I am in the air now. I am in your lungs. I am written. I am spoken by a million flaming tongues. I'm the lens through which you see. I am the process. I am the key. I am synapses firing bullets from a gun. Sestran -Leader of the Hellfires- - False Student - The busy activity that came with a new school day had taken over the campus area of Karakura High School, though it was more of a roar in the courtyards themselves it was down to a hum in the library corner where Sestran had tucked himself away. While many humans were going about chatting about whatever drama’s were in their lives the leader of the hellfires was seated in a corner of the much quieter room. Several books were on the table in front of him and his crimson gaze glanced up from his ‘studies’ at the loud ringing of the first ‘warning’ bell signaling students to get to class.
There was a lot to take in after however many years he’d rotted in hell, he was still estimating close to a thousand, perhaps a little more or less but he wasn’t going to let a few scant circles of the earth around the sun to interfere with his assumption that it had been at least a millennia. He frowned slightly as a few more students entered the room, it was much louder the more people came in to return borrowed texts or browse for something to take away.
“Why did I allow Minari and the others convince me of this farce? The concept wasn’t a poor one, however; the noise, giggling, and staring aren’t exactly conducive to concentration.” Kazama thought with minor irritation as he watched the other students wandering the room. His uniform didn’t match theirs but the principle had allowed it since he was registered as an ‘exchange student’. The thought of how apt the description was offered a dry amusement, officially he was from China staying with family as he couldn’t exactly write ‘hell’ as his last place of residence.
Minari was likely elsewhere in the series of building’s that made up the school, though on his suggestion they were to act as though they did not know one another. Should someone discover his presence here the leader preferred no ties to any of his fellow revolutionaries. Not that he expected any sort of problem, but Minari had warned him some other students had spiritual energy beyond any sort of average human. Thus far he hadn’t seen any but he wasn’t going out of his way to see anyone. He doubted he would actually attend classes, he merely wished to study more of this world he was in now and a library such as the one provided here would suffice for that purpose.
His appearance wasn’t as a usual hellfire, he’d been perfecting his skill with illusion so if someone bumped into him it wouldn’t break and show his paleness; as he truly was. If he were jostled too much or if he attempted to release his power it would immediately dispel the cover up but he planned on neither. Apparently the secondary bell, which marked tardiness for those not present in their classrooms according to what he’d been briefed by Minari, would go off soon. The rest were filtering out again, there were a few more students than before but the quiet was returning so he refocused his attention to his current book. "At least it seems I will have some peace."

A Semi-Ordinary Human Girl
Just another day at school. Just another day of talking behind her back. Quietly, a young teenager with striking orange hair and a piercing violet eye made her way through the halls of the school building, books in hand, charcoal gray school uniform at bay. She hated having to wear it; the skirt was embarrassing enough for someone with her reputation. On the bright side, there was no rule against wearing shorts underneath it, which made her smile for once.
On her way down one of the halls to the library, the sound of incessant murmuring reached her peripheral hearing, before her head cocked to the side to see who it was. Oh joy, she thought, taking note of the crowd of giggling girls. Them again. Her gaze narrowed into that of a deathly glare. As if they were face-to-face with the Grim Reaper, the girls fell silent one by one, their faces holding a look of great fear. Immediately, they shuffled off at a rapid pace, leaving the loner alone to herself again. I can't stand these people. They're so judgmental. So what? One person has a bunch of scars, and suddenly they find an excuse to go around bullying? Yeah, right. How mature. A roll of her eyes indicated she was done hanging around, while one of her hands slid open the door to the library. Peace and quiet was just what she needed on a rainy day like today.
Thankfully, only one or two students were actually present in the corridor, to her pleasure. She quietly took a seat at one of the wooden tables, setting down her belongings, as she flipped open a sketchbook, turning each of the hundred-something drawings. There was a multitude of beautiful sketches, each with different intentions and meanings. The one that stood out above all was the one of what looked like a female samurai, blade withdrawn and glowing with vast power. It fascinated her, thinking about the fairy tales her mom and dad used to tell her as a child. A blank page flipped into view, and she took out a pencil, tapping it against the paper in contemplation as to what she would draw this time.
Hmmm... There were so many options she could choose from, be it fantasy or real life. Looking around, her eyes fell upon a man with blonde hair a few tables over, reading a book. She smirked, quickly sketching out a skeleton form, before going in and adding the immense details. This'll be fun. Never seen him around before, so it should make for a great art study. What, with that weird haircut. Hehe- Wait what color are his eyes? She glanced up once more, trying to make out the pigment they held. It was either a vibrant dark brown...or a heavy shade of crimson red. Either way, her drawing was going to be in black and white, so it held no difference...
Or so, she thought.

