You're just an average teen: moody, independant, rebellious, and
troublesome. Nothing too special. Until one day.... you wake up with
mysterious powers. There's no answer on how you got them. You keep
them hidden from everyone, afraid that they'll call you a freak. You live
like that for a couple of months, growing distant from your family and
friends... but that ends fast. You accidently slip up, and reveal your
powers... and just like that, you're life is ruined. The government wants to
capture you.... who knows what they'll do? Everyone in the U.S. knows
about you, and they're afraid of you. Not knowing exactly what to do, you
decide that you must run away, and find the others. I mean, there has
to be others... right? You can't be alone. So go find them. But be careful...
lots of people are after you.

What am I like? Well, I'll admit that I'm a bit of a loudmouth at times and that I can be overly-cheerful. Optimistic, creative, confident, energetic, childish, and playful are some of my more positive traits.
My Powers: I can control soundwaves. It's pretty dangerous, if I have to say so myself. The soundwaves can make things explode, vibrate violently, simply just damage your hearing, and that kinda stuff. You might wonder if I get tired from using my powers. I don't. In fact, I feel really powerful, like I could... take over the world. It sounds really bad, which it is, but it's a good feeling.... wait what am I saying!? Nevermind.
How did I reveal my powers? Well, it was a pretty stupid mistake. I was at a party, and of course there was music. Then, some idiot kid decided to turn it off. Everyone was drunk and annoyed.... including me. I tried using my powers to turn it back on, and it worked. But it was too loud. Way too loud. Everyone began to scream and cover their bleeding ears. The stereo system was shaking violently and the house was vibrating uncontrollably. Then, everything just.... exploded. I woke up in the hospital and was one of the few survivors of the explosion. Everyone else was dead or permanently deaf. So I escaped the hospital and ran off into the woods.

I'm generally very secluded since I don't need anyone to take care of me, but I'm not so open to most people now that people know about my powers. I'm only ever happy when I'm with my dolls. My Powers: I am able to control the dolls that I make, I don't know how but they seem to respond to me and do their best to take care of me and protect me. How did I reveal my powers? My parents and friends began to get worried about me thinking I was getting into drugs or something like that so they watched me and saw my dolls moving and floating as if they were real and so they blabbed about it.

What am I like? Well people say that I am Nice, compassionate, lethal, fiercely loyal but cool.
My Powers? Heh, well I guess you could say that I can fly.
How did I reveal my powers? It started at the beginning of last year, probably the middle of march. I started to get these weird back aches, but I didn't think much of it at first. They barely lasted an hour. But then they started to get worse, to the point that I couldn't even touch my back. My bones ached, my muscles screamed and my skin felt like it was being stretched. I dunno, it was really weird and awful. So my mom took me to the doctor's finally, but he barely looked at me. He said that my shoulder blades were swelling up, and asked if I had injured my back at any point? He sent me away with some painkillers.
Sorry, I know that this is long and boring, but it is necessary. Luckily for you, things are about to get a whole lot more interesting. I was changing in the locker rooms after a particularly painful hour of PE. I noticed that my shirt was wet with blood, so naturally I check my back in the closest mirror. Two long tears started underneath my shoulder blades and were leaking blood and this weird silvery stuff. Worst of all, something was poking out of my back. I freaked, but who wouldn't? The remaining guys in my locker room started freaking out too, and eventually the coaches came down. We all watched in horror as these two wet things were pushed out of my back. They were covered in the silvery stuff with a few traces of blood and hung limply down my back. I was rushed to the ER were I underwent a lot of testing. After a few hours the things started to dry and took up the shape of wings, feathers and all. I escaped in the middle of the night, just in time. I learned from the news that a bunch or reporters and scientists were coming over to take a look at me. Worse of all, some a*****e had recorded my wings coming out of my back and posted it on youtube. Now like half the world knows who I am. Great.

 Hi, nice to meet you! My name's Connor Tenebre I'm 16 years old, surprised? I'm a Male, just so you know. I fall in love with Girls. What am I like? I am is a quiet, sometimes selfish, lazy, and antisocial (although I try not to be,) but once you get to know me I am a loyal compassionate friend to have, but I have a dark side too My Powers: Controlling/Manipulating shadows, but it drains a lot of energy, so once I use it I have to eat, or sleep. How did I reveal my powers? This all started when my Ability was getting harder to hide. Where ever I went I had to wear long sleeves because no matter what I did the shadows engulfed my arms. Sadly that wasn't the half of it. I had an evil Bully that hated me, and one day I had enough of it, so I asked him to fight, and when he said yes I fought him, but I'm weak, so he beat the s**t out of me, so when I was getting really pissed the shadows around me started to move, and shutter as if they were alive. The Shadows "attacked" my bully... so yeah here I am.

