- Tokai City ----------- A decent sized city lies within the Eastern Region known as Tokai City.
Rich elitist people call this place home. Few homeless people wander the streets because most would be kicked out anyway after so long as it takes lots of money to live here. This city is highly traveled by merchants who sell their goods because of the high revenues.
The city is kept clean and there is little to no crime due to the powerful guard system around the streets. ----------

 The brown haired hunter wanders the streets of the magnificent city like does every day. This was his normal routine. He had no affairs to deal with, since the city was pretty much perfection. This was the perfect time to wander the city too. The children were at school, and the only people out were the aristocrats of the city, himself included. His bow he left at home because he didn't plan on flaunting his talents. He wore a long crimson robe, with a goldenrod decal. Crimson was his favorite color. He walks over to a bride separating different districts of the city, he looks across the way to see a waterfall. He loved things like this. It was peaceful and serene. Most think that being a hunter makes you not like nature, but in all of Aelius years of hunting (which were many) he had never seen nature that he hasn't admired. He leans forward on the white marble of the bridge. His wind blowing backward because of the wind being created from the water crashing down from the waterfall.
"Magnificent."
Says an old voice from beside Aelius. The hunter slightly turns his head to see a old man, wrinkled tan skin, white hair, standing next to him. His eyes were fixated on the waterfall but he seemed to be speaking to him. Aelius says nothing to the man and looks back at the waterfall. He was never much of a people person. He was better with animals. Even though he's killed more than he's been nice to. The old man speaks again;
"It brings back memories when this city was young, the water still fell. Obviously you remember such a time hunter. "
The man speaks with a chuckle in his tone. Aelius looks back at him, slowly, he slightly wondered how this man could have known his, but he honestly didn't care. Rudely, he steps away from the railing of the marble bridge. He walks back into the commons area of one of the richer areas of the city. He thinks about the old man as he looks at the birds flying high in the sky. He sighs then walks around more. This city is so boring.

  oO- Rapul Neinder and Idarion-Oo The young Roaknyan boy had voyaged from his house to explore other regions and to perform for money. The boy sat outside nearby a busy market street and sat on a crate with his bird on his shoulder. He held his ocarina firmly in his hands and played a calm relaxing melody.The Adarna bird on his shoulder began repeating each note along with Rapul and soon the two were in chorus among the streets.
Several people stopped by to hear the half-cat boy play and threw some money in his little hat which he had laid on the ground in front of him. Rapul played with his eyes half closed and would sneak a glance at how much a person would throw for him. It wasn't much but it was enough to feed him and his bird for a few days. Rapul finished his song and then bowed to everyone and collected the money from his hat and placed it back on his head. "Well Idarion, that was a good session. Let's take a break and return in a few minutes." Rapul said to the bird on his shoulder. It nodded it's head and chirped in agreement. The boy pulled out a piece of bread from a pocket inside his jacket and tore small bits off for him and his beast as they took a snack break. Where am I: Tokai City

As the well dressed hunter wanders through town, he passes by people talking. They're in a happy mood, like always. No ones ever sad in this city. Unless they're losing money, because if you lose money, your life in this town is over. As he walked his aristocratic robe flew in the wind. The seemingly middle-aged man thought about what this city would be like with a little excitement. He needed to test his strength against something, but nothing came up, nothing to do. It gets boring, he never really thought of traveling because it would take up time and he would meet...people. He didn't like people.
As he wandered aimlessly through the town he walked into a market place. Aelius liked the marketplace in this city because it wasn't loud. A lot of the people here were like him, quiet and enjoy quiet, but are always looking for a little excitement. As the old hunter passed through the market he spotted a group of people tossing money into a boy's hat. He took a second to look at the boy before walking onwards, the boy seemed to be some sort of animal. He had the ears of a cat, he was probably some sort of mutant. Disgusting Aelius thought as he looked away from the boy. He was playing music on an Ocarina, the music wasn't bad but i wasn't good. It was merely just another sound that this old hunter had heard.
Aelius studied the group of people at the market today, he was the richest one there, he could tell by their robes. His was the most ornate, vibrantly colored. He stuck out in the crowd. Some looked at whispered to another.
"That's the aristocrat, Aelius Harmen."
Man whispers to a man besides him. They stop and glance at him before looking elsewhere. Aelius then hears someone else whisper.
"He's the last remaining Harmen descendant. The bloodline will end with him."
Another man chimes in. Aelius couldn't fully understand the fascination everyone had with him, he wasn't that special. He was just a two-hundred year old rich aristocrat, no big deal right? Another voice whispers to another in the crowd.
"Yeah, unless he finds a wife."
"Who would marry him? He's so mean, no one in their right mind would like him."
That would have been hurtful but Aelius has heard worse. He was able to hear these whispers because he was a hunter, he had to hear well or he wouldn't get as much game as he did. The hunter passes through the marketplace, the crowd moves away from him as he walks by. Everyone in this town feared him and respected him, it was strange but Aelius never began to care. As he left the market the normal interactions between the people continued.Where am I?: Tokai City

