- Oki Temple - ---------- A large temple sits within the Western Region of Emporia in Novalius. It is considered a sacred place where you may pray to the gods.
A small shrine can be found deep within the temple. Many religious people make the trek through the temple to reach this shrine where they claim you can speak to the gods directly. This rumor has never been proven true though.
Oki Temple is quiet and there is little threat of being attacked by beasties. This also stems from a legend that a barrier keeps evil away. ----------

♛SHEIK KONAME and BATTENTE♛ ▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆ We trample on expressions of love, even as God begins to break. _______________________________________________________________ *From Ruhig Woods* After having a horde of angry monstrous poison tipped wasps attack the group at Ruhig Woods, as it was nesting season and the group had used some of their homes as firewood and was trespassing, the group had escaped to fly on the outskirts of a shrine within the western region. The quetz and Dragoon boy glided outside of a huge abandoned ruin that was said to ward of beasts and evil. As Battente began to coil himself as he landed, Sheik hurried and jumped off hoping none of the rest of the group got left behind or injured from the wasp stingers. "Geesh, I figured that place would have been more peaceful. Glad we're out of there at least. Sheik said checking his previous injuries and making sure none of the stingers had hit him without him realizing. "Eh, I'm sure the least of our worries are over for now. Just as long as we don't head too far to unwanted territories, we should be able to avoid bigger problems than some giant wasps." Banttente said flatly thinking about the war.

* From Ruhig Woods *ஐ ▹▹► Verspielt had followed Battente until they had reached a random place. Which was Oki Temple. Verspielt landed lightly on the ground outside the ruined temple, folding his wings and leaning down to let Kameja dismount. "Been awhile since I've been here." He walked a little ways away, glancing at the falling pillars that led inside.
Kameja trotted over to join him, "It's... Serene. What did you do here?" She asked him as she scoured over markings on the pillars.
"Just a mission." Verspielt replied, with a bit of "I'd rather not discuss it" tone. He settled down, glad to be away from the danger but a little worried about the others. Karzoh sighing and admiring the area as Stone hopped off his back. You know Stone, your father always wanted to come here with you. he said softly, nuzzling her to move around and see. You could tell how the atmosphere changed around her with the mention of her father. Almost as peaceful as the temple. ______________________________________________________________________________________________

Zilla landed next to the group, his large wings folding onto his back as Prophet jumped off. "Well, that was fun. Who wants to go again?" Prophet joked, grabbing a stinger from his chest, and ripped it off. Thankfully, the stinger didn't touch his skin. "Prophet, you know what this place is, right?" Zilla asked, looking around. "Yeah, it's Oki Temple. Who wouldn't know that?" Prophet said, throwing the stinger away, at a safe distance.

He had merely planned to leave the castle a few days ago to take a break from all the monotonous work but ended up in fights for survival. That was fine though, it was fun for him. He just didn't want to risk anything happening to his comrades. "The werewolf has a wise point, boy. We should scout the area for precautionary measures." Battente said even though he knew this was a sacred place. They couldn't risk running into enemy troops or monsters under command of the opposing army. Who knew what would happen if an ambush or war broke lose without the necessary equipment. "Oh right. I'll check on the outside area while some of you can scout the inside of the temple and relax more." Sheik said nodding to Gaven and the rest of the group. He slowly began to walk a few yards away and bent down on the ground using the bit of his magic to scan the ground in semi circle radius. Nothing but signs of small animals and insects for now. The dragoon boy figured it probably wouldn't hurt to keep scanning the outskirts for awhile.

ஐ ▹▹► Hearing that a plan had been made to scout the area, Verspielt turned to Kameja, "Why don't we help scout inside the temple then?" He walked slowly to the entrance that was covered in vines that contrasted against beautiful white marble carvings.
Kameja followed after him, "Alrighty. Though I thought legend said a barrier protected this place?" They made it into the thick-walled temple and wandered down a hallway, "This place is beautiful!" She traced a finger over a marble statue of what appeared to be a god.
Verspielt walked on, looking into rooms to make sure nothing was hiding, "That's just it. It's a legend. So we have to be on the safe side." It seemed nobody else had decided to enter the temple yet to scout. "We shouldn't go too far in alone." "Legends can be true though. A lot of people thought I wasn't real until Zilla hear helped me out with that." Prophet said, following. Zilla, though quite large, had fit in well. "Well, humans make up legends about many things, just so happens that I am quite good in that area." Zilla said, chuckling. His head then hit the ceiling, causing him to growl, in annoyance more than pain. "I'm getting too big for most things these days." Zilla said, still following, but bending his neck so his head wouldn't hit anything.

Knowing almost everyone was going to check the inside she shook her head and turned around. Ill check the outskirts. Not all danger can lie inside. she said calmly as both Stone and the dragon kept walking around. The dragon sighed and followed, he knew she was well prepared to face almost anything. As they both walked around she scanned every single detail, making sure nothing out of normal was in sight. ______________________________________________________________________________________________

Gaven looked at Stone, "I'll come with." He followed her outside and looked around for anything out of the ordinary. He spotted what appears to be two giant, anthropomorphic stone heads, ancient in texture, resting near the structure. He rubbed his palm against it, the graininess felt at the slightest touch. "I wonder... This reminds me of a story my father told me. About a man who made a deal with a witch to make him invincible, and in return he had to carry a precious rock up a hill by nightfall. He saw how much the precious rock was worth, and sold it to a vendor and became wealthy. Little did he know, that the witch placed a curse on him until he did the deed, but as night reached its end, he became incarcerated in rock, for foolishly selling the object he was set out to carry up a hill."
Gaven looked away from the giant head, and towards Stone, "My father said bad things happen when you don't do what you were told to do, to make me obedient as a child I guess. Anyway, sorry for the distraction." He smiled bleakly, and looked back at the giant head, and found some oblong shaped rocks near it. "I wonder how old this is; this is definitely older than me."

Sheik sensed something under the ground nearby and his dragon began to dig it up with his tail. A metal cage-looking device was buried under the dirt and the dragon stopped before he set it off. "It seems somebody has tried to use this sacred land for battle traps. Don't set it off or we'll all be drained of our magic all day." The dragon said and had Sheik disarm it with his nature abilities. "Let's keep an eye out for any more traps like this then. If we record their where abouts, we may be able to have our soldiers use them against the other kingdom." Sheik said as he began scanning some more. No more than a few minutes after saying that, there was a light ringing noise coming from the boy's pocket. His communication crystal for the Castle was going off. Oh no..... The king thought to himself and looked at his dragon and could tell it wasn't good news. "It seems some of our troops were massacred in the East. Should we return to the kingdom? We can't just leave the group though...." He said in a quiet and low voice. The dragon shook his head in disagreement. "No, I think it'd be best not to worry them right away. Let's just hurry and check this area so the others won't be in any danger here and get back as quickly as we can." The boy sighed at this response but knew it'd be pointless to get everyone worked up at the moment. The boy nodded and did his best to scan the area. Other than traps underground, which he disarmed, the place was fine. It was sacred anyway and shouldn't have any troubles. *EXIT TO DRAGON KINGDOM*
