Okay, so last night I went on my first DMS speed run ever. Right before we went in, I had this idea to start a thread here so people have a place to tell their "first time" stories having to do with DMS, and a place to discuss them as well. It might be your first time defeating BL or your first Night Fright. Maybe your first time aggro'ing or starting your own crew.
So feel free to speak up and tell us a story! What happened in one of your "first times?" ^^

Last night I decided I reaaaally wanted to DMS and up my highest CL. After much poking and prodding, I finally got catz to join me, as well as a few other friends. (Insanity and Prism.)
It was my second time ever starting my own DMS crew, and my first time assigning buffs. Since I was currently only a cl 10.4, it would be a regular run. That is until one of the members decided she really wanted to do speed. She convinced the entire crew to take me on my first speed run, and I have to say I enjoyed it a lot.
I was so nervous at first because I had never gone on one before. I kept asking for advice on my rings, whether they were okay or not. Took me a while to get the buffs assigned, and by the time we were ready to start, 2 people had already left. Not a very good sign for the success of the mission. As if I wasn't nervous enough already.
Well we go in. I was really surprised at how fast-paced speed is, but looking back on it: duh! It was really fun. I only had any real trouble with one room that I kept dying in. The rest was okay. I got a whopping total of 20 ish shorbs from it, because we disbanded after only about 4-5 rooms. Oh well though, all in all it was not a bad experience. :3
After that, we went outside, and had a recruiting war with 2 other crews for DMS reg. A little newbie named UnNamed (okay pun not intended .-. ) asked me to crew him, and I'm really glad I did! He was nice, willing to learn, and good with his buffs. Not to mention he came prepared to his first DMS run with all his rings leveled up to 10.0! I'm glad he had fun on his first ever DMS run. We got done with that, and Insanity, catz, and I all talked with him in the null chamber. A great end to the great night!

I bought a bloodstone amulet because I thought I'd use it, but my first time DMSing, I couldn't believe the lead wouldn't let me take my rings I already had on, so I rage quit.
First time actually DMSing was with a pro aggro who was dressed as Alruna. *w* She was great and had friends in the crew and overall, it was fun.
First time GRing was when I was like 10.6. We had a 5-room YM, so the lead took us to GR. Unfortunately, the servers changed so once people left, out crew deteriorated.
It's been a while, but I'll never forget the one time a cursed a crew with nightfrights in almost every room. (We had about 6 before we died).
... It all started when I decided to play the Alastor puppet game, where you sit behind him and talk. I made him to this big fancy speech and my crew mates were dissing him, so I "cursed" them with Nightfrights. Imagine our surprise when we got them in almost every room!
My first time trying to get attuned failed as my sister dragged me from my computer to go outside. And we were in HPR! gonk Luckily, one of my good friends got my attuned at a later time when I was a higher level.
DMS brings about some really fun memories. 3nodding

My first DMS run was a real success. I'm even sure we hit GR by accident. Our aggro was Shadow Sinclair, was still learning the ropes of it at the time, but did a wonderful job on tanking. I didn't die once, or at least I think so. I was immediately a 10.3 with the shorbs on my first few runs that day. Now I'm at 11.7 and wanting to learn how to tank, because I'd like to get back to regular runs (I've been stuck with Speed for a while OTL). Well, yea, it was a great way to start DMSing.

My first dms run i honestly dont remember. but i think i was thought pretty well. Bought a bloodstone came in prepared and follows intructions. meh. then few months after i bought stone. DMS went public. and made a BIG mess xDD (ill post make a separate thread abt it) xD Edit: [This] Happened XDD

Just had a first time I won't ever forget. O_o Just joined a DMS Crew that attempted Speed. However, this crew had half of their people at CL 10.0, and none of them had all their rings at 10.0+. Other than that, they didn't heal, and that was over-all, undoubtedly the most unexperienced crew I've worked with. D: Why would a leader think that 10.0 would be good enough for Speed?

I looked at your thread. That's hilarious! Haven't you shown me those screenshots before? And yes, I was there when that happened. *is referring to the thread name* It was so laggy and there were so many people! xD I was angry about the bloodstone amulets as well, even though I did not have one myself yet!

My first DMS wasn't toO bad I don't remember how it went really but the 2nd or 3rd run I met NARI and she adopted me. And forever more had friends and help with zOMG. GarnetFae <3 Nari ^_^

It looks like you're having good progress! I started my first speed at 10.4 and did pretty well. I know they will help, just not sure when
