the recent one that i read would be Otomen. quite a good read actually.

So the story basically goes like this. As a boy, Masamune Asuka really likes cute and girly things. His father left his mother and him declaring that he wanted to become a woman. Scarring the mother for life, she warns her son to not be like his dad and become masculine. He does, but secretly still does the cute stuff like shojo manga, sewing, cooking all these things. then he falls in love with a girl. he doesn't want her to find out about about his deep secret so he tries his hardest to hide it.

Otomen means similar to girly boy. Otome means lady. and they put the men together. so basically its a really bad pun XD (and no he doesn't cross dress)