Sestran -Leader of the Hellfires- - False Student - Things had finally settled enough that he was able to read, he'd made it through half a chapter before the scratching of graphite on parchment shattered the momentary reprieve. Hoping it would pass he ignored it for a time, but it was making it difficult to concentrate, his senses were keen enough that it might as well have been happening just next to him. It drew up his eyes, currently a rich burgundy shade, staring unblinkingly for several long seconds at the girl that was apparently fascinated with him while she made such a racket.
She was clearly different than the other students, from appearance and dress to something he couldn't immediately put his finger on. Perhaps just the level to which she could rudely pester others.
"Be polite Sestran, people here don't know who or what you are. They will not react well if you are disrespectful of them." He remembered Minari's words of warning. They hardly seemed appropriate. She'd also told him that in general people had a decent grasp of etiquette.
"It is impolite to etch the likeness of someone that you failed to attain permission from." Sestran's tone was one of polite neutrality, matter of fact and somehow demanding of attention. His gaze didn't leave her during the moments of his contemplation to the statement made.
He had little expectation that any sort of apology would be forthcoming, humans in this age might have come far technologically but their behavioral patterns remained unremarkable.

While the girl was in the middle of starting the details on the coat, a peculiar voice reached her ears from the direction of the unsuspecting "model." Her glance raised from the paper to look at his gaze, raising an eyebrow at his sudden correction. She looked around without moving her head, before sighing and crumpling up the paper in her hands. "Sorry," she apologized, keeping her voice down low. "I'm at a lack of inspiration today. There's nothing to do in this...prison." The last word came out with a bitter sting. "I should be in class, but I can't stand those freaks." It was an odd way to use the description. After all, she was the one who was usually called a freak—what, with the scars running all up and down the right half of her body. Flustered, she wiggled the uniform jacket off of her shoulders, truly revealing the multitude of crevices up and down her neck, chest, and arm.
She glanced back over, blinking for a moment while she tried to phrase her question. "Aren't you knew around here? You don't look familiar."

Sestran -Leader of the Hellfires- - False Student - Perhaps the rare creature that could surprise him still existed, it seemed he'd gotten himself an apology after all. The further explanation wasn't needed but social interaction was one of the things Minari insisted he should work on. If the albino wasn't a needed part of future plans he doubted he would have gone along with this little play at all. As the paper crumpled he canted his head at her words. "I wonder child, if you have any possible grasp of what a true prison is..."
Still, that was the word in particular that had managed to peak his interest, keep him from simply returning to his textbook as opposed to extending the conversation. As she spoke he only continued to watch quietly, exceptionally little to read in his expression; if anything he looked incredibly bored despite the description resonating on some unspoken level.
"It is my first time in attendance, I am an exchange student from China." Sestran replied to the question. "Are these aberrations that seem to distress you the cause of your injury?" He didn't speak with pity or judgement, it was just a question. Perhaps if he could resolve her problem with the abnormal individuals he could return to reading in peace.

At the mention of her scars, she blinked. "Hm? Oh no, not at all," she explained. "It was the result of a bad accident ten years ago. Hehe. Nearly got mauled to bits by some demon with a skeleton mask. The, uhm, 'aberrations' were just a minor after-effect. They don't know what it's like to go through Hell and back. Of course, I don't either, but it must be excruciatingly painful." He could easily presume what it was, there were enough lowly hollow at his command, but if she was attacked, that could be part of the reason for the strange ambiance he felt from her. This girl's energy must be more than the average human.
At the mention of 'hell and back' he laughed, though it sounded more bitter than sweet. Closing the book and shifting to his feet, he was naturally graceful and precise in his movements. When he walked his back was perfectly straight, head held high, there was a noble feel to him even dressed as only a student. He walked over to where the girl was seated, eyes scanning her art page before offering a hand to her.
"You may address me as Sestran," He stated, his concentration present at the pleasantry. It was difficult keeping his own spiritual energy from flaring, more so when near others, but he was hardly one to back from a challenge. Her name sounded familiar but he couldn't place it just now, likely in his brief studies of soul reaper history he'd of heard it, but he hadn't pursued the knowledge in such depth to recognize it off hand. As the bitter laugh reached her ears, Kurosaki couldn't help but frown, a little offended that he hadn't believed her. Then again, who would? It may have been likely in Karakura, but certainly not anywhere else. Strange things were happening every day, and no one had a reasonable explanation for it. But that was fine. Stranger things had happened before.
Up above her sketchbook, she heard the mention of hyenas, before seeing a hand in her peripherals vision. She glanced up, seeing him offer a hand to her. Wait. Was he being kind? Nobody ever was in that hell of a school, so it was naturally a shocker. A faint blush appeared on her cheeks, though not the serious kind. She looked around, wondering whether or not anyone would watch, as she put hers in his, feeling a little discombobulated. "I- Uhm... Yes. Thanks...Sestran." Her confused expression was replaced by a smile, already feeling a little warm-hearted due to his... Well, it wasn't a kind nature, obviously, but it was something.
A few minutes later, class had long-started, and they had arrived at the classroom door, having chatted and found out they were supposedly in the same class. With a solid flick of her wrist, the door unhinged from the lock on the wall, and slid right open, revealing to the both of them the entire class of twenty-something people, whose heads were all turned to look at them. A common glare of her eyes was all it took for them to immediately go cold and turn back to the teacher—who did not look amused whatsoever. "Kurosaki," she groaned, "you couldn't have been fine with just skipping my class?"
"Not my fault I hate school." Her reply was pretty blunt, all she needed to retort. She looked over to Sestran, whom, she could predict, was just as disinterested as herself.