As Rapul and Idarion took their snack break, he noticed the crowd's reaction suddenly changed. They all began chattering and making gossip about some guy that was passing by in fancy clothes.
"Hmm. Must be somebody famous in order for everyone to be so chatty over one man Curiousity poked at this half cat as he finished his food and decided to randomly pursue this famous man.
Rapul stalked the guy as he began to leave the market area. He didn't want to have to chase him all day though, so he decided to attempt to talk to the man." Hey. Hey mister! Wait up." He hollered with a silly smile trying to get through a crowd of people. Where am I: Tokai City

As the properly dressed hunter proceeds through the city, young childs voice could be heard from behind him. He slightly turns his head to see the mutant-hybrid whatever he was boy behind him, telling him to wait up. Maybe this was something important, something worth his time. Something that will add a little more interest in his life. Probably not. He sighed and spoke "What do you want?" He spoke to the mutt in a slightly harsh voice. He didn't mean to be that way, it was just his personality and his normal speaking voice. Maybe thats why people didn't like himWhere am I?: Tokai City

Rapul couldn't help but stop when the man replied. He was taken back by how rude the guy was. Geesh, didn't know famous people were this harsh. He thought to himself. At first Rapul wasn't sure how to reply, and Idarion made a few short whistle sounds that seemed more like music notes than a bird's chirp.
Rapul smirked and gave a small laugh at the bird. He picked up his ocarina and plaid a few notes in return to the bird. " Ha, maybe that is what's wrong with him, but I won't ask such personal questions." " He said to the bird on his shoulder. " Sorry to bother you sir, it just seemed like everyone was making a big deal about you back there so I was curious as to why." Rapul replied trying to stay calm near such a jerk and showed his little cat smile. Where am I: Tokai City

The hunter stares into the boy's eyes. He seemed like the boy was talking to the bird before he spoke to him. Then the kid asked why everyone was acting so rudely towards him. As if that mattered, Aelius had gotten used to the mean treatment from everyone, maybe it was because he had more. He honestly didn't know. He decided not to be mean and to speak to the boy. "If you honestly must know.They think I'm 'rude' and 'mean' but it's probably because they feel belittled when I entered, wearing more expensive attire than them. I don't really take notice of them.Where am I?: Tokai City

Rapul raised his eyebrow to how the man explained everyone's chatter. He snorted a little and smiled at the man. That's crazy. People shouldn't be judged by their clothes or first impressions." Although the guy did seem rude, Rapul was certain the guy couldn't be too bad.
Idarion looked to the sky suddenly a made some more musical sounds. Rapul's expression changed quickly to that of slight anxiety. " Aw no, a storm really? We need to find shelter quick then." Rapul replied to his bird sadly. Both of them couldn't stand storms in one way or the other. At least he made enough money for an Inn from his previous performances. The half cat boy could feel a breeze beginning to pick up quickly which was an unexpected change from the beautiful sun that had been shining all day. His little cat tail flickered suddenly and his ears perked down as the boy began to glance around for some sign of a motel. Where am I: Tokai City

