My name is Thyra Blaire and I am a demigod .
I have seen a lot in my 17 years.
My Mortal Parent, Marissa , raised me from birth.
Though it turns out I am descended from (Godly relation - leave this blank unless you are a legacy!)
What led to my discovery of all this? Well you see...
I was raised by my mother in some lame town near San Francisco in a tiny apartment. She worked at this dumpy garage fixing up cars and motorcycles and pretty much anything else people brought in. Refrigerators, toasters, anything really. The guy she worked for was always too cranked up to run a respectable business, so when he finally OD'd my mom took what little savings we had and bought it. Within a year we were already making over twice the amount in a little over than half the time. We added a top floor above the garage and moved in there and everything was great. For my mom at least.

I had a lot of trouble in school. I don't mean grade wise. Although some of my grades could have been better. I was always bullied since I started school and it got worse as I headed up into higher grades. Hardly a day went by when I wasn't sent home early covered in scrapes with a note to my mother. She couldn't really be mad though. At least not for long. She knew it wasn't my fault though it did exasperate her to see me in trouble so frequently. She always told me to defend myself. I never threw the first hit though I threw the last one. A couple of times I sent a kid to the hospital for a broken nose or arm or a concussion. It was self defense. I can't say I didn't enjoy it though. Eventually I had to see a counselor because they thought I had mental disorders. He was a nice man and I thought we would get along well until he turned out to be a cyclops. Kind of put a damper on things. I don't know how I escaped. I blacked out a bit and my memory is a but hazy I never told my mother and just wrote it off as a weird dream.

A few days after that my mother and I were closing up for the evening when we were visitedby some man. My mother told me to go upstairs and start on dinner. I tried to listen through the floor but they spoke quietly and I had to start on dinner. I wasn't too suspicious of anything. I know some of my mother's regulars were less than model citizens. A few weeks passed and I forgot about it until one day when I came home from school my mother told me we were going on a trip and she already had our bags packed. I didn't think much of it since it was the only one we had ever taken and I was very excited. It didn't go quite like I imagined though. Instead of the vacation I'd dreamed of I was dropped off at the Wolf House where I was trained by Lupa. Thankfully I managed to make it through and was able to make my journey to Camp Jupiter.

And that's when I arrived at Camp Jupiter.
Since then, I have been at camp for 10 years.
And I have the rank of Praetor
In the (cohort - leave this blank!) Cohort.

I usually am told I act like Very cold and laid back. Which isn't to say I'm unfriendly. I'm just a little "rough around the edges" as my mother would say. , but I'm never quite...."there" if you catch my drift. Aloof, I guess you could say. The only time I truly come alive is when I'm in battle. The sounds of clashing weapons, the huge rush of adrenaline, the smell of blood, coming up with the perfect strategy to destroy my opponents....all of it is so perfect. Some people think I suffer from insanity and I revel in the battle a little too much. But everyone has their passions right? Besides, I'm to smart to be crazy. I'm like a genius when it comes to battle. I take my job as Praetor quite seriously and refuse to tolerate any disrespect. I have a temper though it's not fiery. I'm usually crass and abrasive and a little hot headed as it is. But when I loose my temper it's more like an icy death, submerging everything in a .
I really like battling, weapons, winning, and hot weather.
But I hate sitting still, loosing, being cold, and grapes.
And Please don't bring in the dark and drowning.

In case I have to fight I have Twin daggers and a long sword. All made of imperial gold.
I'm really good at fighting and dancing
But I'm horrible at checkers and singing.

Roleplay Scenario:

Heart pounding and lungs burning, the small girl ran swiftly through the dense woods. Thyra grinned as she looked back and saw that the bear was still chasing her. It wasn't exactly fully grown but it was definitely a far cry from a cub. And it was surprisingly fast, however, Thyra wasn't exactly concerned about it. There was only a short distance to go, and she had never felt so alive. Admittedly, she probably should have retreated after it had first spotted her and showed the signs of aggression, but when she remembered the bear trap she had spotted before and thought of how much she missed the taste of meat she just had to go for it. Plus, it would be a fun story to tell how she got her own bear tooth necklace.

A silver glint caught her eye, shaking Thyra from her thoughts and focused her mind back on the present. Checking behind her to make sure it was still coming she was shock to see how much it was gaining. 'Damn that thing can haul,' she thought as she tried to pick up her pace. Nearing the trap she leaped into the air and gracefully landed on the other side of the metal contraption. Thyra kept going until she heard the satisfying snap of the trap going off and the pained cry of the beast before slowing down and stopping. Laughing through shallow breaths, she looked for a hard branch to fashion into a makeshift spear so she could finish the the job. Looking back to check on the bear as she finished her work, she noticed that it wasn't there. Blinking in surprise she listened closely for sounds of it's location but couldn't hear anything over the pounding in her heart. A mangled cry eminated from the bushes to her left, barely giving Thyra enough time to dodge out of the way. Pain exploded through her entire body as she landed on her side. The beast had gotten her shoulder but just barely. Still, it was sure to leave a nasty mark.

Scrambling to her feet and grabbing her poor weapon, she dashed away, weaving in and out of trees and bushes trying to lose the angry bear. Her survival instinct kicked in, and this time she chose to listened to it this time, barely avoiding being eaten by the bear The trap and injured it's leg some, making it's movements much more awkward and the beast itself much more pissed. Tired and in pain, Thyra could feel herself starting to slow down. Ahead, Thyra noticed a large gap of missing land and skidded to a halt. A steep rocky slope had appeared before her and while it would be doable if one were to take their time going down, Thyra didn't really have time and one wrong step would likely end very painfully for the girl. Hearing the bear growl behind her, she turned to face it.

Adrenaline hummed through her entire body and she stood with her poorly crafted spear aimed straight at the bear's heart. She only had one chance to do this. The bear charged towards her, letting out a loud cry and right as it was on her she leaped out of the way, the claws of the bear grazing her leg before the beast wobbled over the edge, struggling to find it's balance. Taking her chance, Thyra rushed the beast with the wide end of her spear and jammed it as hard as she could into the beast's back, sending it toppling over the edge and down the rough hill.

She waited until the bear hit the bottom and several minutes more to make sure it was dead before carefully picking her way down. Twice she almost fell but somehow she managed to make it down, though she did end up tripping down the last half of it. Cautiously approaching the bear, she hesitated before leaning closer to make sure it wasn't breathing. Not a sound came from it and it looked to be completely still. Thyra raised her stick and jabbed it. Nothing happened. Letting out a loud cheer Thyra started dancing around and hollering until the adrenaline wore off and the grueling pain returned to her left shoulder and right calf. Man was there a lot of blood. Sitting down, she took off her jacket and ripped it up to staunch the blood as she took stock of her new surroundings. It was getting dark and she needed to set up camp for the night. Glancing about she noticed a tunnel not to far off. That would do perfectly! She looked back to the bear. It wasn't going anywhere and she could come back for it later, right? Grimacing as she stood she limped her way to the tunnel.