Instead tucking her arm into his elbow as they walked, the young man was clearly 'old school'. Though he let her lead the way, he didn't yet know his way around this building and the silence on their short walk was filled by him looking around and taking in minute details. Perceptive of his surroundings and while he retained a proper etiquette and posture he was also relaxed about it, unstressed.
His eyes settled on the teacher when they spoke. He stared quietly a long moment, barely offering a minor glance at the students. "I would think as a representative of this academic institution you would appreciate a student polite enough to offer an exchange student directions. Or is general logic frowned upon here?"
The teacher looked even less amused than before, and seemed about to reply when Sestran cut him off, likely to the surprise of all but himself. "You need not attempt, there is no excuse for your poor form. I will attend this session in hope your skill as a tutor far exceeds your grating personality. Do continue."
Yes, he probably shouldn't speak down so openly, but it was impossible to tolerate this level of incompetence without some sort of remark. As soon as he'd seen and heard the reactions there was little chance of him remaining polite to those within. He gestured to some open desks, allowing the lady to move ahead of him. As the bitter words came shooting out of Sestran's mouth, Hisana stared only dumbfounded for a second, before breaking out into laughter. She waved it off, taking a seat at her desk and pulling her sketchbook back out. What was it with this new kid? He seemed so...unsociable at first. Well, he still was. But his attitude was admirable enough for her to grin at. Not that it was a bad thing at all. Her pencil started lightly dancing across the page again, while the teacher continued with the lesson. school was just so...uninteresting. She had little to no interest for it, and it took up residence in such a small part of her mind. Why should she be sitting in class, when she could be kendo fighting with her father? ...Oh, right. Her mom made her. "A good education is as important as being able to swing a sword," she always said. How obnoxious.
A few minutes later, as the class droned on, a page in the book was already filled up with loose sketches of beautiful faces and people, arranged to look like a ballroom dance of sorts. Why Hisana drew these things, even she had no idea. But maybe it was from seeing so many couples around school. So much unnecessary drama occurred, but she figured it would be—fun, maybe?—to try a relationship. There was no telling what was in store for her.

She didn't dissolve into some tear filled child the moment she was put in front of the other students that apparently tormented her so much. Perhaps he hadn't yet seen the correct setting for the abuse in question.
Where she went to continuing her pursuit of art, Sestran was watching the teacher and listening in earnest to the lesson at hand. There was an incredible amount of information he lacked after a thousand years outside of society. He was eager to fill in all he could, which was why his day had begun in the library. Eventually things wound to a close and homework was be assigned shortly before the signal for the lunch hour echoed through the halls.
"Insulting..." Sestran thought "Herded through the building like sheep on a field..."
"Hey there, you should come have lunch with us, don't hang out with the freak. You're new so we can let it slide this once." One of the students in the room was speaking at him. A young woman with long hair done up in a fancy style and a layer of make up. Her face was amused, sending a glance at Hisana as though happy to cause any trouble she could. "We'll let you share our lunch boxes if you didn't bring one."
Sestran just blinked once at the young woman, staring dispassionately a long moment, eventually replying. "I decline, I do not spend my time with people such as yourself." As he got up from the desk where he was sitting, less than comfortable conditions they left their children in.
"C'mon guy, don't commit yourself to that team, your time in our country will be horrible. No one likes her, she's crazy, she talks about demons attacking her." Another student remarked, a boy this time. There was a tiny group of 'popular' kids standing nearby throwing other remarks in but Sestran had ceased to listen to them. Instead he was looking at Hisana, who had become a makeshift helper for this school farce in his mind.
"Is such senseless prattling common protocol?" He asked her, earning a few annoyed mutters from the group that had invited him. They were muttering pointless threats and unimaginative insults as they walked away but he didn't so much as spare them another glance. ╔═════════════════════════════════════════╗ Pantherlily 'The Lost Captain' Ex-Squad 7 Captain ╚═════════════════════════════════════════╝

