. The Angel can interact with the monsters in the area by shooting them with arrows as well as aid the Master by indicating where to build and use miracles. One obstacle in the simulation mode is the presence of flying monsters which attempt to impede the progression of a civilization. The source of the monsters are several lairs around the region which continuously spawn the creatures as the servant kills them. As the population expands, it can seal the lairs of monsters, which prevents them from spawning, and eventually eliminate all the flying monsters in the land. Doing so increases the civilization level of the region, allowing more advanced structures to be built and increasing the potential population. Once all the lairs have been sealed the population will begin to build the most advanced homes available to the people in that region. The Master levels up by increasing the total population of the world, granting an increase in hit points and SP, used in performing miracles. Each area has two side-scrolling action sequences, one before the building simulation and near the end. In the action sequences, the player controls a human-shaped statue brought to life by the Master. The player must jump from platform to platform while defeating monsters to accrue a score. At the end of each action sequence, the player must defeat a boss. The final level is an action-sequence boss marathon, culminating in the final fight against Tanzra.
My Personal Experience
I personally love the game, love the music in it, and you get to play as an angel fighting off these demon in both Action and Creation too bad they stopped making it after second one i think it was because of you religious things that it resembles >.>''', I give it a 5/5 <3

 Gameplay
Gameplay for ActRaiser 2 consists primarily with side-scrolling platform action. The player, assuming the role of "the Master" ("God" in the Japanese version), controls a floating palace to inspect the people of the world below. After hearing their plight the Master descends to the world below to fight the monsters and rid the land of evil. Each area contains two "acts". The first act of an area consists of monsters spawned from a lesser demon named after an unfavorable condition. The second act consists of monsters spawned from the primary evil, named after one of the seven deadly sins, with heightened challenge and peril. The side-scrolling action for ActRaiser 2 is far more advanced than its predecessor. Controlling the Master, who now has a full set of functional wings, the player must navigate through dungeons and avoid certain peril by jumping, flying, falling, and floating to platforms. Armed only with a sword, and a shield which can deflect some attacks, the Master becomes heavily dependent upon magic. Magic is executed by holding down the designated button to "charge up" and is then released, consuming a magic scroll which are limited when the Master enters an area. When released, the magic may take various form depending on which position the Master is in. This is different from the first ActRaiser in which the player had to select a particular magic before descending down to the world to fight monsters and was limited to only that magic for the duration of battle. In ActRaiser 2, each magic is designed for particular situations and some magic is more powerful than others. By increasing the difficulty level at the options screen, the time it takes to "charge up" magic is increased, adding more difficulty to the game. The game's difficulty is also increased in that monsters require much more damage to be destroyed. Even on the easiest difficulty the game can prove to be quite challenging, and on the hardest difficulty it has increased replay value.
Plot
The game begins with the Master battling with Tanzra ("Satan" in the Japanese version). Tanzra, once the Master's servant, led a rebellion against him, but lost and was banished from Heaven. Ripped and torn, the slain body of Tanzra fell to the underworld. Feeding on the intense hatred each held for the Master, Tanzra's seven deadly sins and their minions combined their power to raise the spirit of their mighty leader. Tanzra, now vowing revenge for his defeat by The Master, unleashed these demons upon the world. The player in this game assumes the role of the Master, aided by his angel associates, known as Crystalis. Some of the stages in the game are meant to be ironic regarding the blighting nature of Tanzra's demons. The townsmen in the city of Leon are sent to the underground prison of Gratis (meaning free without charge, or referring to "nadie entra gratis", no one enters for free) for not paying their taxes by a newly appointed king named Kolunikus who is afflicted by Greed.
Side-scrolling stages, showing a boss battle against Greed/Doom After the player slays the first six deadly sins, the Tower of Babel (renamed "Tower of Sins" in the western versions), the final staged level of the game, appears, in which the Master fights the final sin, Pride, a mechanically engineered god. Defeating the false god, the player then descends into Death Heim/Hell, where he fights again against the seven sins, as well as Tanzra himself, a beast frozen waist-deep in a lake of ice (just as Satan was in the Inferno in The Divine Comedy). During the game's ending it is declared that "The Master will live forever", and as the credits roll an image of the statue of the Master is shown slowly eroding over time. The statue's sword and right wing fall off, suggesting the growth of civilization and the increase of mankind's self-sufficiency. This reflects the ending of the original ActRaiser, where the servant speculates that someday the world may be so independent that it will forget about the Master.
My Personal Experience
I Miss the the creation it use to have in the first Actraser but the game is pretty good aside from trying to control the new flying feature have a hard time making a perfect landing XD oh well I give this game a 4 out of 5

    Plot
Firebrand is on a quest to collect all of the elemental crests, magical stones which preside over their respective elements (Fire, Earth, Water, Air, Time and Heaven). It is said that when all crests are combined, the Crest of Infinity will appear, allowing its holder infinite power, and the ability to conquer all realms with it. During his quest, he is crippled in a battle with the Demon Dragon in his efforts to claim the Crest of Heaven, and his nemesis Phalanx uses Firebrand's moment of weakness to attack him and steal all of his crests for himself, with the exception of the Crest of Fire which was broken into pieces in the fight and Firebrand was left with only one shard. Having fallen back to earth in the coliseum where he fought the Dragon earlier, Firebrand is forced to destroy the incarnate undead dragon for good to survive, then go after Phalanx and reclaim the Crests. The game states that Phalanx stopped Firebrand from completing his conquest to rule over the Demon Realm, and Firebrand seemingly wants to reclaim the crests to continue this attempt to reach power, or just for revenge on Phalanx. However, during the True Ending, which the player attains upon defeating the "Dark Demon", it is stated that "realizing that his true power is not derived from the crests, Firebrand disposed of all the crests".
Gameplay
The player collects different 'crests' which, when equipped during the game, allow to change into different-ability Firebrands. Some of the possible powers are Earth, Wind and Water. The player also collects talismans, magic potions and other equipment during the journey. The gameplay is a mix of standard platforming, with mild RPG elements. Each level can be played multiple times, and often the player has to revisit a level with new Crests to access areas, items and bosses that could not be accessed before. My Personal Experience Love this game one of my favorite one's one the Snes,(game related to the game Gargoyle's Quest) But also one of the most difficult games to play and if u end up dying you may have to start over, and and for every crest you collect he games a new ability and more areas to unlock, I rate this 4 out of 5
