So - I've been with an intact male before but my long term partner is cut. His mum was young and he was born in the 70s so she had no idea that her baby returned to her was auto-cut. She didn't know anything about the subject and they just did it without her really realising. So I'm not upset at his mum for it; in fact; I wouldn't be anyway since it isn't my place and I love his mum - she's a wonderful lady.

But so, the head of his p***s is as dry as his shaft or even the backs of his hands and so there are tiny folds or cracks in the skin (not to the point of bleeding or discomfort to him) but I just get upset sometimes thinking about how it just isn't supposed to be that way. I was watching a documentary on sexual health where the nurse pulled back the foreskin of an adult intact male and the head was so soft; perfectly shaped and glistening and moist that I got upset about how my partner isn't that way; that the head of his p***s is totally uncovered and unprotected. And it really pains me to think of him as a newborn; being cut by these strangers while his mum is totally unaware of this torture.

I've talked to him about it before; obviously as you know it's a really sensitive issue. He says he is totally fine with being cut - he doesn't know any different - he doesn't want to try restoring his foreskin but at the same time he is as heavily anti-circumcision as I am as he knows it is unethical and he would never have it done to an infant himself.
I just find myself wishing he was intact and finding his casual attitude depressing and I don't know where to move on from here.

Maybe people with similar stories can shed some light on this for me?

Well I have no idea what to tell you. Just be happy he is not all torn up over it?

I think the best you could do is attempt to show him just how much better it would be to feel restored and such. Or hey! Get him a Man Hood!