The bells that rung in the school signaled for the students to attend their usual classes. As the students were filling their classes a small figure stood on the roof of the School building, simply staring out over the grounds of the school. Lily placed his paws on the chain link fence that was raised high to possibly prevent people falling from the roof, since they liked to gather here for lunch. His eyes scanned the whole area. He could feel the presence of a hollow. It was close by, no wait... It was far away?, Close?, Far?, Lily couldnt tell, his senses ever since he woke have been going crazy and he has yet to fully control them. This was something that bothered him a lot. Looking up to the top of the Fence and then looking around Lily made sure that there were no people around. Turning, he lowered himself slightly, his leg muscles tightened and then released as he sprung into the air, leaping over the fence with a graceful back flip. As he cleared the top, Lily placed his hand on the handle of the blade that was on his back, swinging it to his side as he fell head first down the side of the building. With a small pulse of reiatsu at his feet he shot rapidly passed the windows, if anyone caught sight of him from the classroom he would only be a momentary black blur, something you would possibly just think you seen.
As the ground came closer to wings formed on his back and he vanished just before the ground could hit him, a trail of dust and leaves left behind him that settled as quickly as it had formed. Lily sot towards the now visible hollow that was right outside the school gates. The ape like hollow didn't even get a chance to set one foot inside the gates as Lily slashed through its mask as fast as he possibly could. The only thing that escaped the hollow was a loud scream that was soon carried off with the wind. Lily landed on a building opposite the School gates and turned just in time to watch the last of the hollow Vanish. "Guess I'll go get something to eat then~..... I wonder where Serra Is..." Lily spoke to himself as he placed the sword back onto the straps that held it to his back. The straps tied themselves around the blade, securing it.
Lily jumped from the building and landed in the street below. a thin layer of spiritual energy cloaked his blade from the sight of the humans, which was a neat trick, but other spiritually aware being could easily see through it. Lily was now walking on all fours to conceal himself as an ordinary cat, aside from the pants, which he thought wouldnt be too odd, since dogs in this world could wear cloths. Lily made his was towards the school again, hoping to find the girl that he had grown attached to since he started exploring the school. Serra, she always took care of Lily and was the only person who knew about him, well, knew that he could talk like a human and carried a sword around with him. Like himself, she didnt know what he was.
As Lily re-entered the school gates and all that went through his mind was the thoughts of Serra bringing him a Tuna Roll and some Chocolate Milk. "Please say she brought them today!~" he spoke to himself as he passed easily through the gates and ran across the courtyard towards the back of the school where he usually met Serra. This vehicle had come from the far off airport, many miles from the city. Why, well it was took the journey to drop of a person. A tubby man looked over his shoulder to his passenger siting in the back. "We’re here, just head to the office to get you key and school stuff. I'll wait, in till you get back to take you to your home." The man said, just before the back door was opened.
And out stepped a tall, blonde haired boy with fair skin. His clothing was that of a normal foreign person. Who was this guy; well he was the new foreign kid that just arrived from the land of Portugal to get a better education. It was a good reason to cover up the true one. The boy had already entered the school yard and was almost at the entryway. He was forced to stop for a second noticing a cat with sword on its back and wearing pants. It was an odd thing to see, causing the boy to take a look.
Antonio walked over to the black cat, catching up to it in few seconds to get a better look. Just as he saw from a far it was the same as he got up close. "Would you look at this? I heard Japans was weird but I did think I would be seeing a cosplaying cat." he said out loud trying to pick up cat by his skin. ═══════════════╝ ═══════════════━╫━═════════════ I was give the worst pain a child could receive…. ….It’s only normal to give that gift back.

Lily was still making his way across the school when he felt a sudden yank on his collar. Before he knew it? he was being lifted into the air by some kid. Lily frowned and swiped out with his left paw, greatly missing the boy's face. "Hey!, ......Put me down!" He shouted to the boy, his tone of voice was stern and commanding. Lily quickly clamped his paws over his mouth and then quickly looked around. Luckily no one had heard him, other than the kid in front of him. Lily was still dangling in the air as the kid held him. "I...I..uh...I mean.....Meow?" He said, removing his paws form his mouth slowly and cocking an eyebrow.
Lily gave a slight cat like smile, he was hoping the kid would think he imagined him talking. 'Damn.... I shouldn't have said anything... I should have known better...' he thought, a bead of sweat forming in the back of his forehead as he continued to grin at the boy.
