Beautiful x Mayhem You've learnt so much in 2 years! I could never do anything like that! ;O! Don't say that; of course you can! I always think such thoughts myself, but here I am presenting my progress. And besides, Art is essentially a relationship. What progresses between it and a person is always unique, personal, and it shouldn't be distressed by another's bond. Of course, much easier said than done; I wish it could be the perfect relationship, it seems like it would be wouldn't it? However, since a person can't be perfect, nor can the art which personifies us, and thus the kinks of any relationship~. There's jealousy, fights, misunderstandings, even awkward silence. And normally, when receiving a comment like this an artist would respond by saying to just keep trying; keep practicing, but sometimes it's beneficial to take a break. In the past year, I don't even think I drew 10 pictures. But, hey, art will always be waiting when you come back to it, so maybe in the end, it is a perfect relationship~? ...Forgive me, I just wrote one hell of a paper for College, and I haven't made it out of contemplation mode yet... I do realize I just blew that WAY out of proportion, but I like what I said so it stays :].

I think I'll just take a bit of a break from the type of art I usually do and try something new. When I get some inpiration or motivation to go back, I will then. ^_^

Your anatomy has definitely improved! Great WIP shot, loving the color palette so far too. Any new shots since the post date? blaugh