The hunter studies the boy. Atleast he wasn't stupid. Maybe he would grow to liking this boy. He wasn't very annoying. He obviously wasn't from this city, considering how all of the children here are stuck up and rude. "Hmm that is correct, I agree with it, but what if the person were to show no emotions? What if you had nothing to judge that person by other than their appearance? I do not want to justify the treatment that I have been getting but I want to hear your opinion about this. You are probably the only person to talk to in this city." The hunter speaks and then looks at the sky, it changes to a dark grey color, which was normal for this city, thats why the air was so clean, the rainwater freshened the air and made it so much better. He did not want his conversation with the mutt to be interrupted so he spoke to him again. "Let us continue this conversation elsewhere, meet me at my house. You'll know which one it is, it matches the color as my apparel, crimson and goldenrod. I am looking forward to continuing this conversation." With that, the hunter walked towards his house. He dissapeared from the boys sight into the crowd of people walking inside because of the weather. When he started to dissapear the rain came down, first slowly then came down a little harder. This was the nicest the hunter has been in a long time.
In about a minute the hunter appears at his doorstep. His house had marble pillars outside that were goldenrod with crismon decals running along the sides. It cost a fortune, but for being alive so long and being born into a rice nobility, he was sure to get some currecy. He walks up the white marble stairs and walks towards his wooden door. The door was colored with crimson and goldenrod and showed a hunter catching game. Hev puts his right hand on the goldenrod handle and turns it clockwise. He opens the door and steps inside. Rapul's ears twitched as the man tried giving a reason as to why the others would mock him. No emotions? That doesn't seem right. He thought to himself as the fancy man seemed to enjoy Rapul's company.
The well dressed man cut the conversation short and told Rapul they would continue it at his house.
"Oh, that's ok. I have money for an Inn." Rapul said meekly, afraid to go to a stranger's home. The sky had change color however, and the man left without so much giving the boy a chance to follow."Oh no. Um. I guess we don't have much choice then, Idarion." The rain soon came down and the boy and his bird began to freak out. Rapul tried to cover Idarion with his jacket so he wouldn't get wet, and ran as fast he could down the streets. The man gave the boy no direction of what street he should be looking on, just the color of house. He ran down several different paths in the roads, bumping into people a long the way. A sound of thunder crashed and the boy let out a small yelp and ended up tripping over the curb. The bird let out several cries of panic and Rapul struggled to get back up while keeping the rain away from Idarion.
Luckily the boy had been in such a panic while running, the curb he tripped over was infront of a house colored as the fancy man had described. Rapul sighed with slight relief, but his heart was racing now as the small storm was taking effect. He made it to the front door of the man's house, but another crack of thunder struck and the boy collapsed to his knees in fear. He just sat there soaking wet and shivering with his face tucked into his jacket, his tail wrapped around his side, and reached out one arm as he let a slow knock on the door.

The hunter opens the door wearing another outfit, this time he wore a pure white robe. It was spotless nothing was on it. He looked down at the boy. He was soaking wet. He then looks back up at the sky. There was lightning. That wasn't good. "Enter, I'll get some tea ready." The hunter speaks in a normal tone of voice. He opens the door and walks into his house. His floor was a crimson/brown sort of color and the walls were brown. The roof was white like marble. In his house he had decorative chair that looked like they haven't been used. he normally doesn't have any guests...actually...he never has guests. The hunter starts to make the tea. Then brings it in the living room of his house. He calls the boy over to sit.Where am I?: Tokai City

The fancy man had let Rapul in and Rapul hurried and shut the door behind him. His heart was still racing, but he still knew his manners. The cat boy didn't want to get the man's house wet so he took off his soaking wet coat and tried to shake some of the water off of him near the front door. Idarion was now free from Rapul's coat and shook off only a few drops of water then flew up to Rapul's shoulder and let out a small song note."I'm sorry, I tried my best to keep the rain off of you." Rapul said to the colorful bird.
The man Rapul met earlier went to make tea and then showed him to a chair to sit. It didn't seem like the man had a place to sit though. Rapul decides to do the appropriate thing and sat down on the floor in front of the chair. Sounds of thunder rumbling lowly could still be heard from outside and Rapul burried his face in his knees and his tail still wrapped around his side. His claws dug into his own legs as he tried his best to get ahold of his nerves. Idarion tried nuzzling the boy a little. The thunder didn't bother the bird as much, just mainly the rain.
Rapul poked his head up just a little so only his scared little eyes could be seen."I'm sorry, sir. I don't mean to intrude on your home. I won't stay long, I promise. I have money for an Inn after all and I'm not that great in strange surroundings." He said sheepishly then burried his face again as if hiding from the storm.

As he cruises, he looks around. "Hmm, certainly looks like a place for a good hunt or two." Looking down all gloomy, then he whips out a paper of his target. "At this rate, Ill never get anywhere close to finding this guy. One with all of these buildings, he could be anywhere......" He looks around and then turns a corner still strolling.

The hunter sat in a chair right across from the boy, they sat at a small ornate table with crimson markings on it. He took the tea kettle and poured tea into a small crimson cut and gently gave it to the boy. He was really wet, the storm must have raged on. "Oh it is no intrusion, I invited you in. I can understand your fear of being invited into someone you just met's home, but I ensure you, you wouldn't want to be in the inn around the annoying inn keepers. Now back to our previous conversation. How would you judge someone if they didn't show you anymore of themselves than their outsides? Would you judge their appearance then?" The hunter quizzes the boy. His crimson eyes were locked into the boys, he always remained eye contact, his manners were well trained for being alive all of these years, even though we wasn't the nicest of people.Where am I?: Tokai City