Shay leapt over the fence that separated her backyard from the woods. She landed lightly on her feet and immediately began to run. The girl hadn't even had a chance to finish packing, before the police knocked down her front door. You see, Shay had run from the hospital, straight to her house to pack some stuff before escaping the city. As you can see, her simple plan didn't work. She did her best trying not to stumble over low shrubs and fallen tree branches, but couldn't help but make a lot of noise when stepping on the leaves that coated the forest ground. Shay had always been a fit and athletic girl, but with all the negative excitement going on and the heat of summer, she began to tire. Luckily, the sun was already going down, so it was bound to get cooler. Also, it would be harder for the po-po to find her in the dark.... and harder for her to run. She wouldn't be able to see in the dark, and wild animals came out at night. Who knows what they'd do to her?
Shay's heart pounded hard in her chest, beads of sweat appearing on her forehead. She could hear the blood rushing through her head and could feel the burning heat on her flushed cheeks. She leapt over another rotted log, nearly tripping over one of it's long branches. She could hear the police behind her, beams of light coming from their flashlights shined all around. Shay could use her powers on them, but she didn't want to hurt anyone else. Her only goal was to escape.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Connor sits in the woods, it had been the third week that he had gone with very little food. The rabbit he was cooking had a shadow spear in it "I really hope that this doesn't do anything to it." Connor had never used his 'ability in this way before, but when he was hungry he would do anything. The boy's powers were still new to him, but he almost knew how to use them perfectly like he had them all his life. Biting into his dinner it was dry, but it was food, and that's all he cared about. Since his powers drained his energy he was almost always eating, or sleep. Out of the corner of his eyes he sees a russling in the distance, forming a shadow around his hand he goes on guard. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alice Margatroid Please don't harm me... Alice had been wandering through the forest for quite a long time and now that it started to get dark she began to get scared and hugged one of the dolls floating besides her while the other kept a good eye out for her, the doll heard russeling and saw light and pulled Alice away and tried to push her into a crevice made by two collapsed trees. Alice hid in there and hugged the doll tighter as it hugged her back. ...I've done nothing wrong.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Connor put the skeleton of the eaten rabbit into the fire, "thank you for the food," Connor says to the rabbit. Out of the corner of his eye he sees a bright light in the sky, and more rustling in the surrounding area, "s**t, army" Connor quickly takes out the fire, and covers himself in a shadow like it was clock work. Connor had been running for almost a month now, so he was use to this; hiding on the spot, and the shadows and all made it a little easier "Just breath, stay calm." The boy says to himself as he tries not to move. Sorry writer's block---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shay was full-out sprinting. Her heart was beating faster than ever and she was absolutely terrified (which was pretty rare for her). She could hear the police getting closer, their flashlights pointed right at her. The only probable reason that they weren't shooting was that they didn't want to injure their to-be test experiment or that there were to many trees in the way. Shay was getting too tired. She was starting to lose feeling in her legs and she couldn't seem to get enough air in her lungs. Out of fatigue, she closed her eyes. That's when she fell. The girl tripped over a stupid, fallen tree trunk, nearly falling flat on her face. Luckily, she twisted and landed on her side instead, knowing from experience that if she were to try to cushion her fall with her hands, she'd break her wrists. The impact of the ground to her shoulder was immense and Shay gasped with the pain. But remembering that the cops weren't far behind her was enough to make her forget it for a bit. She quickly rolled into the underbrush and crouched under a pine tree, hiding.
Once the police had run past her, Shay let out a long and loud sigh. She didn't think she had any broken bones from the fall and was actually in pretty good shape despite what had just happened. Also, this place under the tree was surprisingly comfortable. The dull, dead pine needles were strangely soft and the branches overtop would provide her protection from the rain and sun. The only disadvantage was that the pine needle that were on the tree were very pointy and made Shay itch.... but, whatever. She was hungry, thirsty, and tired, but there wasn't any food or water available, so all she could do was fix her problem with being tired. Closing her eyes again, she settled down on her bed of needles and dozed off, thinking about how a fat, juicy hamburger would taste at the moment.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Connor laid still as he heard people rush past his, one even stepped on him; "ow you b*****d." Once the sound got farther away he steps out of the shadows. Connor hears someone under a near tree breathing deeply, he grabs the sharped shadow that was stabbed into the ground where the fire was, and slowly walks closer to the breathing, it was dark, but he found his way to the sound; putting his shadow to the person's throat, and covers their mouth "You scream, and I will kill you, but the cops must have been after you, if you don't try to kill me I have food." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shay woke up to the sound of soft footsteps treading towards her. Her eyes snapped open and she placed her hands in front of her, palms out, ready to blast the police officer to pieces with a sound wave. But of course she wouldn't do that. First of all: because she was still afraid of hurting someone. Second of all: because her attacker wasn't a police officer. It was some guy.
A hand covered her mouth and weapon pressed uncomfortably against her throat. "You scream, and I will kill you," the guy said. Shay rolled her eyes. "But the cops must have..." Blah blah blah. More words. ".... I have food." the guy finished. Food? Shay's eyes widened. She wanted food. She tried moving, but the weapon restricted her. She couldn't look down to see what it (the weapon) was without risking getting hurt, so she settled on looking at the guy instead. He was tall and lanky with ruby-red eyes. His looks were decent, but he wasn't really 'built' like the jocks at Shay's school. Overall, she gave him the rating of seven. It was something she and her friends used to do. Rate guys based on their looks. It was fun... while it lasted. Ignoring the depressing thought, Shay grinned, despite the hand on her mouth. Hearing a bird chirp, she flexed her hands, amplifying the bird chirp, causing the pine tree they were under to vibrate, and gave him a warning look. If you're not going to take a step back, boy, I will crush you with this tree. she thought. She was okay will making this mental threat (and following through with it if he didn't back off) because it would be hurting him indirectly... right? And besides, he had a choice...
